As Irene goes off to pick up her new Amaura, and Tyke enthusiastically signs up for all the contests, Izzy sort of spaces out in the lobby, trying to decide whether to sign up for anything after all. Eventually, Kay makes the decision for her - reaching down with one clawed wing and tapping her on the nose, followed by an upside-down shake of the head.

"Heh, yeah, you're right - this isn't really our scene, is it?"
"...come on, I've got a better idea...."

Leaving Tyke to her performance, Izzy exits the contest hall and instead heads out to the busiest part of the town she can find. Somewhere with lots of shoppers and people going about their day. Once she's found a suitably comfortable spot, she settles down on the ground with her hat out in front of her (much to Kay's annoyance, as she's forced to briefly relocate herself), pulls out her guitar....and starts to play.

Bjorn receives a message from Drake while out shopping, and sends off an reply.

Code: Select all

Hey, I'm still looking for a pokemon more for the tournament so I wanted to hear if you want to tag along. I'm either going to a cave or a lake to find a water pokemon hopefully.

Code: Select all

Hi, while exploring we found a cave system with an underground lake which had Drillbur, Whismur and Wooper, but I think there was trouble down there - you'd need to speak to Koa and Irene about that. We also found a lake that had Mudkip and Lotad. I probably won't come with as I was going to look for some work by the stadium or maybe trainer battles today, but I can give you directions to either or James should remember the way also.

Marvelling at how quick he was to join, Elias sends the vulpix back out of the ball. "You won't regret it, I promise!" He says. Letting the vulpix bid farewell to his companions, Elias then starts heading with his new addition over to the stadium, trying to keep his eyes peeled for anything else that might look promising along the way. "You will need a name, though... hmm... does Beauame sound good to you?" He asks the vulpix tagging along.

"Pix!"

"Beauame it is," Elias says, admiring the little vulpix. It's then that a text comes in from Drake on his pokedex. Turning his attention to the new matter at hand, Elias sends back a reply.

Code: Select all

Greetings. Unfortunately, I intend to work at the Stadium today; I'm currently trying to drum up some cash so as to actually be able to feed the new additions to my team. However, if it is a water pokemon you desire, I do happen to have a Totodile I captured yesterday. I'd be willing to sell it, if you are interested.
Meanwhile, Stelour is once again being the vigilant one, actually spotting what Elias is missing as he taps away at his silly little machine.

Phoenix

With a sigh, Phoenix is once again on the move- Not too long after finding himself at the hotel in question, the receptionist giving an affirmative nod as Phoenix says who he is. As he receives the instructions to take the elevator to the top floor- It should be the door right in front of him. And surely enough, ringing the bell several minutes later, he has but to wait a second before the door opens- Revealing the familiar frame of Matsudo.

"Please come in- And pardon the mess. It was a rather short notice." he says, guiding Phoenix inside, though he hardly notices a "mess". The suite seems to largely consist out of a single, large room, a window giving a beautiful view to the city outside, and the mountains towards the north. If anything were to be "messy" though, it'd be the man's pokemon. Two humanoid forms lay long in the sofa, watching a large screen television. One of them seems to have green hair, and what appears to be a dress. The other is what would most aptly be described as wearing a red hat, with puffed up pants in red and yellow color.

Towards the corner of the room, near the window floats another figure that had turned curiously to Phoenix as he entered the room- But the half moon seems not intent to move from it's spot. Finally, a yellow, mustache'd pokemon seems to be in the kitchen and... Cooking something? Being watched by another floating, rather odd pokemon. Having colorful wings, but much too small for it to be it's only method of flight- Otherwise having runes all over it's body, and what appears to be a third eye sticking out of the top of his head.

"I presume you're here about my offer? Did your friends explain what it was, or do you wish for me to go over it again?"

(Assuming Phoenix asks for an explanation, he pretty much says what was said here)

Tyke

Tyke, nervous at first, let's it all out in a commanding, impressive display. She is then immediately escorted outside as Crackle kills someone in the rafters. Retreating for a moment, sick, the other participants introduce themselves- First coming the guy with the sunglasses. Lowering his shades for a moment, he and his partner- A totodile, inspect the audience- Somehow managing to come off cool.

"Sup. The name' Joe- And me and my totodile Rex are gonna blow your socks off!"

Following that is the girl Ivy- Introducing herself and her Grotle, Shell- She doesn't pull off the introduction as well as either Joe or her follower, Kay though- As he introduces his poliwag, Fisty. Even after all that though, it's clear that Tyke had blown away the competition with her performance!

