"Well," Elias says, as he folds up the note. "Looks like we're on our own from here on out." He then checks his pokedex for any potential jobs, taking note of the wanted tournament helpers as he eats his breakfast and noting what time potential candidates would have to report.

After breakfast, he decides to kick the day off properly, running a training bout in the room between his three pokemon and new addition Scouang to try and get him acclimated to the group. After that, if he's got time before assisting with tournament preparations, he looks around the city a bit to see if he can spot any interesting urban-dwelling pokemon...

As the Aipom tickles Phoenix he can't help but smile a little, but his foul mood and adrenaline help him curb the actual laughter that goes with it. Spot, Cris, Spark, get over here. Surround him! He grabs an empty pokeball from his belt and holds it over Andy's face. You want this, huh? You want to go in here? Andy flinches away from the pokeball. No, huh. Well I don't want to get hit first thing in the morning. When I say not now, I mean NOT NOW! Phoenix releases the monkey and watches him as he runs away. Phoenix wonders for a minute if he was too harsh with him, but then forgot about it. Andy would be back, he's always back. He'll put some fruit out in a couple of days if Andy hasn't come back yet.

Thanks guys. Now what to do today? Phoenix puts his hands in his pockets and feels the crumpled up check from yesterday. That's right. I forgot about this. Looks like today we eat in style. Then we should see that Matohido guy they were talking about yesterday. Phoenix walks to the bank to cash the check (giving the teller a sweet smile as he does so) then goes to find the fanciest restaurant he can, and orders a feast for each of his members, and himself. After gorging himself, he slowly walks to the town hall.

"If you could please insert the requested pokemon?"

Bjorn tugs his collar, suddenly feeling a little warm.

"Certainly ma'am, anything you ask!" he says half-dazed, placing the pokeballs of the three new pokemon in the appropriate slot.

"They will be ok, right? No wierd stuff?"

Drake puts the salt stone down, and Ghos doesn't wait too long before he enjoys himself by licking it.
In the meanwhile Drake releases Champ, and having learned a bit from the last couple of days quickly grabs the machops hands as he is about to be used as a punching bag again. Satisfied with the result he decides to find a bit of food for Champ but gets interrupted with a low kick to the back of the knee forcing him to fall on that one leg causing Drake to sigh in defeat before giving Champ some food. Followed that Drake releases the cubone feeding him as well.

He sighs as the cubone still doesn't seem to have accepted that he got captured and he knows the two mushroom pokemon are just the same. Upon release the Foongus starts complaining with a loud "foon!" but gets interupted as Drake rolls an empty pokeball over to it to hopefully get it to stay calm. The parasect on the other hand seems to be at terms with how it is and is more focused on the sun than Drake. He uses the peace as an excuse to grooming the pokemon starting with Ghos and the continuing with the most difficult ones at first. In the background Champ finally figured out what Ghos was licking and likewise wants a piece of the salt stone. It turns to a rather onesided brawl with Ghos clearly having the upper hand as none of the punches connects and Ghos taunts with his uncomfortable but harmless lick.

"So guys, you are all new to having a trainer, and perhaps even to seeing how the human society functions. As I'm sure you know, trainers captures pokemons and trains them to become better and I intend to do that. There's a tournament going tomorrow that I'm joining and I'm taking you guys in with me to prove that I've got the best pokemon. I hope you'll help me prove that you are the best during the tournament even though we haven't had much time to prepare for it. Of course everything won't just be training, we'll have time to enjoy ourself after we win the tournament tomorrow!"

After his little pep talk he'll try to convince both mushroom pokemons to give him a mushroom and get the herb planted on the parasect.

When Tyke gets to the Studio, she digs around in a nearby potted Plant to find the Key, if her Dad remembered to put it back...If not, she jiggles one of the windows in That way that makes the Lock fail and climbs in, quickly getting dressed and Rushing to the Contest Hall with Crackle Buzzing Behind and her Axe on her back.

