Spider, did you make that image of the snake monster with snake eyes yourself or did you find it?
Also there is a spot open in Tests in Trials if anyone is interested.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I cobbled together a few things I found in a google image search, found a 3 headed snake and just gave it snake eyes.
I'd have an interest.... Dug up your recruitment thread and posted there.

So it appears its finaly the time for Holger to find a place to settle and call home and exert his magical provess over his demesne!
In other words, the stronghold and followers book is out now
Have you had a chance to look at it yet?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I have the PDF, I've skimmed the whole thing, but haven't read it through yet. I much prefer reading physical books over digital, but they were saying not until maybe March for that, so I'll probably read through it at some point in the next few weeks.

Now that three non-cursed folks are tanking it for you, is this when the rest of you follow Holger's lead and run away?

Dornikal has one more round in him at the rate he has been taking damage, that thing's plus eight to hit is nasty business.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Hmmm....might be best for Dornikal to fall back and let the ranged folks work this thing over for a while. Or at least go get some healing done before tanking in again.

That would be the wisest thing to do but as long as he is feeling the holy rage he isn't backing up, for better or worse!

Same with Maji, asides from the holy part.

Gonna be in a meeting for half the morning, then they've got me booked pretty solid for the rest of it. I'll try to check in when I can.

It's a shame Coljin is clearly colored, otherwise we could have had a lot of fun with "WHICH TAIL DO I HIT?!"

Let's hope that the snake people aren't in charge or that there isn't a snake cult present when we get to the city, otherwise we're gonna get burned at the stake!

In Estmont? Nahhh. Further south? Probably.
Also Dornikal speaks orcish but he isn't going to interact with Renny. Probably would be pretty obvious in game.

Maybe at least suss things out before you try to find a buyer for all the dried body parts you've got Renny collecting.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
The gems found are worth far more than the coin and 2/3 of them can be made more (or less) valuable by Dornikal. They have value of 1200 gold now.
Are you okay waiting for him to work the gems and then distribute them? The coin can be distributed evenly to all (including the merchants), yes? I went ahead and did that so everyone got 14 copper, 22 silver, 7 gold and 3 platinum (shorting Dornikal on platinum (1), gold (3), silver (0) and copper (1)) on the loot page.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Sounds okay with me. With a little clever bartering, we may be able to get something from the snake skins and heads. If we had a poisoner's kit (and someone with a profiency to use it) we could collect the venom as well.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Yeah, I'm fine with Dornikal working the gems. I assume we've figured out IC that he's a bit of a jeweler given the amount of time he's been working on various projects so far?

Zephyr and Randy certainly know. Anyone familiar with Dumathoin would probably guess it, and Dornikal has tried to make everyone familiar with his god!

Yep, and he has a secret (from the merchants) project. Most of his free time probably goes to it. Not sure where Tess was during the necklace making for Zephyr but she knew.

She was probably learning spells and stuff, but the cave was pretty small for secrets

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
In case you all forgot, Randy DOES have Detect Magic and has for some time. Just that Ulmwin and then Nem were so eager to do it, Randy's never mentioned it before.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I'd forgotten he had it too. Benefit to bards, clerics, druids and wizards is they can cast it (and others) as a ritual, rather than needing to spend a spell slot. Of course, can't always take 10 minutes to cast it, and always good to have someone else who is able to as well, in case the full casters are tapped!
