James, Bjorn, Alex

Following the revelation of James evolution, discussing what this might mean in the future- As Drake follows with a revelation of his own, explaining the events of yesterday.
Hearing this, James decides he needs to visit Genesome for more than one reason. While Drake has other matters to do, he is accompanied by Bjorn who still has to arrange the sale as well. James, announcing his intent to see Mr. Detrou has no issue being allowed to take the elevator to the next floor. The man waiting expectantly as they both enter.

"We need to talk. It is about Zack."

The businessman raises an eyebrow at the request- After a short moment wafting a hand in the air, as if to inquire him to continue.

Drake

Drake meanwhile, taking care of the egg, finds it to be doing fine- Though it'll be a little while before it's gonna hatch... Before he goes on a search for a portable planter- However, while a portable planter would probably be stocked in some stores, the apricorn he'd need for planting would be an entirely different story. And hence he goes searching for a specialist store- Eventually finding one under the name of "Zeke's custom poke-balls", as announced by the sign above the front store. An additional sign under it boldly stating "Also applying seals!"

Entering, the store front is rather small- Only the bare minimum that is needed for the customers, the rest of the shop an open workspace. As the shopkeeper, noticing Drake's arrival, steps up from tinkering with what appears to be a few mechanical parts to come over to the desk. The tall man, eyes slightly sleazy and sporting a small goatee smiling down at Drake.

"Pleasure. How can I help you? Searching for that pokeball you need to make that one capture?" He says- Giving the glass counter beneath him a quick tap to put attention to the many different pokeball on display there.

Phoenix
Following being so rudely awoken, the aipom gets a bit more cocky as Phoenix continues to ignore it at first- Eventually even getting right next to him, for a brief moment it seeming like the aipom actually cares.

...Before it decides to try and slap him awake, that is.

Now more than awake, Phoenix is also more than pissed- Quickly having Spark nuzzle the aipom, as the aipom grabs a bunch of dirt behind it and throws it in the emolga's face, temporarily blinding him!

Spark(14)
Aipom(8/15) paralyzed lightly injured, running away

And then, of course, the little fucker starts running- Still being just as fast, if not faster as himself!

Koa
Koa, going through his morning ritual, eventually finds himself all ready for an adventure! Opening the job board however, it seems that while the board has most certainly rotated, most of the job board is once again not really appealing- Most once again being "technical" jobs, not really suited to his skill. Tech or mundane jobs mostly. There are a whole bunch of still "open" applications at the stadium though- Seemingly in preparation for the big event tomorrow. A few of those offering to help play the role of organizer or guard... Though it'd seem more likely he'd want to be a contestant rather than that. None the less, while most of the stadum jobs do seem a bit "mundane", it also seems likely there'll be other trainers there. And hence, he could probably get in a few practice matches for his pokemon.

Irene, Tyke

"Good morning Grandmother, good morning dad. I'm going to be spending the day safely in town. Any chores you'd like me down in the city?"

"We'll be fine dearie! You have a good day, but take some breakfast first. I got bacon and eggs coming, and there's jelly and such on the table if you'd rather have that."

"Do me a favor and eat some eggs though- Don't want too much waste..." dad idly comments, taking a sip of coffee as he continues reading his newspaper. Giving a brief nod to Tyke and Izzy as they both enter and partake in the breakfast as well. During which, they quickly look up the contest times- Finding out that the cool contest will start at 10.30 am. So that'd probably give them just enough time to go and collect Irene's amaura before heading to the contest.

"...What'd you do to your leg there?" his dad suddenly speaks up midway through breakfast, having put his paper beside as the bacon and eggs were served. Irene for a moment must have become white as snow- Before realizing he was looking at Izzy.

Then again... That might not be much better.

James sighs. "I know that you applied a mind controlled fungus to him, just so that he would be the same as the wild pokemon, and that the fungus seemed to control him and is sentient enough to make him flee.

Mr. Deatou you told me that you were out to benefit mankind and to find a cure for diseases and to enhance life. How does this enhance life when you drive a man insane with poisoning him with the fungus? If it were me as a paras insteadI would have ended up just like him. If you don't plan on trying to infect me with the fungus now.

