That's a great idea, Krulle. He spent so much time coloring it, it's kind of a shame to just see it so small.

But yeah, I wouldn't count on him putting the main page link back up, or adding a vote incentive. Although, seeing a new incentive would help to show people he's drawing again.

Well, we were in the 30s, but now we're above 50 again. <sigh>

Yeah, no vote incentive (although we got the image via a tweet - with altered colours)

And no further updates yet.

But being within the top100 is still a great achievement seeing how long we had NO update at all.

Looks like we're off the chart completely again now. Or possibly I just couldn't find us. It's late.

Yesterday it was 144....

You can search for Goblins, the search field is below the list of 100....

Alas, I cannot embed the dynamic image, the forum software does not recognise it....
See:

Edit: I tried it yesterday, and it did not work.
So, the simple example proved me wrong.
In my signature it does not work, or did not yesterday.
Edit2: today it works. Software is weird.

That is awesome, and I'm going to steal it for my signature. 8)

Feel free.

BTW: I noticed something weird: if you first vote via a banner, you can vote again via your TWC favorites list.
The other way around it does not work (vote already registered).
So I can vote twice per machine per day.
(traffic report: I am apparently not the only one who knows about this.)

Also: see how many are voting via the links in this thread or our signatures... :D

Delete/Repost/Added: I just noticed I can actually vote plenty of times for Goblins, if I use a different link everytime. (Once per thread where you or I have posted seems to work, too lazy to test if I can vote for each thread page....)
Edit: nope, but two threads do work, and with the third I seem to need to wait. At office I voted about 8 times for GobCom, each time with "successful"....

Better late than never? There's a new vote incentive up. :)

And, according to Twitter, a vote button will be up shortly again:

Today's incentive is absolutely awesome. Let's see how many forumers change their avatars into it :)

With the wording Tarol has chosen to tweet, I kind of expected YoungAndBeautiful in the current drawing style...

New pic under the vote button (below the #Goblins title at http://goblinscomic.org ). Vote to see the "sexiest" damn goblin ever. SFW

Oh, yes. Thunt wouldn't want it posted publicly, but a PM's inbound.

About one hour ago:
@THunt_Goblins wrote:Sketch of a new main character who enters #Goblinsvery soon, is now under the vote button which is under "Goblins". http://www.goblinscomic.org

With that many new vote incentives, we're reaching for #1 again...
The next two steps are are doable with THunt's fanbase, but going for #1 will be a stretch...
Maybe in February... :)

Easily second place in next day or so. First place? Dunno...

Although, there's no real need to fight for the first place. The top-3 is enough exposure by itself.

Top 10 is, top five even more so.

And many Goblinsfans who were "lost" during the last year might see this return into the TWC-top ten and come back for a look....

It's times like this that remind me that there really is a vast, silent mass of Goblins fans and we aren't alone in the forum. This makes me very happy indeed, and I hereby name them the Dark Fandom. What? I don't see anything wrong...

2kinds fans use some kind of bot to generate votes I think, looking at the discrepancy of the votes. Or it's waaaaay more popular than other webcomics. Which I doubt.
Number two is fine :P
I feel smart, but I'm pretty sure I'm an idiot.

"We" were up there too. But most full-professional comics stop using TWC at a certain time.
Or promote voting only once in a while to attract new readers (I once read one which ran only in November, others do it only when the number of readers drops sufficiently to make a dent in income, so possibly only once every two/three years).
Just remember how long it took Goblinscomic to fall out of TWCtop100.
