Lizard Group

The lizardfolk stops dead in its tracks and looks around in confusion, swaying slightly on its feet, before growling again and shaking its head as it continues into the grass. A couple of seconds later there is a loud splash.

Gwen lights up the moltov and throws it at the shed.
Throwing: 1D20+3 = [6]+3 = 9

After she throws it, she quickly climbs down into a bush.

(At least a shed is ac 5 :p)

Kal scans around again before following the lizard towards the water.

Perception: 1D20+1 = [16]+1 = 17
Mostly offline/inactive due to chronic health issues. PM me if you really need attention.

Lizard Group

Kal follows the lizardfolk to the water's edge, where it is lying on its stomach, arms in the water to the elbows. For a moment, Kal is concerned that it has been collapsed again, but a moment's pause indicates that it seems to simply be guzzling water from the canal.

Everything seems quiet.

"Kal? Don't go too far out of sight..." Korrik calls out a bit worriedly.

Gwen panics slightly and grabs a leavy branch, hoping it would be dry enough. She tries to get some fire on the leaves.

She hexes one of the lizards (wisdom skill check disdvantage) as bonus action, and if she has time she'll eldrich blast that lizard and drop the hopefully burning stick in the shed. Then if she has movement left, she goes back into the bush for cover.

Varsk idly wonders if they should have made a signal for Syli to get them when she saw something. Too late now, and at least he wasn't out in the rain. To Vaceran, moderately quiet,

"What time you think it is?"

((Gwen: the foliage is all soaking wet from the rain. If you have a torch or anything in your pack, it'd probably be dry enough to use, but grabbing it, lighting it, and chucking it in the window will take your full turn.))

(Okay, Gwen has some paper she'll use to do that.)

Syli continues to wait patiently for her chance; if one of the figures moves to where she has a clean shot (read: no cover and preferably no disadvantage), she'll take the shot.

((Actually, Syli is within range of the shed and can see through the open doorway. They'd still have partial cover, but if she wants to trigger her shot for when she sees a shadow move into the doorway (i.e. probably leaving), she can do that if you want?))

Kal waits for him to finish drinking, scanning around for trouble.

Let's go with that then. Here's an attack roll in case the opportunity presents itself:

Syli Shortbow (+5): 15 to-hit, 9 piercing damage, 5 poison damage (DC15 CONsave Negates)

Druid Group

Gwen darts out of cover, twisting a fistful of paper from her bag into kindline and rushing to the shed. The paper doesn't want to light in the terrible weather, but eventually begins to smoulder and she chucks it through the window as a cry of surprise goes up from the trees behind her. With no time left to make sure the shed's caught fire, she spins around and hexes the first lizardfolk she sees.

Inside the shed, there's another shout of surprise and some banging as the two from inside try to make their way out.

As the first is framed in the doorway, Syli lets fly with an arrow straight to the centre of the shape and it seems to stumble. Gwen hears a yelp of surprise from inside the shed, but her attention is caught up by the cries of the two or three lizardfolk from behind her.

We're now on Turn Order

Turn Order
Varsk
Syli
Lizardfolk Group 1 [shed]
Valemgadro
Lizardfolk Group 2 [east]
Vaceran
Gwen
Mehriv
Lizardfolk Group 3 [east]

---------------------------------------------------

Lizard Group

Neither Kal nor Korrik see or hear anything untoward as the lizardfolk drinks his fill. After a couple of long minutes, it stands up, nods to Kal in thanks and grunts as it gestures for your group to follow it as it dives into the water.

Varsk is holding a posioned crossbow attack for whoever opens the door, especially since he probably didn't hear anything.

Readied crossbow attack: 2D20.HIGH(1)+5 = [19, 2]+5 = 24

Readied action crossbow damage, DC16 con or poison damage: 1D8+3 = [6]+3 = 9
1D4 = [4] = 4
(9 piercing, 4 poison)

(You switched group names.)

How deep is the water? Are we near the canoe?

((Thanks! Fixed the names.

You'd need to either plough through the tall grass to get to the canoe (about 15 feet away; difficult terrain), or go around and back the way you came (more like 60 feet). The water is dark and brown, but seems to be a few feet deep at least))