Mr. Deatou? I wish to speak with Zack. "

Irene does pale for a moment before recovering her compusure. Rythem and her had gone on several adventures while younger. Her grandmother knows what really happens on those, but she always gave a slightly altered version for her father. "You see father, pardoning my interruption. Because of the fiasco at the tournament the new trainers were allowed to keep a pokemon from the ones we picked. During the selection process I fell in love with the Amuara." Irene says while bringing up a picture on the pokedex to show her family. "Aren't they gorgeous? But since they're fossil pokemon the league couldn't afford to just give him away for free, so I had to pay a $1500 as well. To raise the money my Tyke, and a few others took a job we found about returning pokemon who broke in a building to the wild. The group I talked to was peaceful, but the group she was in, ended up having to use more physical methods to restrain them, and during the scuffle she hit her leg. It really is minor, and like you heard we're planning on entering contests today." and with that she attempts to shift the conversation to something totally different. "I know it isn't exactly what is considered cool, but what do you think of the cyan blue dress, with the ruffles at the bottom, and my hair curled, or should I go with the emerald green dress and put my hair up in a bun? oh oh, maybe the silver ballroom one with a shawl?" adrenalin and experience prove to be very effective, or maybe dresses just bore him 3d6+4=20 ap boosted

Cris, get him! Not content to let Cris have all the glory, Phoenix chases after Andy, grabbing him and pushing him into the ground. Good thing too, as Cris is either too sleepy or too apathetic to do much more than take a few weary steps toward the aipom.

Koa frowns at the lack of notable jobs. That was disappointing. Perhaps Koa should have went with the others yesterday? Nothing for it now, he supposed.

He picks up $700 in fresh ingredients from the market. After that he will... go back to the demolition site? He hadn't really made plans today beyond 'do League work', but now that that was out the window he may as well follow up on what he said to that guy yesterday - find out where the family that lived there is now to see if they have a young child to give a toy back to.

Midway through filling her mouth with bacon, the question about her leg catches Izzy completely by surprise by. Fortunately though, before she can blow everything with an awkwardly atrocious lie about falling up some stairs or something, Irene butts in and answers for her.

"Uhh....yeah. What she said...."

Assuming no further questions, Izzy then finishes her breakfast and, after thanking Irene's family, heads off into the city. Finding a quiet spot somewhere down a side street, she lets out all her 'mons, having been too tired to do so the night before. With the natural exception of Kay, who spent the night hanging from the light above Izzy's bed, and was already in position on top of the girl's hat.

"Hey guys, great work yesterday! You were all amazing!!! Especially you, Maku - those punches were....erm......"
Her sentence trailing off, Izzy looks down in confusion as she realises that there was one too many Pokemon at her feet....before suddenly remembering (and recognizing) the Totodile she'd caught the day before! Between all the stuff about mech's and her sore leg, she'd completely forgotten about the little guy! And it seemed the croc was equally confused, as he glances the weird collection of creatures surrounding him, plainly having no idea how he ended up in this strange place.

"Err...hi?"

Seemingly only just noticing Izzy's presence, the Totodile opens up and snaps his jaws at her in warning, but he's quite clearly only doing it in a half-hearted manner - it looks like, without his friends there to back him up, he isn't really that interested in being aggressive. If anything he seems pretty intimidated by the creepy bats and spiky grass thing glaring at him, as he scoots over and hides behind the cuddly and friendly-looking Maku.
"Aww....listen, I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday. But you and your friends were somewhere you shouldn't be, and some people were getting real angry about it. Don't worry though - we moved all your friends back to the lake, and even took care of the scary metal things that chased you away! So I'm sure they'll all be fine now."

Despite seemingly understanding that Izzy means him no harm, the Totodile appears to be unwilling to come out from behind Maku, much to the Makuhita's obvious bewilderment. Laughing, Izzy crouches down and slowly reaches out a hand towards the Pokemon....only to pull it back rapidly as she gets lightly nipped on the finger!
"Ow! Heh, alright, alright, no touching.....I think I'll call you Snaps. You like that name?"

Taking the following hesitant jaw snap as a yes, Izzy goes back to praising her other 'mons on their fighting abilities, before recalling everyone except Kay and setting off into town. Following her promise to the nurse not to go running around in the wild again, she considers her options.....before remembering that Irene mentioned something about a contest....?

Seeing that the Contest is so soon, Tyke will see if she might have enough time to Dash to Her Dad's Studio and Change clothes, getting up in a rush. If she can, she will bolt away. If she figures out she can't, she'll just sit and stay through Izzy and Irene's Lies...

As Elias blearily comes to, he notices a pressure on his chest. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Elias brings his head up, making out two emeralds within a red and black shape that appeared to be crouched on his sternum, a purple shape and a bluish-white shape off to each side. "Buh... whaz goin' on?'

