Goblins Minesweepers - Hexing Swamps (Turn 3)

@John: you said See Four will get a backwards 4 tattoo every time he dies, but you haven't specified last time where he'll get one. Would you like to keep up with the tradition or did you change your mind?

Turn 3>>Next Turn

Spawns on Mines moves to N8, where he explores a "1". +1XP
Finds Mines tries to push the log northwards. She comes to the following conclusions: The log is too heavy to be lifted by herself. She can push it northwards (or any appropiate direction), but the reed is blocking the logs movement.
Flags Mines spawns on J9, finding a "1", too. +1XP
No-Legs flags M3.
Bouncing Burt spawns on C8, which is a "2"! He also stirs up a swamp crocodile that snaps at him, angrily. +1XP
Step-and-Boom (yellow) moves to B3, which is a "3". He gets really sick from being poisoned, and he has also stepped onto the tile where the spider has been hiding, poisoning him once again. DING!
Goska Bluey steps over to F2. This wasn't one of her better choices.
Oh See That Shiny drops the pan on G6. nothing happens.
Blitz Craig spawns on H6, uncovering a "2". +1XP

Stumbles around equips the yellow token and is a bit undecisive what to take as a second one. He does a thorough search of the reed, but doesn't find anything hidden there. He makes some notes, though: the reed is high enough for players and NPCs to hide mutually from each other, it may even block certain movements or movement-related actions. It doesn't have any "active" ways to interact with, the effects trigger passively. Unfortunately, he uses up his turn to investigate and cannot move onwards.

Dies-to-a-Mine forgets to spawn and risks circling out.

You are standing on B3. You mayhaps wanted to write another "B" or another "3" ?

You may want to choose 2 of the tokens too. (Not only 1.)

Erm, so do I have to (try to) use the equipped skill token before I get an explanation how it works?


Stumbles picks the blue token to keep after all.
He moves down to N6, like he intended to do last turn.
He also declares his rescue on who ever is about to blow up next turn (if more goblins are eligible, pick the one who would lose most XP, then the one who is closest to leveling up. If still a tie, random!).
If he needs to pick ONE specific goblin, instead of proclaiming a general intention, he'll choose Finds Mines. (I figure that standing on a 3 she has good chances of blowing up, provided that she moves.)

I give the explanations out when the effect of the skill triggers. So yeah, if it's an active skill you may want to try and use it. If it's a passive one, the description will come when something affects it the first time.

Same goes for equipment, nothing is unlocked/worths an achievement until it's not triggering/triggered by an effect.

Goblins Minesweepers - Hexing Swamps (Turn 4)

Flags Mines moves to J10, which is empty! +3XP
Step-and-Boom (yellow) takes the green and yellow tokens, flags B2, and then dies of the poisoning. The spider hides back into the reed.
Oh See That Shiny moves to G6, exploring a "1". He also picks the pan up again. Finders keepers! +1XP
Blitz Craig moves to I7, also revealing a "1". +1XP
No-Legs shuffles to L2, uncovering a "3". +1XP
Stumbles around decides to pack Visions, and moves to N6. It's a "3", too. +1XP
See Four spawns on B4, uncovering a "2". +1XP
Bouncing Burt goomba stomps the aligator, dealing minor damage. The beast uses "bite!". It's super effective! Burts health quickly dwindles downwards. One more such bite and it is likely over.

Finds Mines forgets to act, and risks circling out.

White Metal (white) equips his token, then spawns on K10. Unfortunately he doesn't get any XP because the tile has been recently explored.
Bada Boom spawns on K3, and explodes again. Nomen est omen? Luckily Stumbles around's wildcard declaration comes to the help, saving him and both of them gaining +1XP
Tries-and-Dies spawns on H2 with his pan and pole, and finds a "3". +1XP
Goska Bluey arrives on G3, with a "3" below her. +1XP

Rescue (hero): The skill user can declare explicitly another player who they wish to rescue. In case the other player is about to step/spawn on a mine or a trap, the rescuer saves them, moving both of them out of the map. The rescuer gains 1XP for rescuing another player and is also able to perform their regular action for the turn. In case he used a wildcard for declaring a target, the ability gets a 10 turn cooldown.
