Nemeia was not there, and I think Holger was a plant.

"Hmmph, that's the thanks I get for risking my life for you guys.. We're fighting plants so killing the root will cause the rest to wither away so better destroy it right away before the rest of the blights swarms us down here. I'm sure Zephyr and Rudolph got balls enough to stave off the plants as it gets bombarded, if you'd rather sit this one out."

"They must have hit you hard Holger. You are not thinking this through. The rest of us are going to retreat and get magic restored before going in there." states Coljin forcefully, and talking a bit slower and louder than he usually does.

((One nature check coming up.))
nature: 1D20+3 = [12]+3 = 15

"Nobody's saying you didn't do a lot, Holger. But a story told by someone else about you is a poor exchange for being able to tell the story yourself. Dead heroes are a copper a dozen and do no one anymore good. The world needs live ones. Those are the ones that become legends."

Nemeia squeezes Holger's hand gently and says to the group: "We're all hurt, but Holger might be right. They lured us here already, if we try and fight our way back we might not make it there either. There are a lot more behind us on the main entrance ramp, and somethings cleaned up the upper level. We're here now. Maybe we should just use what we have and kill this thing now while we have the chance?"

((Randy, the information the flumphs imparted matched what you'd read about blight infestations in the past. There blights stemmed from a single more powerful, intelligent individual, often reported as being rather tree-like, and infestation would persist until this controlling influence was cut and burned out. Beating back the smaller blights was futile in the long run if the 'master blight' wasn't destroyed, but once it was, the other blights would lose direction and quickly succumb. You would seem to have two options... push on with your injured and magically depleted party and attempt to destroy it while its forces are dispersed and weakened as well, or retreat and recover your own strength, but give the blights the chance to do the same, and face an unknown defensive force when you do return.))

"And no tales are told of those dying while fleeing. We have to strike the creature while it's mostly unprotected. If someone well armored takes a defensive stance while moving in we can kill the kindle before they can react and leave it wide open!"

Maji shakes his head to both of the options and grinning a bit deviously.

(There is a third option.)

(It is not fire! Though it might include fire in it. It involves Trapping, traps, boards and barricades, and quite possibly fire.)

Coljin will slow himself and wait and see what the others are doing.
He would prefer to go back to the safe room, but he has already learned he does not have a lot of experience in battle tactics so...he will follow Randy's lead. (So, basically, if we do vote, Coljin's vote will be the same as what Randy votes)

His only comment, "I have no healing left. Potions, spells, or other abilities."

Randy speaks quietly "I'm out of spells. I have a potion left. I think Ulmwin might have something. I don't know what Rudy may have. Let's move back a bit. The master blight might be able to hear us."

Twigmen: Attack on Randy: 1D20+3 = [17]+3 = 20

During a very talkative 6 seconds, a twig blight arrives and slashes at Randy.

(To be honest I don't know who's turn it is! Maji wouldn't want to stay where he is, and want to get his board back. I was just waiting on the others)

Let's have new initiative order?
