"Oh yes, some of them were quite interested in science before they died. Gave more than a few of them quite a surprise to find out it wasn't the eternal nothingness they were expecting! I haven't met many religious dead who got what they were expecting either right enough."

Phyllis cheerfully misunderstands the provocation and helps herself to some toast and jam and a nice cup of tea.

"Ah... so any known physicists or maybe doctors you've talked to? I mean, If I as a famous, lets say nuclear scientist had ways to create my autobiography post mortum, I'd jump at that chance right away.. wouldn't you agree?" J├©rgen starts to talk like he is generally interested.

"Oh dear... You are SO focused on the here and now aren't you?"

Phyllis pats his arm sympathetically and gives him an understanding smile.

"Why in the world would the dead care about fame in this world when they have a whole new one to live in? Most of the ones I meet just pop back to check in on their friends and family, or find a nearby medium like myself to pass the time for a little while and reminisce about the silly things they used to get all excited about when they had a physical body to cart around. Coming back is like a holiday for them you see, and after a while, most of them just stop coming back."

J├©rgen makes a smile that looks like he is glad for the symphaty

"Well, yes I am a bit focused on the now.. remember.. I live in the now.. and well.. if I my ancestor was... lets say Einstein, I would love for him to come back and tell me how wrong, and more important, why he was wrong to be part of inventing the nuclear bomb... they could change the life of many, that, like me live in the now!"

Phyllis tuts and rolls her eyes at Boro then goes back to her conversation with Jorgen.

"Of course you do dear. We all do! But from what I've been told, the dead have considerably more flexibility in that regard. It takes most people a while to accept that the limitations they spent so long with here can be discarded, but once they realise the opportunities they have... Well, that's about when they stop visiting people like me. Now don't you think someone like Alby would rather be racing beams of light through the cosmos than worrying about what he may or may not regret?" Phyllis asks with a sly twinkle in her eye and a grin.

"Now, come on both of you. We have a funeral to get to or are you going to sit here all day?"

(Phyllis will leave her suitcase at the hotel, but will bring her handbag and knitting in case she gets bored).

Devouring the pore excuse for a breakfast that the hotel (More easily eaten by J├©rgen who washes it down with the drink), the hotel manager points the way and you walk around the corner of the lake to the church.

Upon entering the church you suddenly feel as it a big burden has bin removed from your shoulders. The bad weather and the shitty hotel must have gotten to you more then you realized, and for the first time sense you arrived in this town you feel relaxed.

A short ceremony is held in the church, which-after The priest says a few words in-front of the coffin. The funeral procession then commences and you fallow the coffin as it is carried out to the cemetery. As you exit the church you once again feel you mussels involuntarily tens again the second you step out the door. A light rain has started falling as you gather around the grave. The coffin is lowered into the ground, ending with a "SHLOFS" as it hits the muddy bottom. Johanna, the widow, starts crying at the sound, and the siblings to Per (both in there 50s) stand close together. A number of figures stand waiting in the rain, talking with lowered voices. The funeral seems to be over and your guessing they are, just like you, waiting for someone to show them to the lunch, just like Gorge in the hotel promised. Until then it seems like its going to be mingle with the others in the rain.

Phyllis takes a few steps away from the crowd and pulls out a handkerchief. Pretending to be needing a moment alone, she can concentrate on talking to the voice in her head.

"Oh! Good afternoon! I was hoping someone might say hello today! Funerals do tend to bring everyone together after all. Now then, let's calm down shall we? If you tell me what the matter is, I can try and get some answers for you. Goodness only knows I've helped out enough of your lot to know you can't very well go and do it yourself now can you? Now. First things first, who are you talking about and what did she do to upset you so much?"

Boro approaches widow.
"Hi, I wanted to say I was really sorry, for what happened in the morning, neither me or my friends didn't want to offence you. Once again my condolences and I'm sorry for your loss... I also want to make it clear we are not here to try to fool you or steal your (may Lord rest his soul) husband's money... I don't know about others, but I just got invitation and I thought it would be rude to decline it... even though I didn't now your (may he rest in peace) husband... I'm sorry for taking your time... Phyllis hears something said in swedish, but the only word that sticks to her mind was "MORD!"

The widow Johanna
"I really loved him you know" she says with a sigh. "And now that hes dead I have lost everything"
"His brother Johan managed to get the deeds to the firm in his name, the sneaky basterd. just before he died" (said with real lothing)
"And as that probably was the only thing Per game me in his will i'll have nothing"
She sighs
"Nothing except a large dept that is "
She starts crying uncontrollably

The man talking in the phone swears "jävla skitmotagning det är i den här hålan, jag får fanemig ingen signal!" And heads of towards the hotel

You find the priest inside the church. When you ask about the lunch, he apologizes and says that the vicar hasn't bin in today.
"If your looking for him, his house is just next to the church, down by the lake

Johan R├Ânnell (The departed pers brother)
He seems to be quite pleased, yet comforting toward his sister next to him.
As you start talking he almost immediately manages to switch the conversation to antics, making it a one-sided conversation. Still it is interesting, he is a good spokesman and you cant help being fascinated as he describes the steps in item evaluation, how to tell the age of a item, and storage to prevent mold, yet not dry out the leather and pages of books and items.

J├Ârgen:
Image
The man stands at the payphon by the reception,(room 16), and using your journalistic ninja skills you stand between the rooms 3 and 15 listening

Surprisingly enough he cant seem to reach the one hes calling. He tries several times, and you can hear the ringing...

...wait you actually hear the ringing, at the exact same time as he calls coming from room 2. The man hangs up and you fallow him with your eyes as he enters room 13

Stina enters the hotel as you ponder what to do.
