Maji and Randy: You are both restrained as the vines wrap around your legs once again.

The vine blight that Ulmwin touched with his bad thoughts returns, lashing out at Randy, its vines wrapping around him as it squeezes. As Randy's vision flickers and goes black, the blight releases him and he slumps to the ground, unconscious.

Zephyr inhales deeply (second wind) and presses the attack. She slashes the vine blight again.
Sword attack: 1D20+5 = [7]+5 = 12
Sword damage: 1D8+3 = [4]+3 = 7

Zephyr: Your sword just connects with the vine blight, and you hack a decent chunk in it, but it's still standing and looking in decentish shape.

((Early action in case I'm caught up at tonight's social))

Str is not my forte: 1D20-1 = [16]-1 = 15

Nemeia FINALLY breaks free of the blights and does a tiny victory dance before retreating away from the main room (about 10 feet) and using her cunning action to hide.

Stealth: 1D20+4 = [4]+4 = 8

...

...thanks dice.

 well at least she's free. I'm going to assume the vine blight will almost certainly be utterly immolated now or something, rendering her str check useless anyway :P

"Bloody Builder Damn Vines! " Rudolph shouts as he thrashes about on the ground against the vines.

Rudy: You wiggle about on the ground.

The twig blights attack Zephyr again, and in their long tradition of scrabbling ineffectively against her armor, they both miss.
The tree blight rears back and levels a punch at the tiefling as well... but once again, she manages to duck under the swinging fist, its heavy weight whooshing over her head.
Holger: You drop your torch, swinging at the vine blight with both daggers... and missing with both daggers.

Coljin reaches over to where Maji is restrained and tries to pry off the vines.

While doing so, he gives these instructions: "Maji, Once you are free, Pick me up and throw me over the vines to Randy."

Strength Check to Help Maji.: 1D20+2 = [18]+2 = 20

Ulmwin will drop his crossbow on the ground nearby, pulling out his rapier to stab at the vine blight:

Rapier attack: 1D20+4 = [6]+4 = 10
1D8+2 = [4]+2 = 6

He misses.

Maji: Grabbing Coljin, you swing him around, tossing him *gently* past Rudy to land next to the fallen ranger and nobleman, staying low.

The vine blight attacks the cleric, but its vines pass over his head.

Another vine blight attacks Holger, but the mage manages to side step its bad hug.

Rudolph finally breaks out of the vines =21 and while briefly debating scrambling away find he is trapped between people so tentatively stands up. Clutching his sword grip hard as anger at these bloody vine washes over him.

Zephyr begins to remember her past, hacking through thick jungle vines with her sword.

She slashes at the vine again, shouting her frustration as she does so.
Sword Attack: 1D20+5 = [15]+5 = 20
Sword Attack: 1D8+3 = [4]+3 = 7

"Just die already you damn vine."

Side stepping the vine blight put him in a bad spot for cutting it and his blades gets a good taste of air.

Holger daggers: 1D20+5 = [3]+5 = 8
1D20+5 = [6]+5 = 11

Zephyr: You slash at the vine blight, your blade biting deep. It's certainly really bad off, but somehow manages to keep on its feet.

One of the twig blights sticks with Zephyr as a target, and much like its last few attempts, can't get past her armor.
The other shifts its focus to Holger, and finds the sorcerer to be an easier target, gouging him for 5 damage. still misses as Zephyr intervenes with her shield.
The tree blight swings a massive fist at Zephyr, but once again whiffs, mashing a fist into the stone as dry bits of wood snap under the blow.

Pyro Attack by throwing the Lantern!: 1D20+3 = [2]+3 = 5 Sure, he tries to be heroic and the dice go to hooey.

Coljin with his shield in one arm and the lantern in the other, decides to use the lantern as his fiery weapon of choice.
Windmilling it around three times he gets momentum going and then lets it fly at the vine bight in front of him with a high pitched primal scream.

Now for his movement. Can he go diagonally down and then one west and not take an AOO from the Vine to the north of him?
If not, can he at least go Daigonally down one?
Can he also get mace in hand as a free action or no?