Panting a bit when she gets there, she pauses to catch her Breath and smooth out her hair before strutting in like she owned the place and going up to the Registrar Desk. "'Sup. I'd Like to get my Special Effects Guy registered for a Contest. What we got going?"

James

"So he understood but went with it anyways? Still... It's just so scary for something to happen to someone like you, that you could have been in the position instead."

"Not really. There are no similar conditions with the caterpie line. We do not perform experiments from which we have nothing to gain..."

"I...I did, but Mr. deatou...I'm scared. I don't want what happened to Zack to happen to me. I know you don't normally allow someone to have a pokemon out when in the labs but... Can you make an exception this time?"

"You'd technically have them on you anyways, wouldn't you..?"

"...Fine, I suppose. Just keep them on a tight leash at all times. Don't want any to stray off."

Following this, James is lead down, spending some time in examination, before being escorted to this Zackarie person- A man with a chitin looking somewhat similar to your own, but orange, laying on the bed. He's motionless, and were it not for the equipment next to him giving a slow but steady heart rhytm, along with other data, you wouldn't be quite sure whether he was death or alive... Most of him covered up in bandages, and still bleeding in many spots it seems as well, judging by how the bed mattress is soaked lightly red around him. At least they took care of the room, it seems.

Koa

Koa meanwhile, is still crafting his own adventure- Soon arriving at the community housing, seeming to be more apartment blocks at first. You can definitely tell that some effort has been put into each of the buildings to give them their own unique "touch". But at the same time, it's undeniably all very similar all made with the exact same materials- And the main effort of the two story buildings, iron stairwells connecting to the second floor, seems to be conserving space.

Still, it doesn't take too long to find some older people loitering in a small park midst one of the community housing sets- And word seems to spread fast enough for them to instantly recognize who you're talking about, soon finding yourself on the doorstep of one of the many small "houses", ringing the bell. It takes a few moments before a girl around Koa's age opens the door just enough to see who's outside- From what Koa can see, sporting short pink hair, and currently not really dressed to receive visitors.

"Can I help you..?"

Irene, Tyke

"Hello, I would like to register for the starting rank cute contest, with this klefki please."

"'Sup. I'd Like to get my Special Effects Guy registered for a Contest. What we got going?"

"Hah- Sorry dear, but you're a bit early aren't you? We work with a rotation- Cute contest isn't until 4:30. The tough contest recently finished though, and we're currently preparing for the cool contest. May that interest either of you ladies?"

"Other contests besides cool we'll be having today still are beauty, cute and smart by the way, if you're interested- In that order."

Alex

"He identified himself as Tex, had some sort of humanoid robot with him, called it Hopper, and had as many files on laws as he could loaded up on it as he could manage."
"Or just a connection to the internet. Anyways, Tex sounds like a nickname, but I'll have Iris do a search to see if she can find anything with what you provided..." the Jenny says- momentarily turning to the pc and typing in a few things, before turning back to listen to Alex continue.

"He also seemed to imply he was being employed by somebody with a sizeable wealth."

"Most people are. Nothing suspicious there."

"As for appearances, I was a little addled after fighting what we had perceived as a murderous robot, so I didn't get much of a look at him. He was an older man, though, wearing some sort of aviator goggles. Maybe the others got a better look at him, next time I meet them I'll ask them to come see you if they remember anything more.
In terms of proof, well, I didn't know whether I really had the authority to confiscate any of the scraps when he was collecting them, but he decided that since my companions and I had been responsible for the destruction of one of his more important machines, he would make a portable mapper and get us to carry it around, said it would be a few days and that he'd contact... I think it was Tyke that gave him a number to call. He seemed convinced that we were incompetent, so he probably would be expecting us to hand the device over to you. Beyond that... Well, the wild pokemon toward the swamp will back my claim. I know it seems far strung, and I don't have much proof, but they wouldn't have any reason to lie, especially if it's made clear that the intent is to investigate what's been causing trouble for them."

