Yes, but none of the guards and the like tasked with prisoner and supply transport are doing drop offs before 7 AM...

Why don't you pass the time by reading up on the previous events so you know what items are lying around, what areas of the castle have been explored and what the other sparks are like.

I have some stuff I need to do this morning, if I get that done in the next 2.5 hrs, I may get around to posting, otherwise I have a memorial/funeral service to go to this afternoon/evening, so I may not get a post up until.... sometime??

Nothing you can or need to do for Sal, I just got tired of trying to find something for him to do. He will sleep unharmed until NOA returns to claim him. Or he'll flee in the middle of the night...

Zero Skills.

Unfortunately I have a Spookers shift tonight and then there's a big Comic Con on tomorrow, so I'll do my best to make my post in 8 hours or so as I don't think I'll be on at all tomorrow.

EDIT: Made a hasty one before I leave.

Have fun scaring folks!
I'm going to leave all of you guessing if she's putting up a damn good front, obviously insane, or on a mission to infiltrate this place.... ;)
Or all three...

Quarg, you may want to make your speech #40BFFF so you don't clash with WearsHats, he already uses royal blue.

Just a heads up for new guys... posting vague, contradictory or impossible tasks given the supplies/tools/expertise at hand is a good way to ensure that your character spends a turn or more doing something less than useful. They likely will still get progress towards study points in something, but it may not be what you were setting out to accomplish, so please be specific in your intent. If you are not certain if you can do something, you can always use a turn to study the problem, and likely gain experience doing so, as well as find out if it is something I will deem to be reasonable.

Reading over some of the game thread thus far, if you haven't done so already, may help clarify things, though some of hte mechanics and my approach to dealing with things has shfited since the initial start of the game.

I just want some better tools, so that I can start dissecting stuff.

I know... but you don't have anything to dissect yet anyway, besides your fellow sparks, and I doubt they would take that well at all...

That is not true. There are leeches, bees, rats, toupe, maybe some viruses if you let me play with those.

That IS true. Ziou has NONE of those things, nor would he know that they exist. (Toupe?)

I know you'd asked about disease and plague stuff, and I haven't really answered back, because I was undecided, but leaning towards no... My gut instinct is that I'd rather avoid it. I don't have a good way to introduce it, or mechanisms in place for dealing with it... And it would kind of suck if I allowed it, you developed a disease :handwaving: *somehow*, I assigned a mechanism/stats to it and you all got party wiped by it.

True, he does not yet. But might as well get a kit ready incase he sees something he can disect that is not a spark.
...And I was jokig abot the toupee/wig noss thing.

Oh okay. Horrible dead abominations it is then.

don't hurry so much. Most of us spend 3 real-life-month on creating their first proper tool/weapon.

Sorry for making two posts before others, thought I would get introduction out of the way given I'm going to be away most of tomorrow. Enoch will basically assist everyone else with sorting through supplies and setting up. I'll worry about workbench and other tasks later once others have had their turns and action.
