I tried to have a few enemy NPCs around in the maps to give the impression you weren't fighting in a vacuum. They were pretty much as hostile as a tent :D. I point out the enemies acting hostile in text.

There are troops running all over the place and one burning tent isn't getting as much attention as whatever is to the east and south. Feel free to take out more of them if you'd like!

(Let me know if you want the action back, I wasn't clear on that)

Nah, Jaq just wanted to be able to get to the main tent and not be attack from behind.

A tent is just a downgraded gazebo and quite possibly have the same strengths and weaknesses of a gazebo, just smaller size and less hp. it’s no wonder Jaq attacked it.

Poor Hep won't even get a proper burial unless we will the wyvern and bury it...

If you wait 12-18 hours and follow close behind the wyvern you can...

Lurn's not going to be happy about that one, but trying to recover the bodies would just get more people killed, and he can't bury all these corpses either way.

They are going to be a lot of bodies after this battle. It has only been a handful of few minutes yet since it started.

How does Lurn/Kelemvor feel about cremation?

If it's intentional and the ashes are interred or intentionally spread? Counts as a proper burial. Burning in a battlefield? That soul probably isn't getting its peace. Better than the body just rotting, though.

What about being eaten by a semi-intelligent creature? How does that fall on the scale?

An impromptu sky burial?

Hm... That one's probably better than accidental cremation and worse than a proper burial. At least it contributes to the life cycle.

@Spider, how much fighting magic users did Kroshav do prior to joining the group? I was considering the DC on the arcana roll but didn't have a good sense of his experience he has to scale it appropriately.

Probably not much, unless it's common among the minor evils that a hedge Knight would be correcting as he travels the lands.

If he talks to Lurn later he'll be able to get a decent idea; Clerics that cause pain with a touch sounds a lot like Inflict Wounds, something Lurn himself can do, but never has. I don't know of any other cleric touch spells that do damage, regardless.

That's what I was thinking, but Kroshav is probably only equipped to tell the obvious ones like fire and lightning.

Especially considering his roll to work it out was a -1. :p

I trust Lurn wouldn't have to make any impressive rolls to recognise a spell he himself can cast, when there aren't any similar ones? Watch it require a 2 and my -1 to int drop a nat 1 to 0.

Nah, he'd recognize it on sight without needing a roll. He wouldn't see the resistance provided however.

Question is, was Lurn watching Kroshav who was on the other side of an ogre, a hob warrior and three other allies close enough?

Not watching Kroshav, no, but he's seen the clerics use it quite a few times previously - it seems to be their go-to move when in melee - and he doesn't know of any other similar spells.

True, they used it on Jaq and tried before on Kroshav.

Jaq got off easy, he's only got a tainted hand. Kroshav might be corrupted by hoobris!