"I'm sorry, but... Interrogating the wild? There's no such thing, really... I mean, there's a few methods you could communicate, but how would you get a testimony?"
"Anyways, from what you're saying I really doubt if any actual criminal activity happened here. If his machines were intentionally chasing out the wilds there certainly would, or perhaps if it was causing too much of a disturbance regardless we could file a cease and desist, but that hardly seems the case. This is by far not the first occurrence of wild pokemon running into human territory..."
"And... Besides that, it seems Iris does have records on this "Tex". And he appears to be completely clean- He's got permits for the machines he uses and to utilize them in such areas. He's even been giving a permit to capture pokemon, albeit not use them- Doesn't seem like it'd be too hard for him to get a license from what I'm reading too... He's done a few tech jobs for the league before."

"...Look, I appreciate you bringing this to light, but from what I heard I doubt anything substantial happened. If you are really certain about something fishy going on... How about you pick up his offer, and keep an eye out if there actually is? And bring something to prove that fact?"

"...What was it you said about destroying equipment though?"

Elias
Seeing that he'll be on his own from here on out, Elias looks up at what time exactly this tournament help is starting- From the description it seems like they'd want you to come shortly after the "mid-day break", but in effect it's more of a "get paid what you earned" maneuver- There's a bunch of misc tasks that need to be performed to set up for tomorrow, and the plan seems to be to simply work as long as is needed to get them all done- And then you'd be paid for the hours you put into it. So while presumably he'd want to be on time, he is rather free in it...

So after his pokemon have gone through a rigorous training regiment, soon he finds himself on the prowl, figuring he has some time. As eventually, passing an alleyway, it is stelour pulling on Elias sleeve to make him turn around- As further in the alleyway, he spots what appear to be three small foxes- Seeming to be enjoying a bit of "playtime" as they're trying to catch each others tails.

► Show Spoiler
Phoenix
While the monkey at first continues seeing the whole struggle as nothing but a minor play- Readying another tickle parade, he soon flinches as Phoenix has his little outburst, finally seeming to realize that maybe he was going a bit too far. As Phoenix teaches him a harsh lesson... And then lets him go- The aipom quickly darting off.

Following that, Phoenix decides to cash in the check he got- And likely feeling sorry for not giving his pokemon a proper meal yesterday, immediately spends half of it divulging himself and his mates in food. Finally, engorged, he starts making his way over to the mayor's office. Entering the town hall, the cute assistant behind the front desk perks up.

"Oh hello! Can I help you?"

Bjorn

"Certainly ma'am, anything you ask!" Bjorn blurts out, almost entranced as it does seem to be getting hotter in here. Her smile only widens slightly as she seems to realize that- But otherwise stays professional, as Bjorn seems to remain his composure long enough to ask another question.

"They will be ok, right? No wierd stuff?"

"Of course not. We merely want them for comparison purposes- The worst they'll get is some dna sampling, and for the remainder they'll be treated very well."

"Anyways, let's see what the machine has to say..."

"The caterpie was the main objective for you to get- So while naturally the pay would be much lower, now we're offering a total of 1200 for it. The metapod is almost the same as the caterpie, so we're willing to pay 800. Finally, it would be odd to give anything less than you could reasonably expect to find a sale for for the butterfree, so we offer... 2200."

"Does that sound good to you?"
the assistant says- Turning to Bjorn with a bright smile- Ever so subtly leaning out her hip beside the table.

Drake
Finally, Drake is spending some off-time bonding with his pokemon- Spending most of his time on some of his still rather undisciplined new ones. But after a little pep talk, while still seeming rather uncertain, all of them at least seem willing to give it a shot. As both of the mushrooms allow themselves to be harvested this time- If the foongus only because it got given a new surrogate kid. Similarly, the parasect seems to be fine with you planting the herb. At least, you think it is. It's... Kinda hard to say, as it's just sitting there...

