Artho nods.

"Good. Lead the way."

((Cool. I'll let Theis have a chance to post if he wants to do anything else en route, otherwise we'll press onwards with the journey and do a bit of a timeskip)).

<I won't hurt you, nor this land. I did not mean to intrude. Point me to a more secluded place around here and I will get out of your way.>

The creature startles at the voice speaking in its mind.

"Anyone who can speak that filthy language is not welcome here! Go back to where you came from and leave this place be."

((I'll take a History check from Gwen please))

Varsk looks at him and grins,

"No idea. Can't you ask the trees or something?"

Goroth raises an eyebrow, and replies, quite seriously:

"No."

Varsk shakes his head in disappointment,

"They wandered into the trees. If ye can't find them I can go and represent us."

Gwen can only assume that her choice of Deep Speech has gone down badly with the dryad, and the little creature seems in no mood to explain. It throws another nut at her:

"Get away from my tree!"

<I am sorry! I didn't mean to upset you or anything! I didn't know it would. I ...I don't mean any harm.> Gwen gets up from the tree, sulking a bit and trying to find Mehriv.

Gwen wanders back to the campground where Varsk is doing a bit of sparring by himself. There's no sign of Mehriv here but she finds him easily enough, sitting by himself, apparently meditating.

Gwen sits down beside of Mehriv and opens her book. She tries thinking at it this tme instead of speaking, not really expecting a response.

Startled out of his focus, Mehr turns his attention to the owner of the hand, releasing a slow breath.

Kal follows along, digesting what Merric has said and trying to match it up with anything he's previously learned.

Merric will look for a source of fresh meat and ask the others to do the same, but otherwise follow along

Druid Group

Gwen's "dream":
► Show Spoiler

Next to her, Mehriv jumps and brings her out of her reverie. Mehriv manages not to blow anything up, and the pair look up to find Goroth standing over them, with Varsk nearby.

"The elders are ready to see you again. Where is your druid?"

----------------------

Lizard Group

The group March onwards through the swamp, making decent progress now they've found the markers. The trail winds further south for about an hour, passing deeper and deeper water, until it eventually seems to end at a small, quiet, overgrown dock. A little house on stilts is here off to one side, but it seems to be in a state of some disrepair and there is no evidence that anyone has lived here in some time. A half-submerged canoe is tied up at the dock by a frayed rope.

There is no sign of the hawk.

Gwen is startled when Mehriv suddenly jumps up, flinching. She moves her gaze to Goroth and slowly gets up. "I do not know, I will try to find her."

They were dirty and weathered, so certainly not brand new, but equally, they all seemed to be in place. It would be hard to guess, but you can give me an INT check if you like.
