Alright, I still had my part of the finale saved.
I'm not sure where I should put this... Probably in the "completed games" forum- But for now I'll just put it here in a spoiler.

This was definitely it.
"The edge of civilization".
Not a single thing existed beyond this point that would not want to kill him.
SerV3 had expected this place to be a lot colder. No doubt it was, but it did not carry that appearance. The ground was scorched black, and riddled with cracks, sometimes huge fissures. As if in ages past, someone had inflicted a scar upon this world, upon this place and left in its wake, the wishing stone.
The golem stood still at this border. Slightly hesitant. This ground was unstable, dangerous even. Especially for someone of his size. Many places looked like just the weight of a feather could make it collapse. Lava was more than prominent as well, boiling up from deep within the earth, forming things from simple streams to huge rivers. But thatÔÇÖs okay, he has experience with that.
 It briefly occurs to the golem he isnt hesitating because of the danger. He doesnt care about danger. Neither does he care if he would die.
He is hesitating because this is it. His moment to shine. The only thing left to find out is just what kind of glory. A glorious victory, or a glorious death.
The golem continued his march. The ground beneath him shifted as he walked, often resulting in perilous acts of balance. But all in all, it only slowed him down.
He briefly wondered if the other contestants- if any, were having as much trouble as him.
They werenÔÇÖt. Or more precise ÔÇ£heÔÇØ wasnÔÇÖt. Fate had played its course so that only two warriors remained. One, the golem, SerV3. The other was the embodiment of the desert, the bladeslinger, the dustwalker, Inti. He swiftly jumped from stable ground to stable ground, moving at a fast pace yet not rushed. It is when you begin to rush, that you begin making mistakes.
A trickster god was most amused. How beautiful his work had been. Like puppets on strings, acting out a giant play filled with death. And how glorious the play had been so far. From fearsome dragons, an orc with an eternal smile, to fairies and even flies. But all of those had played their role: now either dead or incapacitated. Or in a unique case, granted with an insight.
But his play was not yet finished- These two puppets remained.
And did he have a grand finale in mind for them.
ÔÇ£How big is this desolate wasteland?ÔÇØ
thought the golem quietly to himself, as he took a momentary pause on what appeared to be stable ground- Trying to get an idea of what would be the safest path to take. And besides that, just what path to take. SerV3 had been following the flow of the lava river, hoping that it would lead somewhere important. But it was beginning to look more and more to be a hoax. Hell, maybe this whole stone was a hoax. Rumors of an item that doesnÔÇÖt exist. Man, wouldnÔÇÖt he look stupid if that were the case.
In each case, it looks likely that the river leads to the center of this scar. And what place would be more likely for the wishing stone to be found? He had ventured so deep into this place, it was all just a wasteland. Nothing in front of him. And nothing behin-
ThatÔÇÖs when the golem saw the one champion that had not yet perished. And he recognized him. Inti the dustwalker. A legendary warrior.
The golem was no coward. But neither did he like to fight. And certainly not against a foe this powerful.
After all He got lucky with the Mechman. He decided to give up, and trust this task to him.
 He cant fail. Not now.
Inti was coming too close, too fast. He probably noticed the golem ages ago. SerV3 had his axe at the ready, thinking. A really, really stupid idea came to his mind.
But taking a look at the dustwalker again, now just a few hundred meters away, probably standing next to the golem in less then a minute, it suddenly seemed like the best idea.
The golem jumped- He only barely lifted from the ground; a heavy duty golem was not made for this kind of thing. And the weak ground shook very lightly, for a small while.
It was working.
The golem jumped again- A faint rumbling sound. Things were beginning to move deep down below- Rocks shifting. Deep below, internal structures suspending the whole area were beginning to break. Inti was getting too close for comfort.
ÔÇ£Stop this! YouÔÇÖll kill us both!ÔÇØ
The golem jumped a third time.
And as a common saying goes, third timeÔÇÖs the charm.
The ground began to collapse, slowly beginning to form a massive landslide, leading inwards into this cursed land. SerV3 was taken first, trying to get a good grip on the little piece of solid rock he had been standing on. His plan might just work! Slide all the way down, whilst his nemesis, on less firm ground, will get buried beneath it. And for a mighty warrior such as him, it certainly wouldnÔÇÖt be enough to kill him.
Actually, thinking about it, it wouldnÔÇÖt matter. It was all just a race now. He could just wish him back to life if he got the stone first.
