Slem can have, Sluj no need.

((I'm not actually opposed to having some spellcasting, since I expect we'll be changing it up, but I'm more willing to let someone else have it.))
My game:
Hunters of Letrua; Character list
Also Player / Monster stats, skill lists.

My characters:
Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)
Alex Sparo, A city boy, poor of sight, who has learned to manipulate people and make the most of what he, and others, have - Trinity Isles (Run by Mort)
Mehriv Turajin, a Noble Dragonborn Sorcerer sent from his clan because he wasn't dragony enough. - The Wandering Archipelago (Run by Thinks)

You spend an hour waiting about and exploring the confines of the lab while Slem engulfs, finishes consuming, and then takes the form of Underling.

The room is well sealed, Master didn't want you to go out without him, but he's not here, and hasn't been here in so long. During the hour wait, the room shakes and rattles some more, and a few more flashes occur, opening up windows through which you can see other rooms, some empty, some on fire, some filled with creatures milling about, but no one else falls through one into your room.

Slem, it feels odd, as it always does, to take on the form and a shadow of the memories of another creature. To have to balance and stilt about on legs is just so unnatural, though you regain your balance quickly. If Blob Bob is done playing with the keys, you can easily pick them up and identify the correct one to open the door.

((Badge, you can roll HD to recover HP. Not sure if Gathers is still playing, she never gave me a DEX save, so took full damage, but can likewise roll HD to regain HP if she'd like.))

Slem stilt walks its way over to the keys, chewing on the inside of its cheek to get a taste of what Underling tasted like to Underling.

<Give keys, we find more food. We find master!>

If not stopped, Slem will take the keys and try and open the door keeping them from master. It will also try and see if Underling remembers where master is? It thinks real hard about that. It will also wonder at the shear silliness of fingers. Good for keys...

If the door is opened it lets its siblings go ahead of it. It can throw nasty fire darts now. It thinks? It throws a fire dart at a wall to be sure.

Underling tasted much better before Slem was Underling.

((Give me an INT check as Underling (new statblock in link below).))

*Ffwip* Fire! Yay!

((Even though fire bolt will do less on average than your former pseudopod attack, you have range, and essentially 9 temporary HP.))

Master?: 1D20+2 = [2]+2 = 4

Underling's brain is dumb.

Slem knows that it has been a while since Underling has seen Master too, but can't recall if there was anywhere that Master went in particular.

Opening the door, there is a long stone hallway with doors along the length. Slem is pretty sure that Underling's key will work on those doors as well. There is an odd odor in the air, smelling like burning, though there is no smoke. Master's lighting system flickers sporadically, the glass enclosed torches dimming and surging without seeming pattern. In the distance, something howls.

Slem ushers siblings out into the hall and goes to the nearest door. Does Underling remember what is behind it?

What to eat behind door?: 1D20+2 = [19]+2 = 21

Fred, his appetite satiated for the moment follows Underslem....

Howl?....what howl?.... He asks and tries to recall if he remembers hearing the sound before when Master was present...

Memory Check (Wis): 1D20 = [17] = 17

UnderSlem is pretty sure that the room contains squeaky things with naked tails that the Master used to feed some of his other projects. At least that is the shadow of memory drifting into their mind from what used to be Underling. Rats, that's the name. Some small, some quite big. Not bad eating, but not the best, from what Slem remembers.

And the door after that has things that walk on two legs like Master and Underling, but naked, and covered in fur. Nothing that Master had fed you before.

Fred remembers a howl, but doesn't know what made it, it was from somewhere that Master never took them when he had them out of their room.

Underslem considers what it remembers and asks spawnmates with mind images if it should open the door:

<Rats or to bigger not rats and not master? Slem wants more food, master maybe far from here?>

Fred tries to remember if Rats were much of a challenge or even tasty....

Memory of Rats...: 1D20+2 = [11]+2 = 13

<Rats were medium tasty. Less tasty than Underling same tasty as chicken.>

Underslem uses its face orbs to gather information. Strange to gather information on things so far away! It 'watches' spawnmate Bob splog away while tasting the door with it's new appendage for tasting. Then the wall, then the keys, then the door knob...

Blob Bob thinks they can get under one of the doors.

Fred thinks Underslem is right on rat flavor, but Master gave them dead rat pieces. They do have teeth...

Underslem opens whichever door the majority want, it's vote is for rats.

Rat info: 1d20+2 = [10] = 12

Gomz doesn't remember much about the rats he consumed other than they were dead. He's okay with whatever the group decides.

As Underslem opens the door, two small rats and a much larger rat scurry out, squeaking frantically. More rats on on their tails, literally.

((Anyone who would like to can make an opportunity attack.))
