Gris ponders their options, meanwhile the armored figure recoils from Slem's attack in confusion, and shouts something at you that none of you can understand.

((It was surprised, so didn't get to take any actions. Miasma is up!))

The creature is even more confused as a mule rounds the corner, runs up to it and kicks at it with it's hooves! It pulls up its shield and deflects the strike, croaking in its unfamiliar language.

Sluj joins the charge, but isn't familiar enough with this new form to understand how it fights.

Hooves: 1D20+2 = [2]+2 = 4
1D4+2 = [4]+2 = 6

Sluj joins his fellow mule in cornering the progressively more confused creature against the side of the pool.

Fork is guarding the archway, or distracted by glowing moss, or the like.

Fred drops from a stalagmite onto the poor sot...and constricts them...

1d20+4 = [14] = 18

And I have no idea what my damage is...but i think its a 1d6+4
1d6+4 = [2] = 6

((It's 1d8+2.))

The poor befuddled creature is attacked not just by mules, but also by a big snake that wraps around it! It gives pained croaks as the muscular coils tighten.

((The three of you that have attacked melee have taken up the space available to do so, it's up against the pool of steaming water on the other side.))

1d8+2 = [5] = 7 ((And it is in some state per the other's attacks I beleive but I can't see any linked images anymore either...))

((Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: (1d8 + 2) bludgeoning damage. The target is grappled (escape dc 14) Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained, and the snake can't constrict another target.))

((So it has Speed of 0 and disadvantage on any of it's attacks, and other attacks on it have advantage, though right now mules are the only others able to get melee in on it.))

Gnomz eases up to the pool and conceals himself against the wall, waiting to ambush anything that tries to come up out of the water.

Gnomz hides against the rock, and notices a pile of swords and shields very similar to those on the fellow that his sibling-snake has wrapped up.

There are three shields and three scimitars. They are all black metal, and the shield looks like overlapping scales.

Gnomz will take a sharpie and the shield. He'll toss the other sharpies away from the pool and closer to the door, then take up his station near the pool to ambush the red creatures.

((That's more than you can do on your turn during combat. You get one item interaction, each other item interaction will take your action to do, as will putting on the shield. You'd be looking at more like 3-4 turns there.))

Underslem will ready a firebolt for whatever comes out of the water.

1D10 = [10] = 10