But beautiful plans can so easily collapse. And the golem's plan was beginning to fall apart like a house made of cards. First he began losing his footing. Then rocks behind him began to catch up. The rock he was standing on was making motions like it could flip at any moment. And eventually, he stumbled. His vision went black.
Eventually his senses returned. His vision was still obscured by what were mainly rocks in his way, as the golem tried to wrestle his way to the surface. He wasnÔÇÖt sure how long he had been out, but it couldnÔÇÖt have been long. Something was telling him it hadnÔÇÖt been long.
Finally the golem managed to push away one of the heavier rocks, his reward being granted a vision to the outside world. The outside world that for this matter, was dull, grey and black. Even the sky gave that impression. But no time to waste- Get the remainder of these rocks off hi-
ÔÇ£That was dangerous golem.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Dangerous and stupid.ÔÇØ
Inti had seen him trying to escape the rocky prison. The golem checked what his odds were to find his axe in due time, break out of the rocks and get in a hit or counterattack without being chopped up.
They were pretty low.
ÔÇ£Well, it was a fool's plan. Those are generally stupid and dangerous.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£You almost killed yourself.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Well, yeah. How about you?ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Have you heard any of the stories of me, golem?ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Yes. ItÔÇÖs the reason that I resorted to something like that in the first place.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Then, have you in any of these stories heard about how I ÔÇ£became the desert, turning into sand, nigh invulnerableÔÇØ?ÔÇØ
 Yeah. Stupid, stupid plan.

ÔÇ£So, what now huh?ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£IÔÇÖm not sure really. You're not much of a threat anymore, but neither can I risk that you take me off guard.ÔÇØ
 Though I suppose that chance is unlikely.
Inti gave a moment of notice to the scene behind him. The golem had to spend a little bit of effort to properly take a look, but eventually he could see it as well.
There, at the heart of fire, high upon a scarlet red rock, rested the wishing stone. Consisting of the same red rock, a small, twisty, dangerous looking path led all the way up to it- And surrounding it by all sides, lava poured in from every direction. Some of those streams dangerously close.
ÔÇ£So. You're going to walk over there, whilst the time itÔÇÖll take me to get out of this will mean IÔÇÖll be too late.ÔÇØ
That Was what I was thinking, yes.
ÔÇ£But IÔÇÖm not sure.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Not sure about what?ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Whether you deserve to live.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£I know your story ÔÇ£SerV3ÔÇØ. You used to be a warlord. And you worked for a twisted man that didnÔÇÖt even have a name, and instead referred to himself by an alias. An alias that is saying enough on its own: ÔÇ£The commanderÔÇØ. Hundreds if not thousand of families died through your actions. And many more were in someway affected.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£... And what do you want me to say to that? Are you hoping that IÔÇÖm going to lie, try to deny it all? Because itÔÇÖs fucking true.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£So you openly admit being a monster.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£No. But I realize people call me that. I understand that. But IÔÇÖm not.ÔÇØ
When it all began I was just a kid you know. A kid whose soul was used to empower a golem. Creating me. I was aware, but It felt like a dream. Like I was dreaming, and that I did not have much control of my actions. That I wasnt realizing that the things I was doing were having actual consequences. Devastating consequences.
Until, well One day I saw something that shook me out of that dream. It made me realize just what I was doing. It made me realize what the commander, somebody I had began to see as a father, was doing. And then I put a stop to it. I ended it.
ÔÇ£So yes. I am a murderer. I have blood on my hands, and for that I am cursed, trapped in an iron shell, and hated by so many. Even after so long, and even if it was me that ended that war in the first place.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£IÔÇÖm guessing that last bit is the only reason why IÔÇÖve lived so long.ÔÇØ
The dustman had his sword at the ready the entire time. But during the explanation, his grip had began to loosen. And now here he stood, slightly dumbfounded.
ÔÇ£Well, what are you going to do?ÔÇØ
I
ÔÇ£Please. You're not going to tell me that IÔÇÖm the first warrior youÔÇÖve encountered that might actually have a good purpose. The first time that youÔÇÖve had to make a decision like this.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£It would sadden me to know the world is turning so grim to hear that.ÔÇØ
 What would be your wish golem?

ÔÇ£Well?ÔÇØ
I dont know. I honestly dont know. Maybe wish myself human again Then again, I I
If the golem had been provided tear ducts, this would be the most likely time for them to activate. Now, the only thing to be seen were eyes colored a pale light blue.
I honestly dont know. I came here with the thought that I could use the stone to make it all better again. End this hate against me. Begin a new life. One in which I can finally stop my wandering, live peacefully. But now, being here I dont know anymore.
