But that can just as easily be true if some kliks eat metal, wood, stone and other materials used to make weapons and tools. I just doubt that all of them do, because I can't see why Thunt would mention the whole concept of positives and negatives in the first place if all kliks had the same positive and the same negative.

Seeing how many Kliks there are in that small area, and if one fifth of them is metallic and eats metal, then civilisations using metals do have a problem, even if only 20% of all kliks eat metal.

But which category does stone Klik belong to?

My guess is, there are solid, gas, and energy kliks; they each choose from 1 of 5 classes to excell at different stats & skills. So that lightning-fast yellow klik, for instance, might be a power-gamer type by combining a speed-class with actual lightning composition. Same for stone-klik, whose girthy arms suggest a strength-class that works well with stone.

Definitely, although now I'm trying to wrap my head around temporal kliks. My guess is the Escher klik (that's what I'm choosing to dub the larger one that caught Forgath) fits into that category.

Brilliant expansion of the Goblins universe - the Klikans are legion. Can't wait for background stories to follow.

Cool page. Very super-hero-y vibe (Forgath and the Legion of Super-Kliks?) which is a bit different for Goblins. I'm betting the one with the staff will be the healer.

Simple! Just tell them "internet" and leave it at that. That's more than enough explanation. :D

Also the rock klik could be organic. There's lots of organic creatures that look rocky for camouflage. Maybe it copied one of those?

I'm coming around to the Goblinslayer theory. That wooden Klik looks an awful lot like whatever mysterious thing turned half of Dellyin's body into living wood capable of generating new shapes (like a bow and arrows) at will.

Again, I don't think prosthetics are that popular among Kliks. Most likely, Junior was the only one in entire comic.

I recall reading somewhere that Dellyn's plant half was created by the same wizard who made treasure plants, but I might be wrong.

There's a wooden Klik! And it looks like Goblinslayer!
Although Goblinslayer was not as powerful as Dies was with Junior, so... maybe in his case it didn't make a soul. He was able to form shapes with his wooden part though, so yeah, definitely seems connected to this wooden Klik fellow.

Just noticed that the big NRS in panel 4 doesn't seem to be KLIK-ing...maybe some of them are not so Noisy. (And we see at least one on the far left of the last panel which isn't all that Round either.)

I don't remember that?
Can't find a reference either.

In my previous post there's a link that the self-replenishing arrows Kin uses in the battle of Brassmoon City have been created by the same magic that created Dellyn Goblinslayer....
[Edit] oh gee, that post was in a different thread. Sorry. Here's the link.[/Edit]

Also: prosthetics are frowned upon by the kliks, and absolutely unusual (and forbidden).
Forbidden = forbidden magic? Like the forbidden magic that created the Axe of Prissan?

I'm surprised so many people were surprised by the page. Not just Biscuit did foreshadow existing of abundance of kliks, he named the place ÔÇö Cloudypine Mountain. And we know from the map, that the entrance to the Dragon's Maw dungeon crawl is at Cloudypine Mountain.

(Ugh, it looks like the map is not in the links on the website. Somehow, I was sure it'll be there. If it's not available, i can upload it from my drive, or was there a prohibition from Thunt about posting the map? I don't remember)

Nope, he did not forbid it, but the map is/will be bonus content for paper/e- books.
It's still on site, if you know how to find it.

Rather, it's one klik that is visible/exists only once per second, leaving afterimages.

You can replicate that effect while some light is flashing at fairly low frequency (such as in clubs). For example, some street lights don't burn continously but rather flash at a fairly high frequency but low enough to leave afterimages. It only seeming to burn continously but when something such as your hand moves fast enough it leaves visible trail of afterimages.

I love the fact that the walls rushing by are gradually slowing down so you can see more details by the end. Oh, and the 11th hour, 59th minute and 59th second save.

Semi-off topic:

If any of you are interested in getting Kliks as avatars, I can help you extracting them from the picture. Provided we won't change the scene now I suspect there will be plenty more kliks around to choose from.

Here are 3 kliks I quickly cut from the recent pic (linked individually):

Cheers,

p.s.: This could be moved to the Avatars thread in Community, I thought it would be more visible if I posted here first, though.

p.p.s: Yes, I know the blood klik is supposed to be somewhat translucent, but it would have been more work. :D
