As the others start running away from the caravans, Zephyr hesitates. Perhaps drawing us away from our supplies is their plan, she thinks to herself, whoever these people are. Zephyr hangs back and moves back toward the middle of camp, senses heightened towards the opposite direction from where people are running.

Coljin also, is not leaving the campsite at the moment, he instead looks NW from camp, where he last saw Tess head, and tries to locate her after a quick cantrip of guidance.

Zephyr moves back towards the mules, where Tren and Szartha are blocking the wheels to keep the wagons in place.
Coljin scans the dunes to the northwest... no Tess, but he does pick out the veiled head of a figure lying prone on the dune on the other side of the low stone barrier walls in that direction. Only the barest glimpse of eyes, banded above and below by cloth that blends in with the sand, once he notices it for what it is, he spots another as well hidden, and two others, one a bit more obvious where some sand had slumped downward.
That same slumped sand catches Zephyr's eye. ((Dude #2 counting from the top.))
((Guidance would be taking your action to cast, but your roll was good enough that I'm going to say you did the check without it rather than making you spend this turn casting it and rolling a Perception check next turn.))

"Agreed. Maj is the priority. If we could grab the yokel without exposing ourselves, fine, but I'm not going to risk life and limb for him. If you and Galt can get Maj, I'll guard until we get him out of here. We grab him on the run and get to the dune top before we stop. We'll leave the yokel for his friends to take care of."

((Maybe, maybe not. It appears to be a short range attack that requires concentration. Meaning that they can't rush you and use it at the same time. And I've not seen more than 4 together in one attack so far. That could just mean that there hasn't been more than 4 in one place, or it might mean a limiter on the number who can work together. Depending on how this plays, they might not be the only ones capable of producing a nasty surprise. That being said, I'm going apologize to both Maj and Dornikal ahead of time in case you get caught in the backwash of something Randy does. You'll survive it [and probably be wide awake afterwards, if a bit uncomfortable]. These guys probably won't if the first one is any indicator. ))

Randy curses, aims, whispers under his breath, then let's fly at the kneeling figure.
long bow: 1D20+5 = [19]+5 = 24
long bow damage: 1D8+3 = [2]+3 = 5
Hail of Thorns: 1D10 = [1] = 1
Total damage to target: 6
Randy's arrow flies true, striking the kneeling figure center of mass, then exploding into a shower of splinters, not really causing a lot of damage, but definitely startling in effect.
