Now, that's what I would call a very decisive no, no?

I wouldn't say that. I think she was just so perplexed and disturbed that she needed him gone for a moment, just so she could think about it for a minute. (Or rather for ten minutes.)

Or she sent him back to tell Thor the good news over a pint of beer.
Alas, she could not have known of the pub up there....

Even years in the future, Thor is gonna reserve a little spot at the pub for the times he gets smitten by his wife, so he can have a bit of a timeout while she does the Resurrection again...

Do you lose levels or anything when you have to get resurrected?

I think it depends on the spell in question..? Earlier level spells cost a level while higher level, more expensive spells can do it for essentially free..?

Now I'm wondering if that kid actually is Durkon's, since he's just asked and Hilgya didn't reply.

The amount of insane troll logic Hilgya operates on is truly staggering. It must be comparable to Elan's power source.

It's been
brought up before that death isn't a big deal in the OOTS-verse, and Hilgya had Durkon back up in a minute. Emotional pain is a bit tougher to overcome.

page 1151 - Halfling Baby Steps Are Very Small
Ends with a new quotable quote of T-shirt quality. Otherwise not a particularly great strip, just connective tissue.

Well, there could've been more said in that talk between Belkar and Durkon....
Otherwise the page is fine.

Unlikely. Neutral is about the best we're ever likely to see.

Eh, if you've been looking at his character arc, I'd say he's ALREADY neutral- He hasn't been done anything outright evil for a long time, and there's been multiple hint drops/outright drops that he's becoming a better person.

As recently as the Gnome Town arc, he was still getting pained when he put on a Protection from Evil talisman.

1152 Reunion
Clearly she thinks all humans look the same, what a bigot.

Good RS answered, I might not have seen the updae otherwise.
(Good work in editing, but I think after all this time a double post would be more than allowed.)

Heh, Durkon's been calling his mom all the time, and they never worked out/discussed why he left and has (not) been banished from his lands?
Oh, I hate my memory.
I will have to reread to find out if his mom could've known...

Also reminds me of:

Although the effect will be different likely, as the prophecy of Odin regarding what happens when Durkon returns home.

If only she knew what the council will be about, she would not comment on/complain about it like that....
And the Odin-forsaken town is pretty much infested, as the astute reader will observe in the last panel.
For some reason swirly eyes do not get noticed by the protagonists, but everyone watching will yell "NOOOO"!

Either one that's going to surprise us by having the ability to prevent mind control, or just becoming one that dies...
