I cannot see how this could go wrong for Parchment... Surprising an Adventuring Party from behind. While they are trying to solve a puzzle.

And there is no end to Kin's search for Minmax, there is no end to this dungeon, there is no end to the endless squabbling of MinMaxo, and there is no end to the threat(s) from Complains of Names.

Let's hope her familiar doesn't meet its end.

That familiar is super handy though! It can fly and slip through cracks! I hope the party doesn’t activate murderhobo stance.

At least none of them have fire attacks?

And you can write messages on it! (If it holds still.)
I wonder whether you can wash ink out of this specific parchment Dragon...

I'm curious to see what Parchment can do.

I'm just hoping MinMax doesn't invent origami.

Minmax's way of "inventing origami" would be to crush Parchment into a ball, which I guess is what you meant. Especially since Parchment is already origami.

I was thinking that too, but then I figured: "If I really wanted to, I could also write something on a rat"

You could say that Kin's chances are ...

Paper thin.

Curious to see what parchment can do except to move around. Most obvious answer would be if it can make writing appear on its surface - but then Kin knows Minmax can't read, so she'd be relying on whoever else is with him... maybe she will assume Forgath is there?
Otherwise, it could be a difficult game of charades - does Kin communicate with the familiar via 'empathetic link' like the OOTS by giantITP? or are there different rules here?

Parchment's taking a big risk here. Minmax will go "aaaahhhh monster" while the others will be very wary of something approaching from behind them.

I'm also stealing Parchment for my own games... we'll see how each of my three groups handles him...

If Parchment is a familiar, Kin should have an empathic bond with it, so maybe Minmax will be able to See her through it.

Good thing it's been around a while and many versions can be found online.

Expanding on the "make writing appear on Parchment's surface", what if he could also make line drawings appear. A quick picture of Kin would surely get Minmax's attention. ;)

No, she thinks Forgath is dead, thanks to Kore.

I understand Kin and Parchment are more exciting to talk about, but someone should mention the big hourglass!

so I'll do it...

Does anyone has any ideas regarding the huge hourglass?
What super creative trap/puzzle is Thunt planning for this?
Is that a glass screen partly covering a doorway?

also, why did (offscreen character, probably MM) say "how are we supposed to get past this?"
it looks to me like they can crawl under the glass screen without an issue.

At first I thought the bluish part was a back wall, but I think you're right: it's a screen that partly covers the doorway. Maybe the goblins will be able to get under but Minmax will be stuck on the other side. It could be interesting if Minmax is by himself when he encounters Parchment.

Also, I think the rod above the doorway is significant. It looks like it could be either turned or that someone could take it.

With all the anomalies in these crawls, it could be a time-machine of sorts, for all we know. You turn it over and get back in time some minutes.

The puzzle could rely on being in/at exact positions and do something at specific times which can be achieved by turning the glass.

The puzzle...

Ok I give up. It was too good of a chance to let it go waste, sorry! :D

If it helps, it looks like the entire room is made of sand so that may come into play somehow.

hourglasses are meant to be turned over.
Will the whole room flip too, so the sand (from the floor) can flow downwards again?
