Dornikal, Holger, Coljin, Zephyr, Randy, Galt and Ulmwin, along with four of the mules, weren't able to sleep well the previous day.
This day, Dornikal, Galt and Ulmwin manage to block it the thrumming enough to get a decent rest, while Maji, Renny and Tess also manage to do so for the second day in a row.
Randy, Coljin, Zephyr and Holger, are not so lucky, the noise keeping them up for a second night running. Holger manage to rouse themselves come evening, but poor Coljin and Randy are dragging on two poor sleeps in a row.
Szartha and Tren don't get a good night's rest, but thankfully the only mule that doesn't seem well rested and ready to go is one that was pretty chipper the day before, so your animals are at nearly full strength.
Zephyr is having a rough time of it, moving slowly about camp as you get ready to move, pausing and yawning mightily as she tries to get around. She's so tired, she doesn't fight Tren when she insists on walking and makes sure the tiefling (one of two, now) is seated next to Szartha.
By middle of the night, Szartha and Tren seem to be doing well, though the sleep deprived mule is looking rough.

"Maji, not sure if you are wanting to play beast of burden again, but think Dusty here could use a rest.", Szartha calls as you stop for a brief break.

Holger nods at Tess' request and will spend the time to attune to it at the cost of his attunement to the ring of dodging. He'll ask to not be disturbed and stay secluded in the wagon. Once there he'll close it off and start playing a simpel tune on his old lyre opening his mind.

Nem will drive the cart while Holger's in the back, mostly just listening to him play, and occasionally humming bits of a counter melody quietly to herself and enjoying the view of the stars overhead until Holger has news to share.
At some point, whenever the group pause for lunch or whatever, she'll chat to Randy:
"Did you still want to talk tomorrow me about something love? With everything that happened yesterday, I'd forgotten."

The party moves onward, trudging onward through the desert.
Dornikal thought he saw something, but after rubbing his eyes, can't make anything out. They travel onwards, and Maji the horse hears a faint sound like sand being rubbed against stone, only moments before a huge serpentine head raises up above the sand, tongue flicking as it moves its head side to side before dropping back down and winding its way eastward towards the group! Behind it, another head... and another... and behind them, and even larger monstrosity, with three necks rising out of a thick, serpentine body. Atop each of those heads, where the eyes should be, rise smaller snake heads like eyestalks, giving the overall creature the appearance of a three headed slug... though long, toothy and serpentine.
The heads hiss and snap a challenge into the night air.
Dornikal does notice that.

The three smaller snakes seem to be about 50 feet distant, but closing fast, while the three headed monster is 65 ft away, and seems to be letting the others move in first.

Dornikal will belated yell, "SNAKES"
Taking a look over his shoulder at the wagons and people on them he charges 20ft towards the nearest snake roaring "DUMATHOIN!" and hurls a javelin at it before pulling out his spear and moving 5ft backwards to position himself as best he can so the snakes will need to go by/through him to get to the wagons.
"COME AND GET MEH!"
Javelin attack snake: 1D20+6 = [12]+6 = 18
Javelin attack snake damage: 1D6+4+1D6+2 = [3]+4+[1]+2 = 10
((So - rage, move, attack, equip spear, move. Unsure about the spear equipping? ))

((Ok, I've got a map roughed out, what order would the carts be in? One is being driven by Szartha with a sluggish Zephyr in the passenger seat, I think Tess is driving one (with Holger), and I think Ulmwin is driving the other (vehicle proficency)? Which wagon would be in the lead, middle or rear?))

Maji would prefer to be at the front wagon. Also does it need to be driven if the thing that is dragging is Maji?
