Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Successful medicine check will stabilize at 0 HP and remain unconscious, feeding goodberry will pop him back to 1 HP and conscious.
It's a bit of a trade off, but you currently have a numbers advantage, and there is definitely a distinct advantage to being able to take more attacks on a side per round. That's the reason that big bads have legendary actions and resistances, if they didn't then a party vs a dragon is going to be able to make short work of it if they all get to go for every one thing the dragon can do.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
actually then, healing him back to 1 hp has a better chance of him getting killed than pulling him out of combat. Being a ...ahem...honorable man as he is, he may continue fighting and take a hit hard enough to kill him as is, where being immobile might save his life....granted rolling a nat. 20 might also bring him back to life.

Hmmm...WWRW
(that is...What Would Rudolph Want?)
Stability and unconscious or conscious and very weak?
Cojlin does have an idea on what he thinks that answer is.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Booze enough to forget he's here?
I was thinking that either Holger or Tess could throw two daggers at the twig blights next round, but the vine blight is still a problem for Holger if he wants to throw the gem at the tree as it gives him disadvantage. Ulmwin could likely kill the two twigs and knock the vine blight away with a thunder wave but hitting Zephyr in the proces

Thunderwave is a 15ft cube, so wouldn't be able to get vine and twigs at their current positions. With some positioning, could hit either both twigs or vine and a twig... and Zephyr.

On throwing the lantern...
A burning tree blight would really light up this place.

Maji approves of the later plan.spiderwrangler wrote:Thunderwave is a 15ft cube, so wouldn't be able to get vine and twigs at their current positions. With some positioning, could hit either both twigs or vine and a twig... and Zephyr.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Seems the plan for now will be to throw this explodey rock at the tree blight and it's companion next to it, but I can easily take out two annoying twig blights if you guys prefer...

The twig blights hit for 1d4+1... The tree blight *probably hits for like 1d2 or something*...

Oh, that reminds me... Posting perception check request in thread...
Ah... It'll have to wait until I have computer access to see what Holger's torch lights up. Might not end up needing the check...

So corpses make for good soil for blights, huh?

I think at this point, "mercy killing" is a more appropriate term.

She seemed grateful at least. Can someone please help Nem out of the vines? My -1 modifier sucks.

Yep. Gotta kill the ugly vampire tree now or we get to replace the prior victims. Tree is literally going to be out for blood.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Does appear that the RNG is rather fickle. I can't complain that I'm not getting good rolls, but the TIMING sure leaves something to be desired. I'm glad I'm not playing Vegas with luck like this.

I hope starting over doesn't mean lvl 1 again... It took us a year to get this far.