There was a moment of awkward silence. But Inti knew this couldnÔÇÖt wait forever.
Golem, Im going now. I will destroy the stone. But Before I do so, I will grant you the favor of wishing you back home. Please dont try to stop me.
But Inti wasnÔÇÖt even going to give him the chance of stopping him. He ran off at almost lighting speed, towards the Hearts of Fire. The golem finally pulled himself out of his rocky prison. But no longer with haste. There was no way he could catch up anyways. He searched for his axe afterwards. Luckily, it had survived the crash.
Still, seeing Inti climbing the path to the wishing stone, all this work It felt like a waste.
Well, at least his promise would be kept. Even if it wasnÔÇÖt him executing the act.
Inti nimbly jumped across the stepping plateaus- Pieces of red rock sticking out of the lava, leading towards the small, narrow path winding up the central column. From the bitter cold of this wasteland, now to this excruciating heat. It felt like home, how the desert could be so harsh. So cold at night, yet so hot during the day.
Eventually the pathway came to a halt. There, on top of this red rock, a flat plateau, with a pedestal in its center. Perched upon it, the wishing stone.
Inti didnt really know what he expected, but seeing this, it felt Unfulfilling. A giant glass bauble, as if one could almost mistake it for just that. Though, looking at it closer It felt like things could be seen moving just under its surface. Near unlimited energy, cramped together in a tiny shell, begging to be released.
Inti pulled his eyes away from the thing, giving a final look over the edge of the plateau. There he stood, that golem. With his axe in one hand, and staring at Inti and the plateau. Waiting for him to fulfill his promise.
Inti held his hand on the stone. He could feel just a fragment of its power crackling under the surface- And that fragment alone was enough to make him dizzy for just a second. But promises are to be kept.
ÔÇ£I wish the golem back to his home.ÔÇØ
The stone glowed. The wish was granted.
And yet, something did not feel right. And IntiÔÇÖs suspicion was confirmed, for as he turned around, the blunt side of SerV3ÔÇÖs axe knocked him away from the stone.
ÔÇ£Wha- But.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£ItÔÇÖs what happens when you cast a defective spell. Or wish as it appears.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£As you tried to wish me to a place I do not know.ÔÇØ
The golem took a step towards the wishing stone- But Inti was not going to make it that easy, his left hand quickly forming a sigil- And suddenly the golem found the stone blocked again by the bladeslinger, who jumped back on his feet. And no moment was wasted, as the golem was just given a split second to use his axeÔÇÖs hilt to deflect the incoming blow, stumbling backwards. Getting close to the edge. The golem tried to prevent falling, striking forward. IntiÔÇÖs hand formed a ward to protect against the strike, and his favorite longsword swung not much later. As the golem took a step back, the ground gave way, dropping both the golem and bladeslinger down. The golem crashed first on the platform beneath them, feeling it crack under the shock. And Inti just being behind him, SerV3ÔÇÖs axe swung, knocking him away in midair, landing further on the slope, only barely managing not to fall of.
ÔÇ£I should have known you werenÔÇÖt to be trusted. You had me fooled golem.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Is it that hard to believe that I am yet to find out what my wish will be?!ÔÇØ
SerV3 axe was lingering over his head, ready to strike down at Inti who prepared another ward.
ÔÇ£IÔÇÖm sorry.ÔÇØ
The force of the blow struck through the ward.
ÔÇ£But I didnÔÇÖt come this far to back down.ÔÇØ
The golem calmly retracted his axe. The genasi immediately clutched at the wound penetrating deep into his right shoulder, bleeding furiously. Staring at SerV3 with eyes filled of hate.
ÔÇ£Please. Your badly wounded. LetÔÇÖs end it here. I will do the same favor as you did to me. Wish you back home, to your family.ÔÇØ
Into panted. And then, slowly his body began to crumble- dispersing into sand. The golem thought he conceded defeat.
It didnÔÇÖt take too long to realize he was wrong.
He could see how this sand was rushing inside him, through every single little hole the golem contained. Jamming mechanisms as the sand blocked the workings, his vision becoming obscured as sand began to fill the two glass eyes, now burning a bright blue of true fear. And most shockingly of all, the fact he could actually feel it- Actually feel pain as Inti found his most vulnerable part, and trying to destroy or dislodge it. The part containing his soul.
The golem began to stumble, barely controlling his own actions. He fell down, stumbling of the narrow pathway, landing on a small plateau near the lava. His one hand dipping just ever slightly into it by accident, the metal melted. That wasnÔÇÖt a problem on itself. In fact, it was a blessing.
