It only fixes breaks and splits, so he can fix the damage done without making the wood any less old and worn. Let's have him do that.

So I just realized that Varsk is the only one in our party that can fight effectively in melee. Everyone else is a ranged combatant best kept further-than-arms'-length away from a fight. Despite me wanting to keep her high and out of the way, Syli is actually one of the better choices for going toe-to-toe with an enemy that we have right now.

What's the status of the lizard group?

Looks at Mehr yeah, this guy took two stabs and collapsed. But hey, Warlocks are basically melee wizards. We can throw Gwen in there. :p

All right, sorry for the delay in getting this up, it needed a solid chunk of time to go through everything and get the maps sorted out and that just hasn't been feasible lately. If I've missed anything or you have any questions, comments or concerns just shout and we'll sort it out.

With CoyoteCode down it seems, I went back to Unseen Servant. However, I no longer have my password for it, and the email account it was connected to no longer exists, so I had to create a new account. The old rolls for Syli that I did on Unseen Servant should still be up, I just can't do any more under that account. Just a heads up in case anyone looks at my rolls and wonders why I've got two accounts.

Don't worry about it, I trust you guys :) the only times I'd ever check rolls is if you start running multiple crits or high rolls in a row, but by and large I don't check. I do appreciate you using rollers that save your rolls tho - I think it helps keep everyone honest :)

Soon I promise! I'm struggling to adapt to my new faculty schedule a bit lately, and there's been a lot of stuff draining my brain power. I've just cleared some stuff off my desk though, so you'll have an update today.

Sorry for the slowness- a tired brain doesn't make for creative d&ding!

As well as any caster that doesn't rely on them :P

Also true, although you do need your focus and/or components for a lot of the good spells. Depends who's asking you to leave your stuff behind I guess :)

I was surprised how much an unarmed barbarian zealot can do as well.

A conscious barbarian zealot can do more than a sleeping one.

Yeah, I'm recovering from Thanksgiving. And regretting that I haven't taken better part in this game. I feel like navigating the swamp was supposed to have been a ranger-type challenge for Kal, only I couldn't figure out how to apply what skills he currently has. I do appreciate your patience with me and Kal's side quest. But I should mention that I'm meeting Thunt in LA this weekend. It came together at the last minute. So I'll be gone again. Eventually I'll get to catch my breath...

As someone who knows, Dornikal did some impressive stuff before you all showed up. It's all saved somewhere, but is a lot of reading to go through!

My barbarian zealot gator man used to be able to do radiant damage by biting people as well as punching.

Don't worry about it at all wears. I don't plan encounters for specific folk or skill sets per se (although I do try and balance things a bit) - I like to just give you guys situations and see what you do with them.

And if there's anything Kal-specific that the group needs, spider's been pretty good at suggesting tasks for him :)

Nah- I'll give you proficiency in swimming, but not in being suddenly being dragged underwater :)

If Varsk wants to do a BM maneuver I would roll an athletics (as suggested) and need to succeed three times to learn a maneuver.

Is he still limited to 4 attempts per rest as he isn't exactly using a superiority die? I ask because it will likely change how he attempts them.

Hmm... Good question. Forcing them to cost a full action doesn't make sense so yeah, a four-attempt limit sounds reasonable to me if it works for you.

Can you please keep track of your successes / failures for each one? I don't mind how, and I'll trust your honesty but I will definitely lose track if I have to do it :)
