The light of the archway flows around Gomz, and he appears on the balcony to the left.

Gomz, it's slightly warm on your naked bits, but then you emerge facing the wall and large metal door of a different balcony, a glowing arch behind you, and your siblings to your left.

Gnomz cuts a caper. "Wheee! Fun! Where are we, Slem?" Gnomz looks at Slem with expectation.

Underslem opens its meat mouth and produces noise as best it can,

"HERE! WE ARE HERE." It flinches at the loud noise it produced and tries again, "Master provides more food. There!"

It points to the hallway with the food.

It has not even the slightest idea of what is down that hall, but is excited.

The gnome memories are fuzzy. Gomz is pretty sure he'd been unconscious when he was brought to the cell, there is no recollection of this huge chamber.

There is a large metal door, but they Underling's keys have worked in the past.

The metal door opens under eventual use of Underslem's keys, to reveal a short hallway with an archway set into the far end. Through the archway is just blank stone, but if it functions similar to the balcony arches, then pressing the single glyph should allow passage.

As you step through the archway, those of you that breath begin to wheeze in the hot, humid air beyond. You find yourselves in a cave, sporadically dimly illuminated by an encrusting moss or lichen along the walls that glows a faint white. The floor of the cave tunnel extends ahead of you, beyond which you can hear a hissing sizzle, and flicker of reddish illumination and billowing steam coming from a side chamber.

The archway seems to be stable behind you as you all enter...

Fred things...<be sneeky...look down passage see what is red and causing wet smelly air> His mind projects either a small rat or smaller snake moving forward in the shadows to investigate...
Really...why are you reading this?

Gnomz grins." Sneaky? This form can do sneaky!"
He demonstrates by standing up against the wall and uses his abilities to seemingly vanish.

((Is naked Deep Gnomz scouting then? Roll stealth (+4) with advantage, and anyone else that's scouting can roll stealth too.))

Back through the arch? The air is breathable here, just hot and humid.

stealth (advantage): 2D20.HIGH(1)+4 = [9, 6]+4 = 13
Gnomz goes sneaking...sort of. He keeps sniggering and breaking his cover.

His giggling seems to be covered by the hissing, as he peeks around the corner and sees a figure kneeling by a steaming pool that doesn't seem to notice him. Its skin is red, and it has a long body with a thick neck and tail, as it turns, he can see a wide mouth and bulging eyes. It is wearing a chain shirt, and has a bladed weapon at its side.

The glow comes from a trickle of lava that slowly spills into the pool, hissing and steaming. The surface of the water breaks as another of the creatures emerges, this one holding some rocks in its webbed hands that it deposits on the edge of the pool.

The two converse in a crackling croak before the one in the pool dives down again.
