Slem shoots fire right in its face, to which it blinks in surprise and croak-craks. Two more heads breech the surface, the three of them looking about, then croaking in anger as they see the body of the fourth being dragged away.

((Miasma and Sluj, make a Dex save for me!))

My game:
Hunters of Letrua; Character list
Also Player / Monster stats, skill lists.

My characters:
Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)
Alex Sparo, A city boy, poor of sight, who has learned to manipulate people and make the most of what he, and others, have - Trinity Isles (Run by Mort)
Mehriv Turajin, a Noble Dragonborn Sorcerer sent from his clan because he wasn't dragony enough. - The Wandering Archipelago (Run by Thinks)

The creatures in the pool splash near boiling water at the two mules, Miasma managing to avoid the worst of it, but Sluj isn't so fast! Both feel their mule hide blistering painfully.

(( Fire/heat resistance. Nice! Fred's got a good one to absorb. UnderSlem's fire bolt isn't going to do much. I don't suppose he's got Ray of Frost? They'd probably take double damage from that.))

((Nope! Underslem is a one trick pony. They are probably firenewts meaning they are immune to fire damage. I know that but Underslem probably just figured that out...

Underslem and the fire immune creatures?: 1D20+2 = [11]+2 = 13

Yep.))

(( Hmm. Just take the body, the weapons, and run? Since we don't have ranged weapons or an effective ranged attack, might be best. All they have to do is hang out in the middle of the big pot of boiling water and splash at us. ))

Take the body and the weapons...otherwise Fred might just get a bit clingy again...

Gnomz starts pulling a little faster when the hot water starts flying. "Not good, not good, not good..."

On Sluj's turn it will be moving out of reach of the splashing.

Fred is going to disengage himself back to where he can support Gris if he should retreat...

(Did we leave weapons there?)

Fred was already out of range, since you backed up from the body so Gomz could grab it, but yes, Gomz has the shield and sword he put on the body, the others are still by the pool.

((Ah. My intention was to grab all the swords as well as the shield and body and pull them back. If it leaves Gnomz in too close range to the pool with all the splashing, we'll go with what we have. GM's discretion. ))

((Same issue with grabbing all of the swords and a body as there would have been the first time you tried. Limited object interactions while in turn order, it'd take you 2-3 turns to do that.
You were able to drop the sword and shield you had on the body, and drag it 10 ft from the pool. You can keep dragging this turn, or try to dart back for more weapons and hope to get away clean. If you keep dragging, you can pull it 20 ft if you use movement and action.))

(So we're backing off? Gris might be able to grab something lighter if we are.)

(( If UnderSlem will start dragging, Gnomz is willing to try for the other two swords. The newts(?) seem to be reluctant to come out of the water with a mob waiting for them. They might be a little more inclined to make an issue of it if they're armed.))

Underslem grabs the dead thing and takes over the pulling towards the exit at top possible speed.

(I will change my action to slide over to the weapons area and ready to strike if any of the red crokers attempts to grab them...)

(Since I asked in my turn looking for guidence on FREDS but didn't get back before the others reacted...to the table information... )