"Thank you all for the wonderful introductions! Initial judging is complete, and we now move on towards the appeal stages. There will be 6 in total. Good luck, and dazzle us with your coolness!"

James

"Is that what you told him? That it was just a plant? That plant just nearly destroyed him. Why? Why did you think it was a good idea to go along with this? Your research nearly killed him, and put him under that plant's control."
"Woah, don't blame me for this! You don't blame the doctor when the patient refuses to take his meds. Or not run away from the surgery that was supposed to prevent this, but same thing. Besides, it wasn't even me to propose the idea in the first place."
"I am going to find a way to brig him back. There must be a way."

"Hey-" The doctor interrupts as James is leaving. "For what it's worth... You're probably on the right track that we'll need... Magic, of some sort. Not really the right term, but that's what anyone would call it. Though I doubt that just praying would do the job."

Following that, after exiting James calls the pokecenter with a question. But it seems the only answer, after waiting some time, is a confused "...What?"

Irene
Irene starts out strong against what is revealed to be a sentret- Hitting it hard with a feint attack, before it curls itself up defensively.

Rythem(16)
sentret(2) injured, curled up

Koa

"Um, sure! I have some time yet. I'd appreciate it!"
"Well, my parents aren't home at the moment, so no big deal for me either! What're you having? Soda, juice..?"

After grabbing a bottle of whatever Koa requests, she takes a glass for both her and him- As she sets in the table of the overall rather cramped room- The kitchen sets against one wall, the table takes up most of the room. As Koa sets the box on the table, and after some hesitation she starts rummaging through it- Starting with the big clefairy doll.

"Hah, look at this dusty old thing... Hey Fable! Check this out!"

Koa turns to see what she's talking about- Surely enough, seeing an actual clefairy waddle out of one of the rooms- Sizing up the dusty old doll, seemingly a bit confused.

"That's why this was left- I got the real deal once I was old enough." she says, passing the smaller doll to the clefairy, before offering Koa a smile- Before starting to pull some pictures from the box.

"...Gotta admit though, looking at this stuff again I think it was a bad decision doing that."

"I'm Alice by the way. You?"

Bjorn

Bjorn goes on a shopping trip- Buying some stuff before looking for any place that could potentially fix his nets for 5 dollars for each 1 hp of damage. Before continuing on his way to the stadium...

Drake

Drake meanwhile, sends out a message to everyone to see if they're interested in joining him on a little pokemon edition- Soon having James and Alex join in.

Roll perception (anyone else want to join can still do so by next update...)

Izzy

Izzy meanwhile, has decided that contests really aren't something for her. Leaving the contest hall, she soon finds herself on the market- Putting her hat down, and pulling out her guitar, she starts to play.

Some time later, she has received some tips- Though not that much yet, it seems some people have been generous. Even then, she'd have to admit that she'd probably make more doing a job than this...Not as much fun though!

It's then however, that she notices something else among the bills and coins- A piece of parchment? Curiously, she bends over to pick it up- Unwrapping it and reading it's contents.
Come meet me in the alley behind you. And you shouldn't take your hat off- Makes you rather recognizable.

-A friend
Elias

Elias finally, is busy admiring the new addition to his team as they continue on their way- Elias once again keeping his eye out, though it seems that neither he or Stelour notice anything this time. Still a bit of time left before they get there, though...

Give me another perception roll(s)

"Please come in- And pardon the mess. It was a rather short notice."

Don't worry about it. I've seen much worse.

Phoenix tries to sneakily scan Matsudo's pokemon, not recognizing any of them, though not wanting to admit his ignorance.

"I presume you're here about my offer? Did your friends explain what it was, or do you wish for me to go over it again?"

Um, they told me what they were doing, but didn't really give me any details about it. I'd like to hear some more. As Phoenix listens to Matsudo's speech his eyes widen as he realizes that he is basically being asked to be a poke-policeman. He remembers what he was doing when the others were being asked to do this, then his eyes widen again when he realizes that Mr. Matsudo is a psychic master and is probably listening in on his thoughts right now. He focuses on Matsudo's face, trying to see if his thoughts are being listened to, and if he even cares. Assuming he doesn't, Phoenix shakily agrees to the offer.

Um, yeah, I'll do it. The waived fees might be nice. They might not seem like much to you, but every penny counts when you're a trainer. TMs and ultra balls aren't cheap, you know?

