The GM has not yet announced whether he will accept votes for the dice.

Short answer: no. Votes for the dice are like wasting 1 xp. If you don't want to give it to anybody specific, at least don't waste it. Some have very few xp and might be glad to get it.
However, I might consider to interprete voting for the dice as your wish to give every member of the losing team 1 point cause the dice really sucked for them. On the other hand, only the losing team voted for the dice so far, so it would be like giving xp to yourselves.

Hm...my totally not biased opinion: I think that would be nice. What? I was the GM? Oh, forgot that for a second! Really!

Well, how was that handled in the other games so far? I am 1 point short of a level up (4 to 5) and would really appreciate it, but I don't want to take xp that could go to the players, cause my last game sucked too and I know how it feels.

Well, Wears allowed voting for the dice, but the dice did not make it.

We could let the dice level up. To a D21. Which would make many things a lot more interesting, especially when no modifiers are used. (Then the 11 is "free" -> tie).
As the dice have not won yet, we would need a discussions about that when it happens.
(My totally unbiased opinion: the winning team gets the extraXP, as the dice was theirs....!)


If you'd change the thread title, people could see that they're invited to vote, and we'd get more votes, hopefully.

My rule when voting for the dice was that they couldn't keep the XP. Who got the XP was determined by... the dice. (Dice seemed to have mixed feelings about that.)

I don't know that I'd want to make that a regular thing, but it seemed apt that game.

For some reason, I feel like voting for the dice is a cop out. MVP should be just that, a reward for a person who preformed well, either through key victories or brilliant tactics or some other commendable contribution. Voting for the dice just seems lazy to me.

The GM can vote too, and he's the only one who knows who did proposed strategies on either side....
And non-players/observers (Moose, Wears) can vote too.

My vote would go to Bomb. He was on the right spot a lot of times and had very bad luck for ending with the lowest xp of all chars. Both teams did analyze well, even if it didn't matter for one of the teams.

Well, while I think the MVP should go to somebody who not already got most of the xp in the game (normally it is rather awarded for a honorable attempt rather than great success), the MVP and therefore the extra xp goes to Charger.