Roll survival for the mushrooms.

"There's... Well, I imagine there's no such thing as interrogating the wild, but the majority of pokemon are intelligent enough to understand questions and nod or shake their head. A testimony would be another thing, though. You would need a telepathic pokemon to convey anything that was said, and some people would try to raise doubt as to whether it's reliable or not, it would really be a difficult process for minor gain."

"I don't even know if it is suspicious, I'm just uncertain about the whole thing. Knowing he's a reliable person helps, though. If the league has trusted him with work, that clears up pretty much any doubts as to whether helping him is the right thing to do."

"We were moving some pokemon from the water treatment facility to a nearby lake, when we saw some pokemon being harassed by what looked like beedrill. We stepped in to break up the fight, and it turned out they were machines. Apparently our hostile action triggered a large machine to come to their defence. After the fact, Tex said the big one was designed to scare away anything attacking the weaker bots, but we didn't know that at the time, all we knew was that this big thing was breathing fire at us. So we fought it. By some stroke of luck, or sheer stubbornness, we managed to beat it. The fight pretty much just left scrap about, but it seemed like Tex managed to recover the vital components."

While being examined James has Charles out and grooms him.

James looks at Zack and the mushroom on his back. "Oh Arceus..."

He stares mostly at the mushroom. "I know that you are aware what is going around you, even if your host is unconscious, and that you threatened your host when it looks like you will be killed. I hope you can actually hear me and listen to what I have to offer. I know you want to survive and I want Zack to survive. Here is the deal, I will get a planter and put you in it, and we can find a new spot for you to grow. You and Zack will survive.

If you can wake him up so we can talk about this, we can find a way to help both of you. If you don't I assume that you can't hear, don't understand, or can't wake him."

Charm: 17

James waits a few mins to see if Zack wakes.

If he wakes:
"You heard my offer, what do you think?"

If he does not.
"Yea I did not expect that to work. I guess all I have to do is pray.

Oh the great wish granter Jiratchi,
Please hear out my plea
This man before me is striken with strife
Zackary barely grasps onto life
Please rid this infestation
Without Zack's elimination
His mind altered by fungus
Heal it so he may live among us
May he remember
This entire endevor
Without distruction of his mind
Let him be healthy so he won't get behind
So that in future he won't have infestation
Let him able to shed his skin by your creation"

"oh, sorry I'm a little nervous, I'll come back later the cute contest. Thank you for the information." Irene will then go to the gym and look for a 1 vs 1 for 10, or 17 level for either Cygnus or Rythem a 2 vs 2 works too, it's just an awkward level range

While looking for a battle partner Irene will call out Amuara
"Hey Cygnus, are you surprised to see me again? Turns out we get to work together from now on." Irene starts rubbing his neck. "You're a little weaker then most of my team currently, so I want to train you a little ok?" and with that the Amuara starts looking around for anyone to challenge, impatient to get caught up.

"Stelour, what- oh," Elias says as the Riolu tugs at his sleeve. Glancing down the alleyway, he immediately has to suppress the urge to squee. "Look at those!" He whispers excitedly. "They're so cute!"

Taking out his pokedex, he then scans one of them to get information. "...a vulpix... and they're fire-types? That could actually be... really useful for the upcoming tournament. Let's see if we can fill out our roster a bit further, shall we m'dear?" That said, he then strides over toward the vulpix, coolly and confidently. As he draws near, however, he slows down, so as not to scare them. In a light and friendly voice, he calls out to the playing foxes, "Hello, little ones! You certainly seem to be a rather energetic bunch. I happen to be a trainer who's looking to expand my team, and I was wondering if perhaps any of you would be interested in joining my team..."

Pausing for a moment, Elias crouches down, pulling out a bag of his expensive pokemon food and pouring some of the solid portions of it into his hand. "...I don't suppose any of you are hungry?"