Furrowing her brow, Izzy quickly glances around, as if expecting to see the person who dropped the note just standing there in front of her. Snatching up her hat and pulling it low on her head after depositing the meager amount of cash she got into her bag, the girl stands up and surreptitiously slips down the alleyway beside her. Followed closely by the silently flapping Kay, who seems eager to reclaim her spot on the hat.

As her Noibat settles back on her head, Izzy limps carefully down the darkened alley, her eyes peeled for the mysterious note-leaver. With each step the surrounding wind begins to silently pick up speed, ready to lift her up and away into the air at the first sign of danger or trouble.

"...hello? Who's there?"

Koa sits himself at the table and takes a swig of his soda. As a chef that fusses over nutrition on a daily basis, it's nice to partake in wholly unhealthy foodstuffs once in a while!

"...Gotta admit though, looking at this stuff again I think it was a bad decision doing that."
"Hehe, yeah people say that they don't need these things to remember stuff, but it's still nice to have something around to remind us. At least that's what my mom and grandparents tell me, and they've seen a lot of house fires."

"I'm Alice by the way. You?"
"I'm Koa!" he greets with a friendly grin.

"Anyway, sorry for dumping more stuff in your place - doesn't seem like there's much room in here. I didn't know you'd said to leave it. And when I saw the kid's toy, I didn't know the kid it belonged to had grown up already, haha!"

"Hmm, I'm not sure if there are any near the city, but some do live in grasslands and forest if I remember correctly.. If I get my hands on a fairy pokemon and succesfully make a deal with a pokemon center I might be able to get a happiny egg, though that takes about a month.. Guess we should head for the lake then and hope for the best along the way?"

Having bought 6 pokeballs, a paralyze heal, an awakening and found a place to repair his nets, Bjorn now makes his way to the Stadium to scope out the setting of the tournament and find temporary work.

He keeps his eye open for any trainers looking to battle in the vicinity, knowing it would be preferable to have Spark catch up to the level of his other pokemon.

Elias

Elias continues on his way- Mostly dallying while Stelour does his best to keep an eye out. It hence comes to no surprise to anyone when she tugs on Elias's clothing once more- Once again pointing down a alley they passed. Though as Elias turns to looks what she means, he spots... Nothing. Either whatever Elias wanted to point out already ran off into one of the side alleys- Or he's being really unobservant right now.

Drake, James, Alex

The party is soon underway, heading towards the lake. Heading along the road until they meet the river, for a large part their journey is undisturbed. Eventually though, Drake, James and Ghos hear a particular sound... Like... Sobbing?

Cautiously approaching the source, they eventually spot what appears to be an almost mushroom-like pokemon- It's green hair capped like one, two red spikes sticking out- As the little figure waddles from tree to tree, seemingly frantically looking for something.

Irene

Rythem rushes in with an uproar, but fails to really get past it's curled up defenses- In return however, it misses with an attack of furious swipes.

Rythem(16)

Phoenix
"Um, they told me what they were doing, but didn't really give me any details about it. I'd like to hear some more."

Following this, Phoenix gets the low-down of what the intention of being a league trainer is. Thinking about just what he was doing at the time the others signed up- Immediately remembering Matsudo is psychic and might be listening in. And surely enough, soon as he pays attention to the fact he notices a... Presence, of some sort. Which disappears as soon as he notices, as if caught. However, through it Matsudo doesn't give a hitch- Either having the best pokerface and not giving a damn, or it not being him who was listening.

"Um, yeah, I'll do it. The waived fees might be nice. They might not seem like much to you, but every penny counts when you're a trainer. TMs and ultra balls aren't cheap, you know?"
"...Not the exact motivation I was looking for, but considering the situation good enough. Just don't abuse the privilege, and you'll be fine."

"I'll have you registered in a moment. In the meantime, I anticipated that you'd accept- I got something for you and your friends."

Moving over to one of the desks, he quickly pulls out a bunch of what look like... Little plaques of some kind? As he gets a better look, he quickly realizes what they are- Badges.

"League trainer badges... For you to show if you believe to be in a situation that warrants it or to prove your position. I'll assume you'll be meeting with your friends today or tomorrow at least..? If so, could you do me a favor and deliver theirs as well? Each one is named and registered." he says- Taking a look over to the kitchen, an excited alakazam waving over with a spoon- The sigilyph levitating what seems to be a biscuit straight into it's mouth.

