Randy is the closest to being the walking armory: Halberd, 2 short swords, long bow, 3 knives.

He certainly had to go through more hazing than the rest of you! Providing survival in the short term, I'm sure Dornikal will tell you all about it.

Damn... That was my favourite lockpick!
Spider - Do you always treat 1's always a critical fumble? Or is it just when we're on rounds? Just curious since it's a house rule.

It's still recoverable, it's not lost.
It varies? I usually put in a bit of extra flavor, but usually not anything all that structured. I try to avoid mechanical penalties, as natural 1 and 20 only by RAW have meaning on attacks and some saves (death in particular), but not ability checks.

Aye ok, just curious.
I think I use them more or less the same, but always interested to hear how different people handle it.

Yea in 5e a nat 1 is not nessicarly a failure and a nat 20 is not nessicarly a success. I guess it's to prevent some of the 3.5 shenanigans of walking on clouds or bluff checks.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Since you guys have at least seen the map in portions, since Lurks is having disagreements with the firewall, I'll probably keep map postings to a minimum unless requested, or something seems to need/warrant it. It seems like most everyone is in stall mode or working on things that don't need visuals as much, but let me know if you need it. If we get to a point that it becomes necessary for sure, I'll resume posting them.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Sounds good to me. I think we know roughly where we all are at the moment
On a side note, now the alarm's been raised in the mine, I think it might not be a bad idea to kill those two at the entrance asap before reinforcements show up and we get swarmed...

You're closest... feel free to get things started.
Although, Randy, Ulmwin and Maji would be able to see that there is just one at the entrance, the guard orc ran in to sound the horn but hasn't yet returned.

Soooo, how certain are we that our cart is in those tunnels, and would a sufficiently big explosion just cave in the entrance?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
If you ask Dornikal/any of the other slaves they can give you a strong idea on the first point. The second point? Well Dornikal is a dwarf.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
If Maji can get closer to the entrance he can make it difficult terrain to walk in so that it would be harder for them to swarm He's still what.... uh...120' away?

More like 170 ft, you've been trying to sneak and hide rather than close the distance, so you're still a ways back.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
We already have a good idea that a cart could fit down there from last night's scouting mission.
An explosion could maybe work, but we'd need Randy's bomb gem or Holger I guess.

Not till 14th level sorcerer… That should really be an earlier ability to increase survivability!
Also the reason for why Holger should have that scimitar.. xD
