Steals starts to bash the stalactite with his stick, it knocks a few bits of stone loose.
All go down to the floor and retrieve the fishing rod that fell withSteals earlier and then with Schnitzel try catching the final fish, weirdly this time they both catch the same one, it is the one All threw back in, it looks parasitically dumb and now dead with a spear through it.
There seems to be an odd bubbling from below the waters surface.

Steals and All prepare for anything that might come out of the water. What they didn't expect was that Schnitzelwould jump into the pool trying to get the last fish.
Plunging deep into the water Schnitzel feels his spear hit rock just as he submerges under the water. Initially unsure if he got the fish or not is quickly determined when it bites a chunk out of his bleeding ear. -1hp

Schnitzel tries to grab the fish but its to quick for him, and it darts around the pool, at best he manages distract it and to keep it from biting him this turn whilst All swims across to the other side unmolested.What they both notice is the fish has changed colour and it now seems to be behaving more intelligently than before.
Steals Bashes at the stalactite again and again, the stick doesn't seem to be doing much, then taking a different approach he hits and levers it from a different angle and CRACK the stalactite breaks, nearly toppling on poor Steals he manages to dodge but at the cost of his stick. The way out is now usable.

Keeping an eye on the dark Stalactite hanging over the pool All opens the chest and finds 2 healing potions (heals D4), A crossbow with 5 bolts carefully wrapped in cloth, some old leather armour +1Def, 21gp, a circular red gem, a very nice diamond ring and a potion of shrink. Everything luckily is goblin sized.

As Schnitzel leaves dripping wet from he cave he hands Steals his spear who goes back up the top and tries to help get the fish, however the fish seems to be staying in the center of the pool now out of reach.

Schnitzel now outside sees the guard still sleeping peacefully and a strange goblin dressed in black holding a book standing over him with a questioning look.

All will gather up all the stuff from the chest, use one of the healing potions (only on 2hp, and have to escape the fishy) and them throw some of her juicy grubs in the pool to hopefully distract the clever fish so she can wade past. She tries to keep the loot out of the water as best as possible.

Steals then put the fish in the water, twirling it around a bit before releasing his grib on it and readies himself to attack it if it comes into range.

"Excuse me fair goblin friend, may I ask what you are doing." Schnitzel says with an Airy tone. Then realizing that he doesn't really care, he ignores the goblin and walks into the cave.

Steals dangles and splashes the dead fish in the water and prepares to stab it if it comes close.
All quoffs a potion restoring herself to full health, throws some of the grubs into the water to distract the fish on the her side and jumps into the water and attempts to swim across with the new gear she has found, but its slow going.
The fish however has other ideas it orbits All briefly as if deciding where to attack, it suddenly zooms past her face as if having missed and straight out of the water.
Steals get a clear view of the zooming the air but is to slow with the spear. It darts high and hits a stalactite before both plunge to the pool below.

Choice- All you can dodge the stalactite easily and get to the other side this turn if you let go of the armour and crossbow or you can lose 1 HP per item you keep a hold of them and make it half way across. (note the potion you took before hand put you back on 5hp)

"Excuse me fair goblin friend, may I ask what you are doing."
Schnitzel heads into the main cave after briefly deciding to confuse a goblin outside who shrugs, prods the hobgoblin with his toe then walks out of any ones site.
Inside Schnitzel sees lots of shallow coloured indented depressions on the wall.

Steals helps All out of the water by grabing her and the gear as she get close. The fish seeing his prey is about to get away take one last bite but only manages to get the rest of the juicy grubs that All had. Both then head outside and see the sleep guard. tired and wet from the swim Allbriefly puts the heavier items down to let them dry off a little.

Schnitzel throws an apple at the coloured indents, nothing happens but he hears a response from up the corridor.
"Forget something priest?", it almost sounds like the last word was said with extra disdain.