"...Also Ib made biscuits and wonders if you want one."

Izzy

Looking around nervously, Izzy quickly snatches up her hat- Deciding to check out the alley behind her, ready to escape in a moment, as Kay nestles on her hat and nestles itself in anticipation as well. Slowly entering the alley, though... There's no one there?

Not sure to trust the situation, Izzy is looking just about ready to leave again- As suddenly, in a small flash of light, something appears in front of her. Soon she finds herself looking down on a rather tall totem-like bird. As it extends a wing out to Izzy, as if for her to grab onto.

Koa

"Hehe, yeah people say that they don't need these things to remember stuff, but it's still nice to have something around to remind us. At least that's what my mom and grandparents tell me, and they've seen a lot of house fires."
"Geeze, how so? You lived somewhere with a lot of fire pokemon or something?"

"I'm Koa! Anyway, sorry for dumping more stuff in your place - doesn't seem like there's much room in here. I didn't know you'd said to leave it. And when I saw the kid's toy, I didn't know the kid it belonged to had grown up already, haha!"

"Hah, yeah- Grew up in this stunning girl, eh?" she says with a smirk. "My grandparents once told me a story that, like... Way in pre-war times, somewhere nearby where this city now stands there was the fountain of youth? Not really making one immortal or something, but the water was said to have healing properties and do all kinds of good stuff. It's why some people say that there's more fairies around this area than most! And that the girls are pretty. Not that I'm just being smug, of course." she says with a cheekish smile, before turning to a slightly more sombre tone.

"But... Yeah. Guess that's why we left it behind- Not really much room here... I guess we can't complain though. League does what it can- This is far better than not having a place to sleep at all."

"Still... I was thinking, maybe I could try and join the tournament tomorrow with Fable here. That'd open up some options. I just... I don't know. Even if I'd get a license, I'm not really sure if I want to spend the rest of my life working for the league you know? Tried this Wednesday, but ran for it with that attack. Heard some lucky bastards still got a license? Eh..."

Bjorn

Having finished his shopping spree, Bjorn finishes to the journey- Finding that, indeed, they're preparing for beginning work on the final preparations- Though at this time it seems to be merely an assembly, waiting until the "deadline" before starting to dish out the jobs. Signing himself in as a league trainer- A quick check on a computer clearing him after he fails to show a badge, he's soon guided inside. He finds that a surprising amount of the people inside aren't actually trainers. More than enough are though, and one is willing to give him a challenge.

(How many pokemon and who are you intending to use? Leveling spark I presume..?)

"...Not the exact motivation I was looking for, but considering the situation good enough. Just don't abuse the privilege, and you'll be fine."

I'm not really the policeman type, as I'm sure you can tell. Phoenix motions to his shabby clothing. I'm not just going to sit by and let people get possessed, but I'm not going to go out and stop robberies. This is just to save me a bit of money, and to help me not get in trouble if I do end up having to mess anybody up. Don't worry though, I only do that if I have a really good reason.

"I'll have you registered in a moment. In the meantime, I anticipated that you'd accept- I got something for you and your friends."

Yeah, I'll deliver them. I guess we should meet up a little more often now that we're League Trainers and all.

"...Also Ib made biscuits and wonders if you want one."

Phoenix looks at the scene in the kitchen. Um, sure. I never turn down free food. Despite just eating a full meal and then some, Phoenix stuffs a few biscuits in his mouth and, if Ib and Matsudo are ok with it, he stuffs a few in his pockets for his pokemon.

"Geeze, how so? You lived somewhere with a lot of fire pokemon or something?"
"Well my family came from Hamachi island, a place where all the women shoot fire and all the men make stone. See look-," he says, holding out a hand for a demonstration. He clenches his hand and takes a moment to concentrate... and pretty soon his hand develops a coarse, rocky texture. He relaxes his hand then and opens it, dropping some pebbles onto the table as his skin fades back to normal.
"Everyone starts developing their powers a few years after being born, and mostly everyone has a good handle on their powers by the time they reach seven or eight years old. That handful of years though, when you're a little kid and just learning?" He shakes his head and smiles. "I smashed my fair share of windows and furniture growing up, and my grandparents say my mom was a little pyro. Most fires over there are caused by families with little girls."

"Hah, yeah- Grew up in this stunning girl, eh?" she says with a smirk.
"You said it, not me," he gives a friendly grin back.

