I just love the fact the Wooloo literally rolls away from danger.

but yes we have the two legendaries "Most dangerous game of fetch." and "Solgeo cosplayer" Nice touch is the face the shield flares up in combat

I don't get why they are different legendaries, they clearly should have been the same legendary but with perhaps different abilities. Now I wonder what Gun Doggo or Armour Doggo would look like.

I'm going to get Shield Doggo.

I mean... :paranoia:

But yeah, is there anything else in range? Because if not then just the conscious Grunt is fine.

Let me just quickly see...

...Nah, don't think so. You could hit the commander maybe, but he's being grappled by Maku- So, yeah. That one grunt is definitely KO'd though.

I know Maku is running low, but essentially doubling his defenses should help. Again sorry for the delay.

Since grappling doesn't seem to need atk I opted to help out Izzy's stats first.

Oh yeah, Maku should still have that Excited buff you gave him at the start of the fight, right? Can I use that now to give him 5DR against that Psybeam that hit him? And would that be doubly effective because it's a super-effective attack?

(I don't know how cheerleaders work :paranoia: )

Yeah it's (Total damage - defense - damage reduction)*by type modifier.

Can't be reduced below one, and yes it would effectively block 10 damage all together. On the flip side it also means resisted types only get 2 reduction.

I'll do that for the Psybeam then, reduce the damage he took by 10.

Oh god... Who's the real one?!

It's the one on the bottom. The other one is an evil clone that will spontaneously combust next update.

Burns so you're aware: You can't dash and also release a pokemon (takes either a shift or standard action), and just because magical leaf is no miss doesn't mean it can't be intercepted.

Good question though, CAN Alex make ancient power physical?

Yup. Well, no. he can't. Using Ancient Power as a physical move is the result of one of Haley's features applied to fossil pokemon she revives. I'll double check which it is and edit it in, just a moment.

Edit: For some reason it wasn't on my sheet, so I looked it up in the book. Ancient heritage. Aaaaaand apparently it's "Your pokemon," so it seems like there was some mistake happening... Now I'm going to have to work out whether Tyr can actually have Ancient Power right now, and all sorts of nonsense. But it's late, so tomorrow. For the moment, just treat it as Bite instead, same DB thanks to Strong Jaw and he should be able to get into melee no problem.

Yes, but that only applies to their OWN pokemon:

Ancient Heritage
Prerequisites: Fossil Restoration
At-Will – Extended Action
Target: Your Fossil Pokémon with at least 2 Tutor Points
remaining
Effect: The target loses 2 Tutor Points and learns Ancient
Power. If the target has Ancient Power in its Level-Up
List, Ancient Heritage costs no Tutor Points. As a static
effect, whenever your Pokémon use Ancient Power,
its activated effect occurs on 18+ and you may always
choose whether it deals Physical or Special Damage,
using the appropriate attack Stat.

I suppose that technically also means Haley couldn't have used it on Alex's pokemon? :shifty:

Yeah, I'd found that same problem in what I edited into my above post. I don't remember what was going on when I set up the prep for that on my sheet.

And yeah, it would mean she couldn't use it on his pokemon. Technically Tyr was hers when she revived him, but I think we ruled that the effects of "Your pokemon" features are erased on being traded. 's part of stopping Mentor from being purely group support with zero benefits to the actual Mentor.

Edit: Quick check tells me Tyr has Ancient Power anyway because the little bastard is level 30 already from absolutely murdering that gym battle. But it can't be used as physical, so switching to Bite anyway.
