Doctor Who 50th

Post by Unlucky-for-Some » Sun Nov 24, 2013 4:29 pm

So, who (hah!) went to see this at the movies and what did you think?

I did, and I loved it! But I am interested to know what others thought? I liked the 3D elements which I thought were well done but not over used (oooh and I got to see the Hobbit trailer in 3D too, which was way cool). I very much enjoyed the interactions between the doctors and really appreciated the main story line. The secondary story was a bit odd in that they didn't really resolve it for us in the audience, although I suppose they may be planning to in the next season. The Doctor's meeting with the Curator towards the end was just magical for me and foreshadows either the xmas special or the upcoming season I suspect.

And I loved the pre-show bit where Strax comes on to deliver the "no talking, no cellphones" message in his own special Sontaran way.

All in all a big  from me :D
All hail the power of the stick!

This was one of the bits of it - not the whole thing but you get a feel for what it was like :)
