Constructlings (Year 3, month 1, week 2)

Year 3, month 1, week 2:
"All characters get 1 SA (special action)."

Events:
- the gurgling and walloping noises from the empty, upper lake get louder.

Bob:
Bob creates a raft for Ash, 2 blocks long. But as often enough water spills on it while Bob swims over to Ash, the salamander does not trust it and stays in the tunnel.

Chopper:
Chopper learned a lot about gardening. But for now, he decides to build a bridge over the lake. He calculates a lot, estimating it will take around 80-120 lumber plus material for temporary support structures. Maybe even some construction stone at the base. He starts with building the support structures with worker 3 after he calculated that he needs at least one bridge pillar in the middle. They use 16 construction stones for the base. Only 6 construction stones are left.

Kach:
Kach wants to make an axe, but as he has no mould yet he starts by creating one for the axe head. He takes a look at the existing hatchets to make it easier. But he does not know how to make layers of iron, he only knows how to work with moulds and cast iron so far. He manages to create a single use axe head mould out of 2 construction stone and melts 2 iron into it, creating an axe head.

Mint:
Mint builds a wooden tub out of 8 lumber. What should he put in it now?

Tar:
Tar moves what he and worker 2 mines back to the storage area, but has too little time to return to worker 2. On the way, he thinks about creating thread. But without experiments, he does not know if his ideas might work.

Zaul:
Zaul tries to craft the knife-shaped obsidian shard into a knife, but he fails. It needs a handle or at least a wrapping, else it will be slippery and the danger of cutting oneself will be huge.

Worker 1:
Worker 1, having nothing to do, cooks 2 of the 3 raw fish in the storage.

Worker 2:
After mines 1 iron and 2 construction stone.

Worker 3:
Worker 3 helps Chopper with constructing the large bridge.

Hobgoblin Hgon:
Hgon tries to treat his wounds, but fails due to a lack of knowledge.

Chopper continues the bridge construction with the help of Worker 3. He focuses intently on his work, zoning out anything other than his work.

Spend 1 SA to speed up construction of the Super Bridge™.

Zaul will leave everything except his spear, grab 5 pine seeds and a razor and go shear goats, [s]threating[/s] treating them with seeds to get them used to shearing.

Bob tries to "upgrade" the raft, putting some kinds of borders made of wood on the sides so water can not come in. (making some kind of a half-box, something like the minecraft boat.)

Tar will attempt to mine the [s]brown[/s] lighter grey colored stone, unless we already know what it is.(Maybe it's silver and we can make silver weapons?)

It's coal. One block of coal is mined into 4 briquets. One briquet burns for 2 weeks. We have 6 briquets in storage.

Kach hands the axe head to Tar, then makes another sword (SA) still pondering how to make it magical, this time he tries to use coal to inscribe symbols in the mold before casting the blade. still trying to add energy to the possess...

(Well, if nothing else, he should soon be an okay smith :P)

Year 3, month 1, week 3:

Events:
- a tremor shakes the ground and your hear rocks cracking and falling at the empty, upper lake.
- the gurgling and walloping noises from the empty, upper lake continue and you feel the rear wall of the first room getting warmer and warmer.

Bob:
Bob upgrades the little raft by adding more lumber to it. He needs 4 lumber to build sidewalls that keep the water from running over the raft. He swims back to Ash, where he hears voices through the narrow tunnel. Ash does not go in the boat right away, but after the wet floor dried. Then he decides to trust it and allows Bob to bring him to the other side of the little lake. But Bob notices that the wood is scorched where Ash's body touched it. Seems the salamander showed a lot of self-control to not eat or burn the boat.

Chopper:
Chopper continues the bridge construction with the help of Worker 3. As they run out of construction stones before they can finish the pilar, they start with the wooden support construction, using 6 construction stones and 14 lumber.

Kach:
Kach wants to hand the axe head to Tar, but tar is not there, so he just puts it into the storage. Then he grabs two iron and creates another iron sword. He thinks he failed with trying to imbue magic to it, but then he notices that it just does not want to cool down. The tip stays hot, even after he dipped it in water.

