Year 4, month 2, week 1:
"all lava and similar reservoirs rise by 2 blocks."

Events:
- Zoomy can hear sounds in the vents above the furnance. Are the bugs returning.

Boomy:
Boomy continues to mine to the right, ignoring the copper above him as he is not sure if mining it would weaken the ceiling too much. He mines 1 copper and 2 construction stone, then he builds a pillar.

Complains:
Complains kills another bat before Zoomy alarms him about the noise in the vent shafts.

Oggy:
Oggy learns exploring 1, then he and Trip continue collecting seaweed. Together they collect 5 seaweed.

Ryan:
Ryan chisels foot holes into 6 blocks towards the tunnels above the upper pond. Since he cannot start chiseling in the water, he does it diagonally from the edge of the pond.

Trip:
Trip learns food provider 1, then he and Oggy continue collecting seaweed. Together they collect 5 seaweed.

Zoomy:
Zoomy experiments with iron based on the chitin scale shirt. He wastes 1 iron, but he manages to turn the second iron into 2 iron scales by repeatedly heating and hammering it.

Year 4, month 2, week 3:
"all lava and similar reservoirs fall back to their normal level. Gas and steam might stop streaming."

Events:
- the gas keeps streaming.

Boomy:
Boomy continues to mine to the right, gaining 2 copper and 4 construction stone.

Complains:
Complains is not sure how long the lid can withstand the cave bugs in the vent shaft. He can spot at least three of them.

Oggy:
Oggy and Trip continue collecting seaweed. Together they collect 5 seaweed.

Ryan:
Ryan chisels foot holes into 3 more blocks towards the tunnels on his right, escaping the smell that way. He crouches into the little tunnel, but doesn't get very far before he finds a hole in the ground, losing itself deep below himself.

Trip:
Trip and Oggy continue collecting seaweed. Together they collect 5 seaweed.

Zoomy:
Zoomy tries to build something out of the iron scales, based on the chitin scale shirt. He manges to build a prototype of a scale shirt made of metal. Other than the chitin scale shirt it does not need a shirt to start with. He hands it to Complains, as he is a better fighter, on top of Zoomy being crammed with his tools. He improved a lot as metalworker and smith lately.

Do you want to mine or destroy the stone? Are you going for the other veins or directly right in a straight line?

We have enough construction stone so it can be destroyed.
I want to make a tunnel to the other side of the lake, a strait line will be fine.
I'll also make pillars along the way.

Minelings (Final)

Year 4, month 3, week 1:

Events:
Complains and Zoomy prepare to fight the bugs attacking the lid. They expect it to break soon from the noises they can hear. Both armed with good armor and weapons, they use the rack to narrow down the passage and take a defensive stance behind it. Then, the bugs break through and attack.

They manage to kill them on the passage without receiving too much damage.

Suddenly, the large bug the goblins spotted earlier was behind the rack and flailing at it with his strong arms. Complains and Zoomy grabbed as much as they could and spun around and ran, the bug not far behind them.

Without much options, the jumped down towards the stairs leading to the long tunnel, since it was too narrow for the bug. The noise and shouts alarmed Bob, who joined them on the way down.

Not much later, while the other three were still climbing down the stairs, Oggy and Trip, still collecting seaweed, were alarmed by loud splashing sounds. They turned around and saw something large approaching, half below and half above the surface.

Quickly they dove to the boat and tipped it over, hid below it. They swam away from the beast to the east side of the lake. The beast followed them, but then it got distracted by the water falling down from the waterfall. It rose both arms and tried to attack the water that fell on it, while the goblins arrived.

Surprised they coughed in the gas, but they could not get back. In the distance, they saw Ryan and ran towards him. They gasped when they reached the fresh air, and told him what was going on. He explained them, that they could not go down the tunnels, since it was a dead and and where the gas was coming from. So they grabbed a lot of seaweed and climbed into the narrow tunnels on the east.

After a long time in narrow and wet tunnels, they found a familiar looking tunnel and climbed down.

Then, they were alarmed by loud clacking noises. Without a place to hide, they had to wait and see what was coming at them. To their surprise, it was the other goblins! And if that wasn't enough, they were riding on skeleton horses, the horses they had seen earlier. And where did they get saddles to ride on?

Boomy, Complains and Zoomy did laugh, and just tell them to climb on a horse too. The horses allowed them to climb up, and just when they sat down, saddles magically appeared and shifted them slightly up. They also suddenly knew all about the skeleton horses. It were the horses of the minor goblin deitys presumed dead, which were called the seven riders of the goblin apocalyptic. Avarice, Attrition, Fraud, Ruse, Susa and Throng. There should be a seventh, but nobody knew his name for some reason. The mounts lend great strength to their riders. The did not learn why the horses where down here and what had happened to the riders, but it was convenient to use them, so they rode along the tunnel.

After a while, they reached a dead end and some ruins. If the tunnel had led any further, a cave in had blocked it off. There were two doors and a plattform with some stairs.

The room behind one was collapsed, but behind the other they found tools. They walked up as far as they could, then they started to mine. Not long after, stone turned into earth, then there were roots. When they finally saw
sunlight again for the first time in years, they were blinded for a while. Around them was a dense forest andstones that maybe once were part of the ruins.

The worked a while on a larger tunnel to also bring the horses up, then they rode east. After a while, they spotted a goblin warcamp. Other goblins! they cheered and rode to them. The otheres were afraid cause of the horses for a while and raised their arms, but after some explanation, they lowered them and welcomed the newcomers.

And they lived happy ever after!

I hope you all enjoyed the game as much as I did and thank you for the great time. I wished we could have done it for some longer and would not have lost so many people. But such things happen, so let's meet again in the next game.