A low growl reached his ears, causing him to prop himself up as he instantly hit full alertness. "Whoa, easy! Take it easy, I don't know what's gotten into you guys-"

There's another low growl. This time fully awake, Elias realizes that the growl came not from Stelour, as he had initially expected, but from Eleare. Pausing, Elias watched as Eleare stared at him, another growl echoing from his... stomach?

"...ooooh, I forgot to feed you guys yesterday, didn't I?" Elias says with dawning realization. "Okay, I'm sorry, I'll get you your food. I didn't mean to keep you waiting... but you got to get off my chest first, okay, Stelour?"

"Ri," The riolu replies grumpily. Without much further ado, Elias gets up and proceeds to feed his starving pokemon, whilst also discovering the breakfast left for him. As everyone eats (including him), Elias opens up the note from management, already getting an idea of what it was going to include.

James, Bjorn

"I know that you applied a mind controlled fungus to him, just so that he would be the same as the wild pokemon, and that the fungus seemed to control him and is sentient enough to make him flee.

Mr. Deatou you told me that you were out to benefit mankind and to find a cure for diseases and to enhance life. How does this enhance life when you drive a man insane with poisoning him with the fungus? If it were me as a paras insteadI would have ended up just like him. If you don't plan on trying to infect me with the fungus now."

"...I know that who-ever told you about Zacharie, either didn't do a good job or you completely misinterpreted it. We did not apply the fungus to Zacharie in an attempt to make him the same, mister Zora. In fact, the reason that we had no baseline for experiments, due to his odd form, is the reason that we accepted your application."

"The goal of the experiment was not to make the fungus a part of him. The goal of the experiment was to monitor how the fungus would react to something that is not it's usual host- The greater goal being to determine the actual differences between what the researchers have called the poketrophes and the actual pokemon in question."

"However, be it his own paranoia or the fungus, he ran off and allowed the condition to spread far beyond the limitations we had first agreed on. We were perfectly sure that we could operate him with little issue, and he had the opportunity to bow out at every step. In fact, when we said we would be operating on him to remove the fungus, we were technically in fault- He refused the operation to remove the fungus, and by law we may technically not enforce such a thing. However, we believed at that time his mind may already have been adled somewhat, even without the fungus actually having reached his brain... My scientists theorized the fungus was releasing chemicals to influence his thoughts that way. But that would imply a higher degree of intelligence and perception than a regular paras's... Condition would have, so I dismissed it at the time."

"...You do not cure a disease by investigating the healthy mister Zora. We may have been the ones to start this, but it was his own actions which brought him where he is now. And rest assured, we have no intention of doing anything the likes to you. It wouldn't even work, for starters."

"Awkward.....Um, I know nothing of this. I just accompanied James here as he commissioned me to catch some pokemon for you, which I have, and was wondering about an exchange of the pokemon for some remuneration."

"Ah, yes- My assistant will take care of that. If you wish you may enter the elevator right now- There's a transfer machine in one of the labs that'll be used to complete the deal." the director offers- The elevator waiting for Bjorn should he choose to leave immediately, as James continues his tirade.

"Mr. Deatou? I wish to speak with Zack. "

"...I'm afraid that's not possible."

"Halfway through the operation last night the fungus turned... Hostile. Spraying spores at the present staff, but worse... It attacked Zacharie. I would almost say that it was thinking if it's going down he's coming with it, but..."

"Regardless... He's not going to wake for a while. And I'm afraid my scientists fear he never might. And if he does... He won't be the same person anymore."

Irene, Tyke, Izzy

"You see father, pardoning my interruption. Because of the fiasco at the tournament the new trainers were allowed to keep a pokemon from the ones we picked. During the selection process I fell in love with the Amuara." Irene begins, his father seemingly wondering where she's going with this.

It really is minor, and like you heard we're planning on entering contests today."

"Uhh....yeah. What she said...."

A deep frown appears on her father's face- For a moment it looks like he's about to say something- As Irene immediately continues about the contests.

"I know it isn't exactly what is considered cool, but what do you think of the cyan blue dress, with the ruffles at the bottom, and my hair curled, or should I go with the emerald green dress and put my hair up in a bun? oh oh, maybe the silver ballroom one with a shawl?"

"Oh, I do like the emerald green!"