It gave him an idea.
He suspended himself over the lava as well as he could, without touching it.
ÔÇ£You k-know. I m-m-might not be-e-e-e-e-e the most sturdiest of goleeeuhms-ÔÇ£ SerV3 spoke, his voice malfunctioning as Inti had damaged it on the inside.
ÔÇ£B-b-but I trust that I w-wonÔÇÖt melt unless-less I actually t-touch this!ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£W-What about about sand?ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Wha-a-at happeeens to sand sand at h-high temperature?ÔÇØ
Before Inti realized just what the golem was talking about, it was too late. He could feel the heat- Slowly turning himself into an unmovable, glass form. He tried desperately to find a way out before he would get fully turned- But for that it was too late, as the golem pushed himself back on the small plateau right before Inti would consist out of nothing more then glass. And now, Inti fully solidified, the golem lay lifeless, his mechanisms blocked.
Until he put enough force behind his actions to break the glass. Slowly, piece by piece, he became mobile again. Crippling, and half blind from the glass stuck in his eyes, he found his way to the small winding pathway. And he began his ascend.
Eventually, he finally found his reward. His hand touched the blue stone, reaching out to him to make another wish.
ÔÇ£G-Get him back home.ÔÇØ
The golem felt a huge relief as the force that was straining him left. And now, it was just him and the stone.
ÔÇ£O-Okay wha- First fi-fix myself.ÔÇØ
And after that, he felt like he hadnÔÇÖt felt like in years. Even his arm cannon had returned, on the arm still resting on the stone. But now the golem wasnÔÇÖt sure what to say. As he pulled his hand of, he began to mumble to himself.
Okay I could wish myself human. But How old would I be? I guess I could wish myself young, but
ÔÇ£Maybe I could wish I just never got turned into a golem. Wait, no, then that war would probably have continued for god knows how long. Maybe- Maybe I could wish that he actually succeeded? Without need to do anything evil? For the greater good as he intended before he went mad?ÔÇØ
Nono
Maybe I could just wish it never happened in the first place But then I would never have claimed this stone in the first place, would I? Who knows who would claim it then Maybe Inti, who would just destroy it for the good of the world Maybe somebody more sinister.
 This is hard. I cant decid-
And then it occurred to him. ÔÇ£A stone that can grant any wish.ÔÇØ
His hand rested on the stone, as he spoke.
ÔÇ£Show me what I want.ÔÇØ
The stone began to light up, images beginning to be displayed on itÔÇÖs surface. Visions of clouds, slowly swirling away to reveal unto the golem his vision, as said golem stood awaiting anxiously of just what that was.
As the vision cleared, it could clearly be seen.
Nothing.
ÔÇ£What?!ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Why donÔÇÖt you show anything?! Am I so indecisive that I literally canÔÇÖt choose? Why do you show-ÔÇ£
 Nothing.
ÔÇ£Oh. ItÔÇÖs because I desire nothing. IÔÇÖve grown acceptant. What has passed has passed, as fate wills. And I can live with that.ÔÇØ
And as for the fact that Im not happy with how I am Well, I could take the easy route, just wish the trouble away. But where is the fun in that?
ÔÇ£I am done wandering. IÔÇÖm done running away from my troubles. Time for the world to show what I am, or will become. A hero.ÔÇØ
SerV3 picked up the stone, bringing it silently to the edge. He could almost feel it whispering to him how it didnÔÇÖt have to be like this. How he could just wish for anything he wanted. Become a god.
The golem didnÔÇÖt give a damn as the stone fell, into the lava. And from the fires of which it had been created, it had returned.
And itÔÇÖs power, unleashed.
The golem ran as the ground began to quake, away from the scene. But there was no chance that the golem would make it out in due time, as walkways collapsed and the lava began to rise.
A trickster god watched the scene. He was slightly disappointed to this finale. After all that way, the only thing the golem had wished for was to teleport someone somewhere, and a repair job. He wasnÔÇÖt sure if he should be angry or accepting of that fact.
But it occurred to the trickster god, that this play had not been of the destination. It had been of the journey.
And this golem? He put up quite the play during that journey.
And so when the Hearts of Fire erupted into a massive volcano, an uncertain amount of time later the golem awoke on itÔÇÖs base, miraculously unscratched. Almost as if there had been some kind of divine intervention. Hah, right. Like a deity would care enough about him to do so.
SerV3 took a look at the volcano. Then he turned, walking away from the scene, back to the civilized world.
His eyes colored a joyful green.
