As Dornikal makes his round of the caravan he asks, towards the caravan,
"So are we just planning to wait here? Or? Does the ferret thing know which way the snake went?"

None the less, Ulmwin follows. From a distance.

Nem will go to Ily normally, then hold onto Holger to reconnect with ily. Then she'll follow him at 100 feet range as he tracks, reaady to recall him if he senses a snake or ground rumbles or whatever.

Dornikal watches as two snake cursed people wander off in the wrong direction towards the snake.
"What are ye doing? Why would ye?"
He looks to Randy then to Szartha.
"Why are they....?"

Re: The Sundered Way
Randy shakes his head and follows along 30 ft. behind Holger and Tess, bow at ready and trying to be stealthy and observant at the same time.
perception: 1d20+3 = [5] = 8
Stealth: 1d20+5 = [12] = 17
(( I guess this means he will be able to safely watch/sneak away as the snake he missed seeing eats Tess and Holger. ))

As Dornikal watches Randy head out as well he moves over to Szartha,
"Why would cursed folk head towards the thing that's cursed to want to eat'm? Are they being forced by the curse to do it?"
"Do we wait here? Should we go with them?"

"I don't feel any compulsion of going myself, so I think they're just... Wanting to make sure it's far enough away?" Ulmwin shrugs, again reiterating his point he thinks it's a bad idea.

Maji facepalms as the others goes twords the snake, deciding he's not going to be snake food he walks with the others, and letting natural selection take the reckless of the group.

Re: The Sundered Way
((Assuming the rest of the group doesn't decide to just leave the snake hunters behind...))
To Galt/Tren and to Szartha for approval,
"Going to climb up a bit and take a look around. Not going out of sight of the caravan for any reason. If ye can't see meh something is wrong."
Dornikal climbs a dune that would let him see in the direction the group is moving (and all directions if possible) but where he is visible to the rest of the group and he can see them. Once there he will scan the desert in all the directions he can, remembering the last ambush.
((Perception at disadvantage if needed:
Scanning the desert: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [5, 17]+4 = 9
))

Re: The Sundered Way
Tess and Holger take off after Ily, with Ulmwin tagging along. Randy shrugs and Dornikal's questioning the wisdom of their actions and heads off in a support roll, gliding silently across the sand.
Dornikal turns to Szartha, in hope of a better answer. "I'm not sure... suppose they want to know what it is we might be facing, but I'd rather stick close to the wagons."
Maji and Zephyr stick near the wagons as well, Galt and Tren taking their cue from Szartha, and keeping an eye on Dornikal as he climbs a dune to try to be able to have a visual on both the scouts and the wagons. It's hard to see where Tess and Holger went, the trail kind of loses itself to his eye among the dunes.
Holger and Tess move the west, somewhat north of the roadway, and look into the vast desert.
((Perception checks at disadvantage?))

Holger decides to use his magic to enhance his senses as they reach the edge of how far they will go.