"Yes! I was told that the family that lives here used to live in the house that burned down nearby? Well, some of your belongings were found down in the basement, and I was stopping by to drop them off!"

At this, Koa retrieves the Clefairy doll and the camera he'd found and presents them to the girl.
"I saw these down in the basement and I just thought 'hey, this family might not have a lot of pictures left after the fire', and this one has some in it still. And I wasn't sure if you had like a little sister or someone that's going without a lot of toys now, so I grabbed this one."

"I know it's not a lot, but every little bit helps, yeah?" Koa says, offering the items along with a sympathetic smile.

Drake satisfied with the result takes a good look at his team and finds it sadly not very diverse. They all came from the same cave though, and getting a final team member from there would be fitting though a bit dangerous.
"So I still have a spot to use on this team and I think the best choice would be a water pokemon to compensate for your fire weakness. Do any of you know where to find a strong water pokemon?"

"Or do you know another great pokemon that could support this team?"

He'll follow his pokemon if they know a place, else he'll find a map on his pokedex and head towards the nearest lake

Drake harvest a tiny and a big mushroom but he's unable to identify them and figure out what stat they affect.

Had Bjorn more charisma, he would have possibly bartered for some replacement pokeballs, and certainly asked for her phone number to sweeten the deal. But given there were very few girls his age in his village, and his contact with fair members of the opposite sex minimal, all he can choke is a nervy "Perfect, thanks!"

Just brave enough to discretely leave one of the fliers he made though. "Its, ah, got my number on it. If y'know, you need any more pokemon, or anything..." he trails off as his nerves get the better of him.

Alex

"It's not really a thing. Even owned pokemon testimonies are hardly a thing..."

"Well, that's... I suppose it must have been a misunderstanding? At least nobody got hurt and I assume you both settled it diplomatically... That's what matters."

"Is that all?"

James

Following his examination, James goes and tries to cure Zacharie- First trying to parlay with the fungus he presumes to still be inside, but soon finding that to be a dead end as there's no response. Before trying to... Pray it away.

"Yeah. That ain't gonna work."

Halfway through James finds himself interrupted by a doctor coming in for what appears to be a check-up.

"Even if it would, the last thing we'd want is for him to be awake right now. With the medicine we've got running through him we can't afford to administer painkillers as well- It'd likely kill him in this state. Hell, it's a miracle he isn't dead- Weren't it for the fact Dr. Carson is a friggin genius, he would be."

"Fungus was trying to kill him- Shut down his lungs and hearts for a moment even before wrecking his brain. I'd say that trying to talk with is insane on itself as it's just a plant but... On the same time, it was kinda odd. It could have killed him if that was really it's intent."

"...Maybe it was trying to force us to stop."

"Anyways, we managed to kill most of the fungus, so it shouldn't have control anymore. Not that it matters at this point. His brain is scrambled eggs- We don't have the kind of technology to fix it..."

Christmas crit refunded.

Phoenix

"Hi. I'm here to see Mr. Matsudo. I think that's his name. He's the psychic type member of the Elite 4. He met with a group of my friends yesterday, and I'm hoping to meet with him now."

"Err... Sorry sweetie, but I think... Wait, a group of friends? Oh! You were with those kids weren't you?"

"I'll let you through to the mayor- Ask him about that."

With a quick nod, Phoenix soon finds himself in the mayor's office- Laying down the phone as he enters, the fat jolly guy seeming happy to see him.

"Ah, if it ain't one of our city heroes! Now, you're probably here because of the whole deal with Matsudo, no?"

"I'm afraid he's not here- And while I can technically do the same paperwork he arranged... I'm sorry, but I don't want anything to do with it."

"You can go and see him yourself and address this league trainer business though. He's at the Overture hotel- Big tower, can't miss it, penthouse suite. I'll give him and the hotel a call you're coming if you want..?"