"...Yeah. That's a nice one." her father says, seeming to give in to the contest hype. Tyke meanwhile, quickly finishes, before rushing to her father's studio- Figuring she should have just enough time to get some other clothes, before heading for the contest. Irene doing a similar thing, though heading for the mayor's office for her Amaura. Izzy likely joining one of them as, after introducing herself to the new member of the party, she seems interested in this "contest" dealio just as much as either of them...

Drake

"Not quite what I had in mind actually"

"Ah, looking for some seals then? Most of them are re-formatable, so always nice to have that little edge."

"Even though it is a nice quality. I've actually been looking for a place to get a planter and an apricorn plant and sadly the regular plant shops didn't have any apricorn plants to sell. So I'm trying my luck here. You shouldn't by any chance have one that I could buy?"

"Ah... Now, suppose I can help you with that! How bout you join me for a minute..." He says- Momentarily opening a small gate for him to pass through, leading him through the cluttered workshop to a door in the back- Opening it to reveal what appears to be a small indoor area, several trees of which some are bearing apricorns set in batches of tilled ground on tables reaching to around your hips- Bright lights in the ceiling seeming to substitute the sunlight.

"Sorry for the mess. Let me turn that down for a bit..." he says, turning a dial on the wall as the lights dim a bit, before grabbing a watering can, continuing to water the apricorns as he continues.

"Used to be massive trees, these things- But several decades of genetic manipulation, and now we got these cute little pygmy trees. Still find the occasional big apricorn tree in the wild though. Anyways... I usually directly convert these apricorns once they're ready, so let's see if any of these are ripe. If not, suppose I can keep one apart till ye make a second visit..." He says, continuing his quick watering and inspection- Passing most apricorns which don't appear ripe just yet, though he eventually stops.

"Ah- These black ones appear ripe- As do the red ones over there. So you want em? I usually charge 800 for the finished product, so... 700?"

Koa
Seeing that there's nothing that really interests him, Koa decides to go on a different kind of adventure- Heading back to the place he had visited yesterday, finding it much more active than yesterday- Though probably not as active as it could be, most of the workers seeming mostly lounging around, not fully "at work" yet- A few of the workers seeming to be "investigating" the mysterious hole that has appeared to magically appeared overnight... As one of the workers takes notice of Koa.

"Hey- Whaddya want kid?"

Phoenix
(Check my post in OOC- Grapple is a combat maneuver)

Alex

Deciding someone should probably report what happened yesterday, Alex goes over to the leaugue office- Once inside, an officer jane addressing him.

"Yes? How may I help you?"

Elias

Elias meanwhile, has a little issue with a pokemon rebellion the following morning- Soon realizing he forgot to feed them! Quickly fixing his mistake, his pokemon are soon once again content. He himself enjoys breakfast, as he opens up the note of management- Having a hunch what might be inside.

"Yes? How may I help you?"
"Hi. I was out in the forest yesterday, and encountered a situation which... Well, I thought others should at least be made aware of. A man had machines out and about which imitated pokemon, and while he claimed they were intended to map out the area, it seems his machines had been harassing wild pokemon and chasing them away from their territory. On top of that, he seemed... Somewhat suspicious, and one of his machines was rather heavily armed and armoured, to be involved in a mapping task. I didn't really receive much of a briefing about being a League trainer, and we were actually told to avoid trouble so... Well, all I can really think to do about it is get word about it out, so that somebody more capable can decide if there's a problem."

"You knew the fungus was mind affecting to paras. But you applied to him anyways. Now because of you, you could have caused many people to suffer the fungus because now it has agumented itself for human dna. You did not even try to think it through.

DO NOT blame this on him. This is your and your scientists undoing. Did you even care to explain to him in terms he could understand that the fungus controls a paras/parasect before he signed? Considering how I got into this experiment I bet you did not.

Why on the earth would you want to know how it reacts to a human host? That is not right. This makes it right for you to infect someone with mind control fungus?! So that you can see the effects?

What do you think would happen Mr. Deatrou when you infected him with that fungus? That he would be okay? Why don't you just infect him or me with pokerus or rabies or whathave you to see the effects? If intentionally infecting people with anthrax, or rabies is wrong then so is this. It is also illegal, even if they agreed to be subjects to it.

If I was in his position I probably would be the one infected with the fungus. Unable to have my own free will.

And I want to at least see him. If he is unconcious he poses no threat. I think....I know a way to fix him by basically using magic to replace the fungus with fey magic or maybe try to pray to Arceus to heal him of the fungus and repair the damage you done to him.

You betrayed my trust, Mr. Deatrou and Zack's free will."

