I've got no problem with it, personally.

And honestly, the memory modification seems pretty straight-forward to me. Like Dlover said, just swap "temple"/"tower" for "hotel" and you solve 90% of issues. The fact that it's Cerebrum Tower is cool, but completely irrelevant - all that matters is it's the base of the Red Hand, who have partnered with the Sons of Aether, and are being led by Grimm. As far as I'm aware, none of that information is affected by the magic - only what their HQ building looks like/is called.

Things might get weirder once we're inside it, but maybe the effect only works while you're outside its walls? There must be some way to counter it, unless they also forget how it looks whenever they leave.

3 PCs are on Hostage team already, keep in mind. Or Alex and Haley could change teams, who knows

I'm fine with it. We still have player agency, and it's not odd for players to know information when characters don't.

There are, though mostly trying to fight their way in- Seems the Red Hand has taken a defensive position up right inside the hole they blew up.

Well, I certainly wasn't expecting this... But if anything, I stay true to the spirit of what I would believe the NPC's would do in a given situation- And this only made sense, sadly. Once I realized it, there was really no other course I could take... Who of you are interested in statting up a new character?

Plot twist: Alex survives because I've been pumping all his stats into defences and he has the christmas feature that halves all environmental damage. He just won't forking die.

On an aside, any of you guys got a sheet that's updated with all the new gen mons/abilities and such? Seems the sheet I'm basing all the stats on is missing some stuff still, so I should probably update that.

I'm realising Alex is marked as being... Pretty badly hurt. Pretty sure we've had no combat recently and that he should be in peak condition, but should probably check that.

Yeah, might be one round for Maku to get to the front and start making new entrances, though.
