It was talked about, but I don't recall it ever being used...?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Huh, I could have sworn that Ulmwin used it, but there's nothing in the game thread. I guess we just talked about it a ton then
Well, from a metagaming perspective, the scroll is one that Nem will almost definitely be able to copy down once she gets to level 4 and cast it repeatedly (pretty sure I'll take ritual caster over the ASI - the dice don't like me much anyway!).
I don't think she would have that worked out IC for a while though

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Randy's been lugging the lesser restoration around ever since we found it. If anyone can make better use of it, he'll let them have it. Clerical spell isn't? If that's the case, it would make since for Coljin to have.
Edit: In case anyone is curious, I'm kind of loosely basing the structure and actions of the Randy's church off of the Catholic Church in France circa 1540's (think Cardinal Richelieu/Muskateers), which would go a long way towards explaining Randy's attitude. Unless Spider says otherwise, of course.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Are there any magic items found in the loot at the end of the blights, that we have not yet had ID'd or unclaimed because we are uncertain of their uses?
Coljin would take the scroll from Randy, it's a spell he'd not normally pray for, so it will at least be handy when needed for someone.

Probably? I think I posted for everyone that has asked to have their stuff ID'd (let me know if you haven't). I think there were some unclaimed items, but not completely sure.

I'm going to apologize if I'm not on the forum much for a bit. We've started notifying patients about my move. It's going to slow me down some.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Sorry guys, I've been a bit under the weather, and have a busy weekend (even though school is on break), with extra shifts at the shop and cooking 30lbs of pork for a party on Saturday. I'll get something up tomorrow for those of you in the middle of stuff.

Hate to say it, but I'm going to be largely offline. Spider you have permission to play Randy. I've explained a bit more else where...

Hopefully that doesn't drag on too long, but Randy will be here for you when you're able to be back.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I think things are ready for me to montage/time skip you guys through to level 3... though this has taken me longer to get around to than I ever thought it would. Guess that's the nature of forum games and busy schedules.
To summarize:
Maji: Train in Barbarian with Grelka
Zephyr: Train in Eldritch Knight with Krentor
Coljin: Restore M's shrine and pray his way to more spells
Randerwaith: Accompany Coljin and train with To'larel
Ulmwin: Study/learn with Merril
Holger: Learn what El'lairlilan is able to teach you
Tess: Read your book and practice things
Rudy: Take the Oath of Vengeance and pursue it as you must

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Sounds ideal
Is 5gp a head ok for everyone for the wagon? Like I say, Nemeia would happily pay for it herself, but would far rather have company on the road from a group of business partners

I think it comes to more than 5 gold each... covered wagon, mules and tack for them is 70 gold total, plus a bit more for blankets, lanterns, feed. That'd have you looking at more like 10 each.

That sounds alright. I am more or less waiting to see what Tess wanted to say at the meeting.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I think....
I think I can probably start getting back into things this weekend, just as long as I stay mum on a particular item. It's still under negotiations, but I've got an idea of the ground rules and what I can and can't talk about (basically nothing). It'll take me a while to get caught up with everything. I'll let you know when I'm ready to take control of Randy again, Spider. I suspect it'll be Sunday before I'm up to speed. This week has been crazy at the office.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
No worries, we'll keep everything we talk about here strictly game related, so Randy can't go on any rants about no-good whatsits and who-nows. Will fork and spoon still be required in a few months (unless firewall cuss-blocking is the thing that cannot be discussed).

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Alright, I've got narrative updates to level 3 up for four of you, with the rest this evening hopefully. I have to go observe my mentee teach soon, otherwise I'd try to crank out the rest while I've got momentum.
I know some of you have rolled for HP, but others may not have (or did it a while ago and it got buried). As Maji mentioned in one of the threads, you can make a roll, but take average if the roll is below the average.
Sheets can be updated if you have access. If you want access, just request it, or let me know and I can make changes for you if need be.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Level up: Yeah, I rolled HP previously... Thought I posted it, but can't find it back..? Here's the roll, though: http://www.coyotecode.net/roll/lookup.php?rollid=181637
Also already added the HP to my sheet.
For spells: Ulmwin learns suggestion, and... I think that's it, really.
I could switch out thunderwave for something else potentially, but it's a good AOE ability that's so far seen little use because friendlies keep walking into the AOE, and I could replace cure words with healing words so I can instantly heal from a distance rather than melee only, but being able to cast it at second level would allow me to heal 2d8, too, so that's a bit of stronger healing available. Did consider getting identify, but with Thinks intent on getting ritual caster down the line, it's probably moot.
So barring any of you guys think X would be useful to get, yeah, that's it.
Also I'll list the additional proficiencies and double proficiencies I took here for convenience as well:
-Arcana, insight and investigation became proficient
-Persuasian and arcane became "double" proficient.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Tess won't have it until 4th level at the earliest, and you can swap one out each level, so you could take identify now and pass that duty on to her when she goes ritual.
