ok, so forget about the flying hooverbot. sheet metal (maybe mix of copper and iron), tubes and armature would be good enough help.

I'll ask the clank for building materials (parts, junk, metal, wood, leather, and whatever else they have) and fuel. Bellows, clothing, and medical supplies as Tier Two items.
Any objections or modifications?

I'm assuming you're asking for objections or modifications from the others? Cause if there is anything that I object to, it'll just get off the list I roll against to see what you get.

If request list doesn't get posted in the game thread before I update tomorrow, I'll just handwave and include the things you've been talking about here as being what was requested and move on from there. Also, if I don't have posts otherwise, Ursula was headed towards making dinner, and I'll have Gabe assist. They, along with August will get a double update to reflect them getting to work last turn after chatting with the clank. I think everyone will be on task then (Sal likely reading a new book... or wandering around asking people if he can he helpful), so we might be able to get a few turns in, which would give Sam a bit more of a chance to heal, as well as get us closer to the next morning, which will be bringing the arrival of goods and at least 1 new friend.

Sorry, been rushing around a fair bit recently. Yes to dinnermaking and yes to List Of Stuff As It Stands, and I'll try and post in the interim if I can.

I have rolled for what will be sent down, at least in terms of category, haven't decided what that means for each yet. All requested items were placed in a spreadsheet, 22 items long and I rolled 11d2 to determine the number of dice rolled. You did well, getting an 18. I then rolled 18d22, with each roll result corresponding to a row on the spreadsheet. The categories you will be receiving at least something in are:
The categories you will not be receiving anything in are:
The received doesn't add up to 18, as a few numbers were rolled more than once, an extra layer of chance.
For each of the categories you are getting something in, I'll be making up a list of potential items, then similarly rolling against that to determine first how many, and second which ones you'll get.

Huh, okay. Cool. Not the way I figured you'd do it or sort it, but it works. And we get most of the stuff we wanted. Thanks!

Re: Surviving Castle Heterodyne - OOC Discussion Thread
I abuse invisiblecastle for this game... as you might have guessed from the bee and leech mechanics.... if this were a pencil and paper game where I was rolling behind a GM's folder...
I'm sure there are more straightforward ways of doing it, but I like leaving it to chance within a range of parameters.
I've populated the spreadsheet for each category with descriptors for the items of that type. For example in wood, n terms of quality you can get straight, slightly bowed, warped, broken or splintered, or firewood. For width and thickness, you can get shaft, board, plank or timber. For length, you have short, medium or long. For wood type, you have oak, pine, beech or chestnut. For age, you have fresh sawn, dried, or weathered.
By rolling 1d5+1d4+1d3+1d4+1d3=12 I get 1,2,2,4,3... which results in straight, board, medium, chestnut, weathered...
I'll also make a roll for quantity, depending on what you get from the descriptors. For this example, the 1d10 came up ten, so you'd be receiving
10 straight, weathered chestnut boards, ~2m in length.

Re: Surviving Castle Heterodyne - OOC Discussion Thread
In today's update, I was able to advance things an hour (4 turns) before everyone but Sam finished what they were doing at the same time... well Sal finished early, but NOA hasn't logged into the forum in a month, so I don't feel bad about Sal taking a nap instead of figuring out something to do.
Sam is currently at 70% chance of recovery for his next attempt) and 7 HP, so best case is 3 more turns to be back to 10HP, and worst case:
1st turn: 7 HP and 80% next
2nd turn: 7 HP and 90% next
3rd turn: 7 HP and 100% next
4th turn: 8 HP and 100% next
5th turn: 9 HP and 100% next
6th turn: 10 HP and 100% next
So Sam should be back in action shortly after 8PM at the latest...

i did not read this before my post, but maybe it speeds this up: hiero tries to put moss on wounds he can spot and which do not touch the moss of the bed of the injured person, since he spotted the red healing shine a night or some more ago.

As a result of being injured and healed so much, Sam has increased in HP, and is now at 11 HP. First bump was at 10 HP lost/healed, it will likely scale up from there... (second may be at 25 total, then 40, etc.)