Mint:
Mint grabs a bucket and fills the tub with water

Tar:
Tar starts to climb down Bob's cave to mine some of the unknown ore. He manages to reach worker 2 this week.

Zaul:
Zaul leaves everything except his spear, grabs 5 pine seeds and a razor and goes shear goats. On the way up he notices that the upper lake slowly fills with lava. Where did that come from? He uses two hands full of pine seeds to bring two of them into the mood to allow him to shear them.

Worker 1:
Worker 1, having nothing to do, cooks 1 raw fish and catches 1 fish.

Worker 2:
Worker 2 mines 1 iron and 2 construction stone. As he cannot carry all he mined, he starts placing the ressources in the tunnel.

Worker 3:
Worker 3 helps Chopper with constructing the large bridge.

Hobgoblin Hgon:
Hgon tries to treat his wounds, but fails due to a lack of knowledge.

Bob discovers: Boat (1 log or 4 wood per block): Each block can carry either 6 blocks or one mineling. (see FAQ for more)

thrilled to finally having some results Kach makes sure to take mental note of what he did, then he takes the last piece of iron and tries to make a long dagger, repeating the process but with more care for exploration, testing and results than for an actual useful weapon.

"Ok Ash, you seem hungry, how about some wood? Would you like it?" Bob says and gives Ash a piece of Lumber. "Now, I wonder if you can help me again with the lava? I want to swim into this pool" Bob says and heads to the lava pool to the left. "So will you come with me down there?" Assuming Ash licks Bob, Bob will jump to the lava pool and swim down.

Constructlings (Year 3, month 2, week 1)

Year 3, month 2, week 1:
"all lava and similar reservoirs rise by 1d3 blocks."

Events:
- the upper lake continues to fill with lava and rises by 2 blocks. You feel the rear wall of the first room getting warmer and warmer. It is also getting quit hot around the upper bridge.

Bob:
Bob notices how Ash cannot take his eyes fromt he wooden support construction for the bridge and feeds him one lumber. Ash eagerly eats it in a mix of swallowing and burning it. Then he convinces Ash to following him to the formerly upper lake. Ash seems to understand and licks Bob again, just in time, as Bob finds out the upper pool is full of lava which keeps rising. He takes a bath in it and tries to keep it from flowing into the tunnel, so it won't block it when it cools down. He keeps shoveling slightly cooled down and more while it cools down and more viscous lava to the left.

Chopper:
Chopper and worker 3 use 16 lumber while working on the wooden support construction for the bridge.

Kach:
Kach, thrilled to finally having some results, make a mental note, trying to remember what he did. He grabs the last piece of iron and tries to make a long dagger, but it is not enough. All he can make is a small knife, but at least he managed to enchant the same way he did with the sword. He sweats a lot inside the room cause the rear wall is so hot.

Mint:
Mint keeps filling the tub. Because of the lava the water inside it is warmer than in the lake.

Tar:
Tar climbs further down until he reaches the light grey ore. He has not enough time left to mine it, but he can at least analyze it a bit by hitting it a few times. It is not as hard as iron, more like copper, but it seems to be much heavier than both, iron and copper.

Zaul:
Zaul shears two more goats. This week he only needs one handful of pine seeds until they allow him to collect their wool. He gains 4 wool.

Worker 1:
Worker 1, having nothing to do, cooks 1 raw fish and catches 1 fish.

Worker 2:
Worker 2 mines 1 iron and 2 construction stone. As he cannot carry all he mined, he continues to place the ressources in the tunnel.

Worker 3:
Worker 3 helps Chopper with constructing the large bridge.

Hobgoblin Hgon:
Hgon tries to treat his wounds, and finally succeeds. He will now regain 1 hp per turn until he is at full hp. He swims to the other side of the lake and sits down below the tree, letting his legs hanging into the water.

Kach discovered: Knife (1 iron): +1 ATK, also a good tool to cut or carve things.

- 7 constructlings eat this turn (5 players, 2 NPC). Worker 1 eats this turn. The hobgoblin eats. Ash eat. 10 food and 1 lumber is consumed.
- 6 people don't have to eat next turn thanks to the cedar planked salmon dishes.

Zaul learns heaver 1 and transports all wool back to the house. Then he tries to spin some thread from it.