"Mr. deatrou I know that you are trying to find a cure for serious diseases, but this is too extreame. If you wanted a baseline why did you not capture a paras to remove it's fungus or waited for your next subject? What could you have gained from that that you did not gain from studing me that justifies putting the fungus there in the first place?

I doubt that Zack knew what you were doing to him, to infect him with a fungus that controlled Paras. I doubt if he was correctly informed what it might do to him that he would agree to such a thing. PleSe do not blame him for what your scientists did and should have known better.

I cannot trust your scientists ever again with these matters, for all I know the fungus could have made itself able to infect humans and you caused a lot more problems than what you have so far.

I stillwish to see Zack, even if he is unconcious. I think I know a way to fix him."

Drake considers the offer a bit, briefly considering to wait for a green one, but decides he could alway get one later if he got the money for it.
"That sounds like a good deal, I'll take a black one."
Thanking and paying the guy, Drake will head out to get the planter and plant it right away. After that he'll try to see if he can find a place to get a mental herb which he'll grow on the parasect and find a salt stone for Ghos (not sure what that would cost).

Once he finds everything needed he will head to a park and release all his pokemon to chill with them for a bit before figuring out what to do.

as a veil of new awareness blossoms in her mind Irene quickly checks the times for the cute contest.
She lets out her small team of pokemon feeding them as she changes into the emeraled dress for the contest. Opting to leave her hair down for now she leaves the house with Rythem, and Ochrana Behind her, as she goes to purchase the Amaura.
"Ok, I'm not sure if they were around in your time, but I'm planning on entering you into a pokemon contest today. You will not be hurt, and should help build trust between us."

If she needs to get to the cute contest she'll head there first before getting the Amaura.

Phoenix

Rushing after the aipom, Phoenix barely manages to grab onto it- And restrain it! For now, at least, though the aipom doesn't seem too phased- Trying to struggle free but failing, it instead settles for... Tickling phoenix.

Phoenix(13) -1DEF/ATT
Aipom(8/15) paralyzed lightly injured, grappled

Koa
"Hi! Uh, so there was a fire here, yeah? Well I was wondering if you guys knew where the family was staying? I wanted to give them a little something, help them out a little."

"Uh... Yeah- I think my boss knows where they are. HEY DAVE! DAVE!"

"Dave" rapidly rushes over hearing the cries- His smaller stature seeming to betray him being more of a coordinator than one of the heavy lifters, though still strapped in the same safety gear and hardhat.

"What's the matter?"

"Kid wants to know where the previous tenants of this place went. Got something to give them or something?"

"Ah. Well, I don't have the address on hand but let me think... They were moved up to the community housing north. Can't recall the exact address unless I do some snooping, since it's not really stuff I have to keep track of anyways... But I'm sure that if you'll ask around there it won't take long for you to track them down."

"Anyways move along- We're already an hour over time trying to figure out if we should report a break-in to the league..."

Alex
""Hi. Well, all I can really think to do about it is get word about it out, so that somebody more capable can decide if there's a problem.""

"That does seem mildly suspicious... Do you have any proof or information about this man? A description perhaps?"

James
"Mr. deatrou I know that you are trying to find a cure for serious diseases, but this is too extreme. If you wanted a baseline why did you not capture a paras to remove it's fungus or waited for your next subject? What could you have gained from that that you did not gain from studying me that justifies putting the fungus there in the first place?"

"I already answered that question Mr. Zora. The purpose was to monitor how such an outside influence would work on the poketrophe form in comparison with the actual pokemon. Doing the experiment on a pokemon would be useless, as the whole intent of the experiment is to know the reaction of the poketrophe- We already know that of the pokemon."

"The reason this was chosen, rather than other options such as a pokerus is because the fungus would have been very clear and easy to monitor, and immediately treatable- Had we done something different, the experiment would likely not even have been an option except if it were to occur out of our control, considering we could not provide the same service in any other circumstance."

"I doubt that Zack knew what you were doing to him, to infect him with a fungus that controlled Paras. I doubt if he was correctly informed what it might do to him that he would agree to such a thing. PleSe do not blame him for what your scientists did and should have known better."

"It was made very clear to Mr. Ichor what the experiment entailed. Admittedly, my scientists did not believe the plant would have much influence over him until it's later stages, and told him as such. And that may very well have been the case- For all we know, it was only his own paranoia that made him run away and turned his controlled condition into something we could not fully recover."

