Too bad the mayor isn't listening anymore or we could tell him that the building is a healing miracle and that the sick will come seeking it's restorative powers and that they could gain many people and allies through it's use.

thats acctually pretty clever, the orcs could put in a good word for us and stop with the raiding ?

I think trying to raise the dead might end badly no matter what.. If they come back as an undead, horror ensues. If only a specific person comes back they might get a bit mad about only that person and not the others (and freaked out since this is a low magic setting).

Double post because I can

Actually I was thinking we could try to pool together our points and bless the town with increased fertility which could bring both new people and renew the happiness in the village and distract them from the death of the sickness

Can I retract my point investment and start saving up for a new character instead as Elore likely won't survive your wrath? :shudder: ;)

^Mort, I would suggest that you try to "dissolve" your body back into "some" points instead.

I mean...if you could save a bit of the initial investment...that would be nice yes?

I think m0rt was joking due to my comment in the game thread...

That said... I will tell this thing for free.. You cannot dissolve back into God form just like that... If anything it would cost points... The points used to create the body and to go into it has already been spend.

LAYF, please note that I changed my "Force Contact" with the mayor from 2 points to 1. granted...if after 1 month, he's willing to try to listen to us again without using a point, I would prefer to try that instead..

That is noted :)

Tea and Nonstickfigure has not responded, but that's okay. It will still be a bit before the update as my time is a bit limited today.

One thing, I've decided to change the requirements for gaining the one ip per update, now, as long as you post once in a while you will gain a point each update, even if you don't post. That is to avoid two things, one, I don't want to punish people double if they don't have time to post (both missing an action and a point)
And two, I don't want people to feel forced to post something just to gain the point :)

Between being busy and not really sure what to do this round anyway (it's looking like it's a bad time for resurrecting the tunnel-monster because the town has quite enough to deal with already and I don't want to mess with any of the plans of the other gods), this change in rules is appreciated.

On the other hand,...that orc-hunting zombie tunnel-monster is still something I'm considering setting in motion. Especially if things don't go so well with these new orcs.

Phew... That was a long update...

I decided to draw Kayala... I think the update shows why...

About the skilled folsk, the baker is already drawn... Mirimi took that job (she was the female rider)

I'll look into making more in the coming week...

Yo, Spider, you should tell Elore about this shit.

Also, OOC, the ghost transferring the wound to Elore is all that was seen, right?

@ asks, I dunno what you are trying to do, but I don't think what you put into your post will bring the goblins over to your side.

At least you're an elf, so it's unlikely that the goblins will declare war on our town because of your ... actions.

So...
I have a suggestion.

I've noted one "flaw" in my update system. And that is when you guys and gals use points to leant stuff.
Basically, as it is now, a whole month passes before you can gain any answers... And that seems a bit dumb I think...

So my suggestion is. Whenever you as a god (not avatar) declare you want to use a point to learn something. I'll take it that you do so "between months"
And will inform you right away, here in OOC.

If you are in avatar form, I'll look if you are close enough to what you want to learn about. And if you are, I'll also answer here as soon as I can.

That way, you get a chance to ask extra questions/clarification. And you have a chance to react to your new knowledge.
The point(s) used will of course be "locked" so you cannot change/regret your question...

How does that sound? I think it is more fair to you guys and makes more sense...
-Best regards LAYF
