This is a simple little game thread where one person posts a string of letters and the next person types out what those letters might stand for. They then also leave a string of letters for the next person to work from, and so on, and so on.

I've played this in the past on other forums, and I found myself kind of jonesing for it here, and I think some of you will find it fun. My standard rules for simple games applies - wait for two different people to post before posting again. Keeps the pace a lot more reasonable, I find. There are plenty of other threads to help spam up your post count if that's what you're looking for.

As far as the letters go, I find somewhere around 8 letters to work well, but longer or shorter is fine too (in moderation). Personally I often have a sentence or phrase in mind and type it out as an acronym to see if the next person actually guesses what I was thinking, but that's purely optional.

Small simple words such as a, the, of, by, and the like may be added into the acronym if needed, but try to avoid it. What the acronym spells out may be a sentence, phrase, something that sounds like an organization, headline, really anything one might use an acronym for.
