I'm sure spawn turn doesn't allows an action, so Stumbles will not be able to help Flags now and will spawn O1. And unless GathersIngredients will change this move, next turn will be the last.

Finds: you are not sinking as long as you don't move to an already explored tile. Since you are only thigh deep in, that means you can still circle out. :)

Stumbles: you can't pull Flags out with "normal" pulling, but you can use your rescue on him (both of you getting off the map). I didn't see a suitable condition in your post for this action, so just mentioning it.

Gamecreator, even if she does step on O1, the game isn't quite over. If somebody decides to step on K6, however...

You did mean K5, probably. But yes, didn't notice it, thanks.

She can if she wants to, feel free to detour each other as you wish. :) Just noted that she is not in imminent danger, so you could organize well what to do in these last turns...

So I can use rescue on people in swamp holes? >:D I'll be back at the waiting line, but rescuing someone from a hole is worth 3 XP right? In that case (if I may change my actions and still have "dibs" on O1), have Stumbles spawn on O1 and THEN use rescue on the guy in O5. (IIRC, rescue happens after/in addition one's own, normal turn?) If rescuing someone from a bog hole takes the whole turn and/or is NOT possible after spawning, just rescue the guy on O5, without prior spawning.

Very sorry about all that confusion.

I'm a little confused. Does Finds need help? I could answer that call, right?

Otherwise, I was going to circle out. But if I can stand here and give someone (Stumbles called it first, right?) some XP, I'll do that.

IIRC, you can not circle out from a swamp pit (that defeats the purpose of a trap). And spawning isn't free action, so either Stumbles saves you next turn, or so does Tries. And there is move order to consider too.

And Finds doesn't really need help yet. I thought to use it for transport and to reset her sink counter at the same time, so then I could flag a tile under the log. As she circles out now, that is not possible.

Goblins Minesweepers - Hexing Swamps (Turn 20)

Postby LooksAndSmiles » Tue May 28, 2013 3:29 pm

Turn 20>>Next Turn

Blitz Craig spawns on O1 using the action chaos to his advantage. He finds a "1". +1XP
White Metal (white) flags O7 this time.
Since O1 is taken, Stumbles around reverts to his original post and spawns on O6, then rescues Flags Mines. He gains 1XP while doing so.
Tries-and-Dies would help Finds but she doesn't need it, then he would gladly help out Flags but gets ninjad by Stumbles. He is not prepared for such ungratefulness and idles on the map not knowing what to do.
Goska Bluey and Finds Mines tosses the log away. Goska flags D6, Finds circles out.
Oh See That Shiny circles out and equips the red token too.

Bada Boom forgets to act and risks circling out.
No-Legs forgets to spawn and risks circling out.

On the off-screen, Burt equips his unaligned token. He does not feel any change just yet.

MAP:
Image

Quest Items obtained
an old, tattered piece of a map.

Achievements
[spoil]Group Achievement: "Each To Their Own", for letting someone die a slow death in a trap. (recieved on Round 1, Turn 15)
Bada Boom: "Had a Sinking Feeling", for being the first to die in a sink-trap.
No-Legs: "Huntress", for being the first to slay a monster.
Bouncing Burt: "Easy Choice", for finding the highest number on a labyrinth layout map.
Oh See That Shiny: "Plays With Things", for using an item as intended.
No-Legs: "Decisive", for locking down a skill.
Group Achievement: "Busy Sweeping", for at least 5 people placing flags in a turn. (recieved on Round 1, Turn 7)
Bouncing Burt: "It's Not the Mines That Trouble Me", for being the first to die in combat.
Group Achievement: "Conga Line", for each waiting player being able to spawn due to circling out / death / etc. (recieved on Round 1, Turn 4)
Step-and-Boom (yellow): "Name Your Poison", for dying of poisoning.
Finds Mines: "What That Do?", for interacting with a map item.[/spoil]

Skill Information unlocked
[spoil]Answer the Call (hero): The player is able to teleport to a discovered tile next to another player, provided that player has requested help. Teleporting there happens as a free and first action of the player, who can still perform a regular action afterwards.
Jump (spelunky): The user of this skill is able to land on an empty tile in distance [1+X], where X is the level of the jump. The tile must be located in a straight line from the starting point, where the line spans over the adjacent tiles lying in between them. Jumping affects only the tile the player lands on, it does not interact with the tiles inbetween.
Rescue (hero): The skill user can declare explicitly another player who they wish to rescue. In case the other player is about to step/spawn on a mine or a trap, the rescuer saves them, moving both of them out of the map. The rescuer gains 1XP for rescuing another player and is also able to perform their regular action for the turn. In case he used a wildcard for declaring a target, the ability gets a 10 turn cooldown.
Warning(Seer): The player recieves a warning before stepping or spawning on a tile that has a mine below. The token goes inactive and can be used again in 25 turns.
Visions (Seer): The player is able to reveal any undiscovered tile of the playfield and gains an XP. The token goes inactive and can be used again in 25 turns.[/spoil]

Equipment Information unlocked
[spoil]Bow: Can shoot in any straight direction to 3 movement distance away. Damage depends on the arrows used. Arrows may break upon impact. Requires clear line of sight to the target, fellow players do not count as obstacle.
Whip: Can reach any tile within 2 step walking distance. Deals minor damage. Ability: Bind Target (instead of dealing damage, the user can connect themselves with the target, and so both of them have to stay within 2 steps walking distance. In case they wish to move in different directions, size and strength difference will matter. The user might also try to bind specific parts of the target, but that has only 50% chance to succeed without having an appropiate mastery.). Whipping or binding another player without their consent counts as an evil action.
Trousers: When stepping on a tile with a mine underneath, they produce 50% chance to save the player from death, getting destroyed in the process. If they fail they remain on the user. Trousers do not prevent item drop at explosion.[/spoil]

Turn 21 - FINISHED!

Bouncing Burt spawns on E7, trying to determine whether the token does anything. No it doesn't. It looks like it's connected to other tokens, and not neccessarily to the map. E7 is a mine, but the goblin doesn't explode thanks to Goska Bluey who saves him by a swift move. Both of them gain +1XP
White Metal (white) tears off some reed. He holds the useless plant for a while, then shrugs and throws it away.
Tries-and-Dies touches at N9 with his 10ft pole, but nothing happens. It's almost as if the pole is a more sophisticated adventuring tool than to be used as a poking stick.
No-Legs spawns on K5, uncovering the final tile, a - surprise! - "3". DING!

Blitz Craig circles out.
Bada Boom circles out.
