Ulmwin would know that fire is generally effective, and certain types of undead are susceptible to other types of damage, depending. Fire probably did the job, but it would be good if Tess and Randy make sure.

Randy strikes down at the heart, the blow knocking some of the charred bits off, and while it has some give to it, the halberd doesn't seem to have penetrated or left much of a mark at all.

"That didn't look very effective... Why don't we just dump it in the brazier and see if it just needs a little longer in the fire?"

If Randy agrees, Nem will let Randy light a brazier and get clear, then will use her mage hand to scoop the heart up and plop it into the flames.

Ulmwin's gonna start moving down, making sure the others haven't gotten in some kind of battle trying to kill this thing... And that it's actually dead.

The brazier is lit, and somewhere up above, Ulmwin is casually sauntering towards Randy and Tess.

Tess picks up the heart once Randy backs away, and drops it in the brazier where the same screaming hiss sounds.

Randy retreats to the exit, but stops once he's on the ramp and warily watches the heart burn. He'll start up again if there's a lot of smoke, otherwise he's going to make sure of the bloody thing this time.

While that is happening, Maji tries to push the sarcophagus to the lower floor. He points to Holger, and motions him closer before Maji pushes the sarcophagus slightly.

"Making sure you two are okay and not being eaten by a demon! But, point taken..!" Ulmwin says, turning around and dashing back upstairs.

Holger shrugs and tries to help Maji push it, after making sure it isn't part of the ground. as he pushes it towards the stairs he'll consider how mummy resurrection might work with his arcane knowledge, trying to figure out if this is a waste of time.

Not as much smoke, and eventually the sound stops. Randy doesn't have a visual on the heart from where he stands.

The sarcophagus seems partially built into the wall, with the retracting lid and all, but Maji heaves on it with Holger's help. From what Holger recalls, any resurrection would be tied less to an object like a coffin, and more to an item like a preserved heart.

Zephyr stands around impatiently.

((A passage suddenly opens up behind Zephyr for her to go run off and explore. ))

Remembering that the top of the ramp is what moves, Zephyr takes the time to place the two boxes, one on top of the other on the top of the ramp. She sits down beside them, to stabilize them when the whole thing moves, she's become tired of both walking and waiting. (She'll be out of the way so that the others don't run into her.)

Randy cautiously moves forward. Remembering suddenly that no one actually looked in the urn per se, he trots across the room to look in it with the lantern.

There is some dust in it, but it is otherwise empty.

Peeking into the brazier, you see a baleful bit of heart under the fluid level...

"Let's drop this Maji.. it's nothing more than a resting place. The organs are where the power is at and if it is destroyed then all will be good here."

Holger will sit at the top of the stairs and wait for the others to come up again.
