Out cold. If he gets positive HP, he'll wake back up. D&D doesn't really have a state for awake but too weak to do anything outside of some of the higher exhaustion levels.
Provided you're not healed or dead by then, you'll wake in an hour if you have a HD to spend, or in 1d4 hours at 1 HP if you are out.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
So Nem picked up a hexagonal crystal and a ball of platinum wire in the crypt, but I can't find the description of what they do. I think they are transmutation and evocation, but maybe the descriptions got changed because I can find them with the search function.
Does anyone know what they do?
Edit: NVM, the identification was done at the Abbey and Nem didn't use it.

So never got them ID'd?
If that was a player oversight instead of a character oversight, I'm willing to retroactively let you have paid to have it done.

Nah, she never went and spent the GP. Then I forgot.
Oh well. She'll pick it up at L4 instead I guess.

Why haven't you asked Ulmwin to do it, given that he picked the spell up later and could have done it for free?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Did he? Honestly, its because I forgot I had the stuff and didn't want to pay the Abbey for IDing
If it's possible to retcon a roadside Identify from all our travelling then I'll take it! It was my mistake tho, so happy to wait.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
U: "Hey Tess, what's that you got there?"
T: "Oh, these? I found them down in the ruins. There's this small ball of platinum wire, and this crystal vial of sloshy pointy silver liquid."
U: "Neat, what do they do?"
T: "Do? Oh, I have no idea."
U: "You didn't get them identified?!"
T: "They wanted money to do that. MONEY."
U: "*sigh* Give them here, let me take a look."
T: "Ok... you don't want money, do you?"
U: "No... I just want you to know what they do so you don't try to use them and kill us all."
T: "OK... as long as it's free."
A half hour later...
U: "Alright. This is a Ball of Lightning Web... activate and throw it and it'll cover a 20 ft cube in fine wire that tickles anything in it with lightning. The other one is a Vial of Destructive Augmentation... if you break this over a weapon, the liquid will coat it when you hit something, will shift and form more points and jagged bits, allowing you to do more damage, but it'll destroy the weapon after about a minute."

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Question: Claws and bites (and similar) are reffered to as weapon attacks, what happens if you apply it to such weapons? What about magic weapons?

I assume it would a) really hurt and b) break the weapon.

If you're wanting to experiment, you can try talking Tess into letting you use it...

You should test the bite attack first

On Holger? Can Maji move away from Snake Swarm without provoking AoO? And what can Maji see?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
If you take the disengage action first, you can avoid an opportunity attack. You can see the big mummy snake man with his swirling bits, and just a bit of the other skeleton and stone golem in the room. This swarm of snakes hasn't managed to bite anyone so far...

What do I roll, assuming I can use an opportunity attack while I was still holding my crossbow?

You can roll an unamred strike to kick... 1d20 + Prof + STR to hit.

The obvious course of action is to kill the golem.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Honestly, I'm torn, since IC it would probably be a reasonable reaction... Is it the first thing he would see when coming down, or would he have visual on the snakes/a skeleton first?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
You'd probably see golem and skeletons at about the same time, depending on how you push past Maji and Coljin. If you would like, you could ready an attack to use on whoever is hostile to a party member first or something like that.

Nah, if he sees the skeletons at the same time he'd shoot them- At leaast of those he's sure they're bad news.

Sorry for the double post, but just confirming- He'd have no visual on Randy before that, right?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Fair point. Are you squeezing between Maji and Coljin? You'd see a dying Randy, pretty much either way you push through.
