The warhorse skeleton gives the elk a long steady look, the fires in its eye sockets flaring a little as its animating spirit recognizes its old foe. It looks to the right looks carefully at the insect warrior. Recognizing its prior ally, it tosses its head in acknowledgement, rears in salute. It then steps on the red square.

The Elk moves southward, sniffing at the glowing wall.

The Warhorse Skeleton steps on the red tile, partially opening its walls as well as the walls of the red segment of the arena.

Burns the Animated Armor, you're up!

The Animated Armor clanks to the side, stepping on the humming tile, which changes its pitch as one of the walls of the Armor's segment fully disappears, and the other does partially. Across the arena, the gray segment also loses one wall entirely, and half of anther.

The Armor turns about and tromps south east, stepping on the other tile and altering its hum as well. As it does, the walls of its own section vanish completely, and the walls of the purple section retreat halfway.

The Animated Armor is able to detect the presence of something ahead of it.

The satyr moves north two tiles, then west four, which, if I'm not mistaken, puts me just in range to shoot the yellow Thri-Kreen without disadvantage.
AC=6 (Nat 1)

I'm on the way, elk friend! I'm at the edge of my range for shooting the scary bug, though.

Also, let's see if pressing two of one colour is still magical.

The Gold tinted Thri-Kreen fades into the background, a smile lingering for a few seconds as if it was the Cheshire Cat.

Stealth: 2D20.HIGH(1)+2 = [5, 19]+2 = 21 (Actually 23, wrong modifier, should be +4)

I'll "move" after whatever happens with the red area.

As the Satyr moves up, it steps on the red tile, and both of its walls retract, as does the one in the red segment of the arena, but the obelisk does not turn in response.

The Satyr fires an arrow at the Thri-Kreen, but it scatters across the tiles.

Badge the Thri-Kreen is up, but is being directly observed by the Satyr, and is unable to hide from it! ((If you want, I'll say your hide attempt could be used, but the Satyr still would know where you are..))

^So it was a fluke that SVM the spider was able to sneak...

so be it.

The yellow tinted thrikreen runs and leaps and bounds across the arena until it is 1 tile southwest of the obelisk (blue area - 75ft)

The Thri-Kreen that was fired on by the Satyr bounds to the obelisk with the clacking of mandibles and ducks behind the large stone pillar.

Theis the Thri-Kreen is up, having just seen one of it's species, but of a slightly different color, round the obelisk!

Yup, I just like spiders more. :P

There will be more complex arenas at some point, with more opportunity for skulking about, I just wanted to see how this same one works at a bigger scale, then we'll try something different next match.

Probably nothing interesting, since the Ooze can only eat through non-magical metal. Considering the Animated Armor is animated, and it's specifically rendered immobile while in an anti-magic field, it's probably magical.

((Yeah, if they were to fight it out, I'd say the armor is protected from the corrosion. If the armor had a weapon, I'd say that would be affected, but since the attack is "Slam", I'd say that would be trying to mash things with its gauntlets.))

Although there is the case to be made on whether it's a "magical set of armor" or if it's "regular armor animated by magic". I wouldn't bet on that being ruled in my favor, though.

I'd say that it may have started as regular armor animated by magic, but has been infused with the animating force enough to be its own magical construct entity. It has HP and is considered a construct, but the thing that swings it more towards being magic as opposed to just animated by magic is that if it's hit with dispel magic, you don't get a free set of plate armor, you just knock it out for a minute, after which it wakes up and starts smashing you again. So to me, it's a creature in its own right, that is magical and made of metal, so proof against gray ooze... of course, since the ooze won't eat through it... there are lots of gaps in that armor...

oooooo, so, since the ooze can squeeze through a gap of 1 inch or less, can you ooze get inside the animated armor....effectively wearing another person, being protected from danger as long as magic doesn't hit it?

The other thri-kreen nods in approval as he see his fellow specie shimmer and change color decides to follow in his footstep and let himself fade into the background as much as possible after he steps on the purple tile

The second Thri-Kreen steps on the purple tile (Can I have a Perception check from the Brown Bear and the other Thri-Kreen? and it lights up. The center obelisk rotates to point towards the purple section of the arena.

Noxious clouds of green gas billow out, sweeping over that area! Satyr, CON save please!