Irene

Seeing she still has some time left, Irene decides to spend some time training her amaura first- Eventually finding someone who's willing to do a 3v3- His pokemon a bit weaker than Ochrana and Rythem, but figures that'd the amaura would balance it out- And be good training for it on the same time... As the first pokemon he sends out is a smaller creature with a circle on it's belly, and a long tail.

round-belly(2)

Elias
Spotting the adorable foxes, Elias is only barely able to suppress a squee- And checking their info on the pokedex, then soon finds that they could actually be useful as well! He doesn't need much more convincing- Slowly approaching the vulpix.

"Hello, little ones! You certainly seem to be a rather energetic bunch. I happen to be a trainer who's looking to expand my team, and I was wondering if perhaps any of you would be interested in joining my team..."

At first, as to be expected, the pokemon become a bit wary upon noticing Elias- One of them spending a bit more time playing with one of the others tails before a bop on the nose brings him to attention as well. Still, they seem to be remarkably okay with his arrival- If staying their distance.

"...I don't suppose any of you are hungry?"

Until he said those magic words at least- The three vulpix immediately dashing over to enjoy the treats- You guess that must be a more often occurrence for the adorable rascals! As a bit later he once again asks if any of them would be interested in joining him. Two of them seeming a bit doubtful- But the third one seems rather impressed by the tasty treats, and immediately jumps up with a "pix!"

Elias has captured a lvl 15 sassy male vulpix with flash fire!

Koa
"Yes! I was told that the family that lives here used to live in the house that burned down nearby? Well, some of your belongings were found down in the basement, and I was stopping by to drop them off!"

"Oh- Geeze, that old stuff?" she says, noticing the contents of the box. "I thought we said we didn't need that anymore..."

"I saw these down in the basement and I just thought 'hey, this family might not have a lot of pictures left after the fire', and this one has some in it still. And I wasn't sure if you had like a little sister or someone that's going without a lot of toys now, so I grabbed this one."

"I know it's not a lot, but every little bit helps, yeah?"

For a moment it looks like the girl would, while kindly, ask him to leave- With thanks for the effort. Though she considers the box for a moment more...

"Erm... Can you wait just a little bit? I'll be right back." she says, shutting the door on you- Coming back a few minutes later, barefoot- Wearing a jumper she seems to have just pulled on- Opening the door wide.

"You wanna come in for a bit? Something to drink maybe..?"

Drake

Drake meanwhile, happy his two mushrooms allow him to, harvests some mushrooms before looking into where he could possibly find a water pokemon- His team seeming to agree on that there's water pokemon in the caves they came from... But not really seeming certain. At all. Considering the maze that's down there, and the fact you didn't really find anything of the sort- Though you vaguely remember hearing water in that damp place- Probably doesn't make it the best bet.

Still, the caves would be a few hours of walking away- And as would be the closest lake it seems, as it's the same lake the others have visited a few times now... Whatever choice he'd pick, it'd probably be a day excursion. And he likely wouldn't want to be completely alone in it...

Bjorn

Bjorn, still a bit too flustered, immediately agrees to the offer.

"Excellent. Thank you very much Bjorn- The company appreciates your services. Just put your fingerprint here for a moment to confirm the transfer, and we'll be done." she says- Showing the panel to finalize the transaction.

"Thank you once again. You may collect the money up by the receptionist on your way out."

Giving a polite nod, Bjorn follows her instructions- Only just brave enough to hand her one of the pamphlets he made.

"Its, ah, got my number on it. If y'know, you need any more pokemon, or anything..."

"Thank you. I'll be sure to call should we be able to use your services again."

And on that note, Bjorn is on his way out- Finding his money waiting with the receptionist.

Tyke

"Hmm...I think I'll register Crackle Here for the Cool Contest...And DJ for the Beauty one, since his Phat Beats can bring Men to Tears...Aaaand Syren for the Cute one, since she can cause Cutegasms in Women. I might do Cracle Again for the Smart one, but I dunno."

"Woah, no need to register them all just yet! You'll have plenty of time once the contest ends to sign up for the next one if you really want- No need to set anything in stone yet."

