Right, well thanks for reassuring me that you're all totally cool, not-axe-murderers ... I'll just... Be over here :paranoia:

Although to be fair, I did know that if someone attacks your windpipe, your femoral artery is probably nice and safe :) the blood vessels in your neck are the jugular vein and carotid artery. Pretty sure that cutting either if those will kill you unless you've got an emergency medical team on stand by. Also, I believe cows have 2 carotid arteries. #the things you learn

Well, at least the discussion of "don't be mad at me for ninja murdering this guy" is moot for now... He heard him. Now it'd have to be a proper fight :o

I am afraid his current arrangement with Ms. Michigan will have to suffice for the near future...

I gotcher lady friend right here, pal. :glare:

(Is he supposed to conjure images of a total meth-head? Because he does. Still... if he's legit trading a shotgun for a bottle of water, which is unlikely; a) cool and b) damn, there's not much water here.)

Im actually betting that he is out of bullets...which is most likely...a shotgun can be a powerful intimidation piece. A bluff...if you will.

Oh, he almost certainly brought it up like that so he'd got a reason to point out that he -had- it, so yeah, intimidation. And he went for his knife, not his gun; if he had shells he'd have the gun pointed at you, imo. So I agree that he's probably out of ammo.

Still, I'd rather have a gun and no bullets than bullets and no gun; if he's being straight (which it still doesn't look like he is) and he's desperate enough that he -wants- to trade it for water...

We should sic Ros on him. Poor guy would drool himself dessicated.

What makes them think they are so special, we have four. :D

I *think* that cows brains are supplied differently, such that slitting the carotids doesn't halt blood supply to the brain, making that methods of dispatching a cow much messier and less humane as they can hang on for a while after.

It's funny...playing a secret agent has caused me to begin thinking like a secret agent.... What Would Secret Agent Man Do? or...WWSAMD

edit: decisions decisions....do I kill the guy...or do I try to trade with him water...or even a woman... (<-- I would never do that..I'm sure Mr. Green wouldn't either)... Or do I kill him for his comment about women..he seems...suspicious.

Ah, I see!

Thinks: I hadn't given Teaching much thought, it seems like a bit of a waste of a skill because its very circumstantial to level. Roslyn would certainly gain some Botany and Learning from having been shown and explained appropriate plants, so I suppose Teaching does fit. I was initially going to just grant SP in whatever relevent skill you are teaching about, so in this instance you gain some Botany SP, but less SP than Roslyn does. I suppose Teaching fits better though.

Thoughts on teaching, everyone?

Hold your right hand palm up towards your face...

You have a map of Michigan...

(Yes, also known as Rosy Palmer...and I suppose one could call it Mr. Michigan just as well but *eh* )

Teaching sort of exists, in SCH, but no one uses it, as it's mechanically better for both sides to reach by working together on a task (pooled skills means faster completion, better return).

So if Jani were to just sit down and try to reach Ros, it would be less effective under SCH than for them to work together at actually gathering plants along the way.

Yeah, combining skills to work on a task together sounds totally fine to me and keeps things simpler. Cool :)

I love how, as you play...you...find out more about your character....it's a strange thing...because..it's your character right...but...they still grow in ways that surprise even yourself.

Good luck keeping your suit clean after stabbing a guy in the heart. I suspect that might ooze a little

Yeah....I haven't decided yet...maybe it is his codename...

in that case he just needs a first name..thats snappy and short...

by the way...I can't get the image of an anime character out of my mind when I think of Mr. Green.