Not that I'm just being smug, of course."
"Hm! I hadn't really heard much about that. But then, my family's not from around here, so I just know some Islander myths. Like, back in the day, the big central volcano on the island threatened to go off big enough to destroy the whole island, and my ancestors prayed to the Gods to save them. That's when a great big pokemon burst out of the volcano and said to everyone, 'you want to stop this? I'll give you the power to do it, but you gotta save yourselves.' And so he did, the islanders fought the volcano, and... they won!"

"But...
Eh..."

"Well... not so much lucky, so much as we stuck around to help fight the ghosts," Koa says as he pulls out his license and Pokedex to show Alice, with a proud grin "and League guys gave us these as a reward!"
"It's not that bad, really. Like, I think they can call on you for big emergencies, but usually how it works is if someone has a problem that they need a Trainer's help with, they put up a notice on this little job board," he explains as he shows her that particular application on his Pokedex. "Then you can choose to accept it, and if you complete the job then you get paid a commission. Or you can choose not to accept it. Like, yesterday a bunch of friends of mine went off to do a couple jobs, but I spent the day at the market selling food. And now there's not really any jobs on here that interest me, so I was gonna go try out one of those Beauty-typed contests," he declares, with a slightly abashed grin.

"So yeah, if you wanna go for it, go for it! It's not all that bad being a League Trainer."

"Er... what?" Elias asks as he stares down the alley Stelour was gesturing toward. "I don't see anything... c'mon, Stelour, we don't want to be late!" With that, Elias continues on toward the stadium. Stelour can only facepaw in frustration at her master's obliviousness before following after.

Phoenix

"I'm not really the policeman type, as I'm sure you can tell. I'm not just going to sit by and let people get possessed, but I'm not going to go out and stop robberies. This is just to save me a bit of money, and to help me not get in trouble if I do end up having to mess anybody up. Don't worry though, I only do that if I have a really good reason."

"...You are not exactly reaffirming my thoughs on whether or not this was a good decision. Do not make me regret this." is all Matsudo has to say on the subject, though a frown loiters on his face for a moment. Not long after however, Phoenix finds himself stuffing his face with (British) biscuits.

"Feel free to take as you want! Glad you're enjoying them." he hears as he requests to take some with him.
"Ib likes to cook, so I see no reason why you couldn't. Must be why her kind has an affinity with spoons..."

Ib gives Matsudo a roll of her eyes at the bad joke- Before Matsudo turns back to Phoenix.

"Anyways, unless you've got something to say I believe that is all..?"

James, Alex, Drake
Drake comes to the sudden, shocking realization that he decided to travel with team charm- Instantly regretting several life decisions.

James and Alex meanwhile, worry about the ralts- As the ralts finally spots the trainers, it seems to panic- Teleporting away a few meters before it continues running away- From the back of their heads, the trainers hear what is best described as a distant echo: "nooooo-"

However, it only gets a few meters further before it stumbles and trips- The two trainers approaching and announcing their non-hostile intents as they inquire as to how they could help. The little ralts gets up, for a moment freezing in it's tracks- Before dashing over to James and clinging itself to his leg, the voice in the back of their heads continuing- Weak, though clearer. "I was... I was playing hide and seek with me big bro, but I ran kinda far and forgot where I came from and... And now I dunno where bro or mama is."

Izzy

Not sure what to think of the whole situation, Izzy simply decides to play along- First quickly scanning the bird, revealing it to be a xatu, before grabbing onto it's wing.

And in a mere moment, it feels like she's pulled into a vortex- Her heart skips a beat as the bird seems to focus itself on one of the alley windows. And in a blink of the eye, for a moment she feels weightless, travelling vast distances. And then in a moment, the sensation stops- Though she quickly comes to realize she's not in the same location anymore- Now somewhere inside. It takes a moment for her to get her bearings, as the xatu folds it's wings back together again. And Izzy comes to the conclusion she's not alone anymore.

Before her stood a man, a head above her- Wearing a dented black hat and sporting a small rough beard, most of the man was concealed in a brown trench coat, stretching to just past his ankles. As a wide grin breaks out in his face- Eagerly grabbing one of Izyy's hands for a firm handshake- As meanwhile, what appears to be a thin robotic limb snakes past his collar, and tips the man's hat.

"Haha! I do apologize! It takes some time to get used to my favorite get away trick, I admit."

"Allow me to introduce myself- I'm Viktor. Viktor Krakowzki- Greatest detective to ever roam this world!"

"...Or this island at least."