"Anyways, we'll sign up your Crackle! Just put your name here, and you can enter the contest through those doors there. Good luck!"

Following that, Tyke is soon off to the contest- Ending up in a little waiting hall together with the other participants, most quickly introducing themselves. Seems she'll be playing together with three other trainers. One of them wearing a pair of sunglasses, leaning back on the wall. Clearly too cool to give any proper introductions besides a simple nod as she enters. The other guy excitedly introduces himself as Kay- With laid back, spiky red hair, white band shirt with the top sleeves torn off. And the final participant seems to be a girl. Black hair with green dyed accents, sporting a few piercings with a black shirt and dress. Bit more of a "goth" look, as she calmly introduces herself as Ivy.

Not too long after, the contest assistant come to say it's showtime- And with your pokemon in tow, get guided to the spotlight. Seems it's up to Tyke to present herself first...

Give me a contest roll. (so a contest related stat- Rules are here

With a sigh, Phoenix agrees with the mayors proposal and heads to Matsudo's place. When he gets there he asks the front desk for directions to Mr. Matsudo's room, saying that he should be expected.

"...Whelp...Time to Rock'Em...We're rolling with the T-Song, plenty of Flashes, Bolts, and Noise...And Remember...Be Cool!" Tyke says as she steps out on the stage with her guitar on her back, standing there for a moment and staring at the Judges. Then, just as it seems to be too long, she whips it around with a flourish and starts up on a Rolling Riff. That goes on for a bit before she gets a point when she shouts out "THUNDAH!", Crackle sending out bolts of lightning in all directions whenever she repeats the words, previously just setting up a bit of a beat with some crackles of electricity. Tyke then begins on a shortened version of the song, mostly singing about all the Cool Stuff Crackle has done and Will Do.

After the song finishes, she holds up a fist, her guitar in the other, and Shouts, "I'M TYKE! THAT'S CRACKLE! AND YOU'VE JUST BEEN THUNDER STRUCK!" Crackle sends a Bolt to the Rafters as she does this.

Then she calmly stalks off the Stage and to the bathroom, where she is violently sick for a moment, losing all of the nice Bacon and Eggs she had previously.

James looks at the scientist, wary. "Is that what you told him? That it was just a plant? That plant just nearly destroyed him. Why? Why did you think it was a good idea to go along with this? Your research nearly killed him, and put him under that plant's control." James shudders and gets ready to leave. "I am going to find a way to brig him back. There must be a way."

James heads up to the pokemon center. "Hello, I have a very serious and important question for you. It could mean life or death to someone I know. He is located in a medical area, but right now he is in a coma, and the staff says that he may never wake up or be the same person if he does. I want to know your medical opinion how I will be able to treat him, to get him out of a coma without causing his death."

"Oh- Geeze, that old stuff? I thought we said we didn't need that anymore..."
"Oh, uh, you did? Well, uh, my mistake then...," Koa admits, feeling a bit embarrassed and somewhat crestfallen. And here he was thinking he'd been doing a good deed....

"You wanna come in for a bit? Something to drink maybe..?"
He was about to turn and leave when the girl asked him to wait. When she returned, looking a little more decent, Koa nods curiously.
"Um, sure! I have some time yet. I'd appreciate it!"

Bjorn collects his earnings, thanking the receptionist as he leaves. He too checks the job board, noting the available work at the stadium. He makes his way to the shops to pick up some essentials (will edit what I purchased in here later when I have time) before looking around for somewhere that may be able to repair his nets (both weighted and hand held) on his way to the stadium.

Drake considering his options decides to pull out his pokedex and write a message to the others, except for Phoenix who he thinks have been through enough, and really wouldn't want to go back to that cave.

Hey, I'm still looking for a pokemon more for the tournament so I wanted to hear if you want to tag along. I'm either going to a cave or a lake to find a water pokemon hopefully.