"I cannot trust your scientists ever again with these matters, for all I know the fungus could have made itself able to infect humans and you caused a lot more problems than what you have so far."

"With all due respect Mr. Zora, if you think that's a thing that could actually happen, you've watched too much sci-fi horror movies... What category do those kind of movies even fall under..."

"I still wish to see Zack, even if he is unconcious. I think I know a way to fix him."

"Hm. Very well. I suppose that can be arranged."

"I believe my scientists might need to take a look at you as well, Mr. Zora."

"Did you... Evolve?"

Bjorn

Deciding he wants nothing to do with what might be an oncoming verbal battle, Bjorn rushes to the elevator- The elevator once again opens and closes automatically, bringing itself in motion. Going down this time, except now you appear to be going further than the entrance level. Considerably further, even. As eventually the lift comes to a stop, and the door slides open. Revealing a long modern hallway, almost looking like something you'd find in a very modern hospital. And what can only be described as a natural beauty in front of him- With a voluptuous figure, an elegant white dress both only accenting this fact while still being more on the formal, classy side. She offers Bjorn a wide smile as he exits the elevator.

"You must be the one who's captured the requested pokemon. Follow me please."

Swaying around, her long blonde hair has a slight flick as she escorts Bjorn to one of the rooms on the end of the hallway- Seeming to sport many machines related to pokemon, including to what appear to be several modified healing machines- However, in the midst of the room stood a machine which held up to 6 open spots for pokeballs- A trading machine.

"If you could please insert the requested pokemon?"

Drake

"That sounds like a good deal, I'll take a black one."

"Perfect..." The man says, taking off one of the apricorns with a gentle tug- Passing the surprisingly hard and heavy fruit- Nut? to Drake.

"Let's just quickly check this off at the register and we'll be done... Thanks! If you ever change your mind bout those seals, make sure to visit!"

Following this, Drake continues on his shopping spree- Eventually deciding to visit the open market, managing to find a mental herb there for the regular price- As well as a small salt stone treat for Ghos for 200. Before he goes to the park and takes it easy for a bit...

Irene

Irene decides she should have enough time to get the amaura transferred- Heading over to the city hall first, soon received by the jolly mayor- More than glad to hear he can have the transfer arranged. Taking the money, trying not to make too big of a deal about it (but undeniably seeming to feel a bit ashamed) a few moments later she's on her way to the contest. Her klefki seems skeptic about the whole deal, but supposes he'll go along with her silly ideas for now...

"So he understood but went with it anyways? Still..." James pauses "It's just so scary for something to happen to someone like you, that you could have been in the position instead.

I...I did, but Mr. deatou...I'm scared. I don't want what happened to Zack to happen to me. I know you don't normally allow someone to have a pokemon out when in the labs but... Can you make an exception this time?"

James seems really tense at this memt. More so than a persom should be. Of course they also don't grow chitin/crystalis armour on themselves either and yet James appears to have a helment-like chitin on his head, covering his mouth and has a chitin breastplate. The armour chitin is on top of his clothing, rather than underit.

Koa thanks the men and (quickly) heads off to the community housing area. Once there he'll ask around for the family whose house burned down.

He keeps an eye on the time, making sure he won't be late for the mid-day Beauty contest. Because, strangely enough, that's the one he feels the most confident about.

"He identified himself as Tex, had some sort of humanoid robot with him, called it Hopper, and had as many files on laws as he could loaded up on it as he could manage. He also seemed to imply he was being employed by somebody with a sizeable wealth. As for appearances, I was a little addled after fighting what we had perceived as a murderous robot, so I didn't get much of a look at him. He was an older man, though, wearing some sort of aviator goggles. Maybe the others got a better look at him, next time I meet them I'll ask them to come see you if they remember anything more.
In terms of proof, well, I didn't know whether I really had the authority to confiscate any of the scraps when he was collecting them, but he decided that since my companions and I had been responsible for the destruction of one of his more important machines, he would make a portable mapper and get us to carry it around, said it would be a few days and that he'd contact... I think it was Tyke that gave him a number to call. He seemed convinced that we were incompetent, so he probably would be expecting us to hand the device over to you. Beyond that... Well, the wild pokemon toward the swamp will back my claim. I know it seems far strung, and I don't have much proof, but they wouldn't have any reason to lie, especially if it's made clear that the intent is to investigate what's been causing trouble for them."

I'm just going by the description of the guy I could find back when we met him, but if there's something I should be rolling to remember more, let me know.