"You should know your father is very worried about you, miss Gale."

Bjorn

"Hey, I have a new pokemon that could use some training, you up for a 1 on 1?"
"Sure thing. You're on!"

The pokemon his opponent sends out what Bjorn recognizes as a chubby little makuhita.

Koa
"Well my family came from Hamachi island, a place where all the women shoot fire and all the men make stone. See look-," Koa says, demonstrating some of his ability- Alice's eyes becoming wide as she sees the hand become covered in a thin layer of rock.

"Holy shit! That's awesome!"
"Everyone starts developing their powers a few years after being born, and mostly everyone has a good handle on their powers by the time they reach seven or eight years old. That handful of years though, when you're a little kid and just learning? I smashed my fair share of windows and furniture growing up, and my grandparents say my mom was a little pyro. Most fires over there are caused by families with little girls."
"Hah, yeah- That DOES make sense. Shame you didn't live with a tribe of water nomads or something as well, huh?"

She doesn't really remark on Koa's comment, if only because she was already smirking- As Koa explains the story of his island and how they attained their powers in the first place- As she nods her head in interest, saying that was one she hadn't heard yet. Before they move on to the league stuff.

"Well... not so much lucky, so much as we stuck around to help fight the ghosts, and League guys gave us these as a reward!"
"No way- You were one of them! Do you have any idea how lucky you are?!"

"I mean... Not to begin you got a license, but did you see how many ghosts were there?! What if they had swarmed you?"

"It's not that bad, really. Like, I think they can call on you for big emergencies, but usually how it works is if someone has a problem that they need a Trainer's help with, they put up a notice on this little job board. Then you can choose to accept it, and if you complete the job then you get paid a commission. Or you can choose not to accept it. And now there's not really any jobs on here that interest me, so I was gonna go try out one of those Beauty-typed contests. So yeah, if you wanna go for it, go for it! It's not all that bad being a League Trainer."

"Well... Yeah. That's how things are now. But they don't stay that way, you know? I mean, from what I heard this league trainer stuff is just a gateway to an actual league job- Give the kids some badges, see if they use them responsible, that stuff."

"I've... Done a bit of research because I was curious. The thing with most trainers is... Well, there's only very few that make the cut you know? Who actually have the skill to become a gym leader or better? For most, they kinda do this whole trainer thing for a few years and then just kinda get... Stuck? And then you'd have invested so much into all that, that, well... You don't really have another choice but work for the league, don't you? They're the only ones that actually provide jobs in that kind of avenue. But it goes a step further actually- After what may beseveral years, or less, they start charging for it. So either you end up being successful enough that those aren't too big a deal, or you work for them, and they scrap those fees. One way or another, the moment you become a trainer, sooner or later you'll end up a winning investment for the league- One way or another."

"Which... I guess isn't that bad everything considered, but still."

"Anyways- A contest you say? A beauty contest? What are you hoping to get-"

She's interrupted in her slightly mocking spiel by a sudden, at first minor but rapidly becoming louder noise- The noise of engines. Several of them- And soon you hear what might very well be a race happening straight outside the door- Accompanied by the sound of loud, excited yells.

"Oh for fucks sake, not these assholes again."

Opening up some of the curtain slightly, Koa manages to sneak a peek together with her at what's going on outside- A motorcycle gang making drifting circles around the little park midst the housing- The poor unfortunate elder couple in the middle huddling closer together as the bikers seem to have them circled, laughing all the while.

"Ugh. Just ignore them-" she says, shutting the blinds again. "They're just a bunch of punks that think they're cool and can get away with anything, but they're cowards- They'll be gone in a bit because they don't want to risk that some officers get here to see this ruckus they're causing."

"So... Contest?"
she says- Trying to ignore the thundering noise outside to her best abilities.

Irene

Deciding that Rythem isn't doing much against the defensible sentret, Irene opts to switch- Sending out Ochrana out next, or, well... It floats in from the sidelines, presumably not wanting to stay in the ball without reason. Seems her opponent realizes that's not an ideal matchup as well though- As he sends out a pokemon she recognizes as a duskull.

Ochrana(20)
Rythem(16)
duskull(5)
sentret(2) injured

Elias
Stelour is left with a facepaw as Elias simply continues- Completely blank on the pokemon he presumably missed out on. It shouldn't be long now.

(You want to try finding a pokemon one more time, or do a 1v1 at the tournament? Or are you fine with waiting till Bjorn finishes his 1v1?)
