Exactly. My aunt is the same way. Kept her maiden name professionally, uses her married name with friends and family. It's not that uncommon for people who worked to earn a professional reputation before getting married to keep that name for professional use afterwards.

His Twitter account lists his name as "Tarol Hunt/Stephens" in order to reflect that he uses both. The books all list the author as Tarol Hunt, so that's the appropriate name to use on the official blog.

Because one of those threads went extremely off-topic and was no longer even on that topic, one of those threads was off-topic and not really on that topic from the start, and the "A Month in" thread was mostly a request for a way to notify people of te update when it happens. Not being a mod, making a thread like this is the most obvious way to notify people effectively.

If I have done poorly or have made a poor decision in this, I apologize and this thread can be deleted.

All I really want to hear is that Thunt is doing alright. Aside from that not much to be mad about really, I would even understand if for some reason he needed to extend the Hiatus so long as he popped on twitter every once in a while and let us know he's doing alright.
