With the help of the chisel, Zoomy creates an reusable mold for gripping tongs.

He hopes that he'll be able to stick metal-bars into the furnace and hammer them into shape to create all the interesting things his friends need in the long run.

Ryan learns heaver 1. He moves closer to the bugs, wary of them attacking. If they do, Ryan will strike them with a spear. Otherwise he will attack the large bug with a spear.

Oggy concentrates on this strange power, unlocking some of his potential. He focusing on the water droplets he tries moving them with his will, then sees how much water can be levitated by willing it.

Spend 10 xp to learn Hidden Potential 1

Year 3, month 7, week 2:
"all water and similar fluids rise by 1d2 blocks."

Events:
- the water level of the lake rises by 2 blocks. This year the flood is really strong and the dam is tested like never before. But it withstands the flood.

Boomy:
Boomy builds another support pilar before he continues to mines 4 stone into 8 construction stone.

Complains:
Complains walks to Zoomy and says "Hey, I will continue to mine your room, okay?"

Oggy:
Oggy focuses on the water drops, letting them slowly rotate around his head.

Ryan:
Trip and Ryan sneak close to the exit of the little tunnel and the large bug. It looks like it has not noticed them yet. They stab it with the spear and shovel, but it just slams a large leg on both tools, breaking them, while the spear head remains stuck in its armor.

I think I maybe missunderstood what he wanted to do. It read like chiseling a mould and than hammering the heated metal bars into it. If that was wrong Enkrod tell me.

Oggy decides to step onto the water and use his newfound power to not break through the surface. He stays close to MAggie incase he loses his focus and falls through.

Yes, that was wrong ^^ I only wanted to create the reusable mold.
The other stuff is about what I'll try to achieve in the long run. But i got the mold out of it, so... no Problem. It's only a shame about the construction stones lost.


Action: Zoomy will use the reusable tongs-mold to create a gripping tong and wrap the handle with wet seaweed, letting it dry afterwards, so the seaweed will provide firm grip.

Year 3, month 7, week 3:
"all water and similar fluids fall back to their normal level. Seeds/spores turn into plants."

Events:
- the water levels drop a lot, taking Maggy along.
- Once the water is more shallow, Oggy can see the seaweed started to grow again, and some do the mushrooms all around the cave. The seaweed seeds that are to deep under water rott.

Boomy:
Boomy feels he learned a lot about crafting with stone. He mines 2 iron and 8 construction stones.

Complains:
Complains mines 4 stone into 16 construction stone.

Oggy:
Oggy, trying to test out the borders of his new found abilities, tries to step on the water. For a split second it seems to withstand, but then the surface sinks in, looking like if he stepped on a whole covered with a sheet. Only when he is completely below the surface, it bursts like a soap bubble and he is suddenly engulfed with cold water. He gasps for air and finds Ryan next to him. They both climb back into Maggy and rest a while.

Ryan:
Ryan decides to swim to the other side of the lake. He makes it halfway and rests a while on Maggy, where he sees Oggy doing strange things. They both climb back into Maggy and rest a while.

Trip:
Trip climbs out of the tunnel and watches Zoomy forge gripping tongs. He reports what the bug did and that they need better weapons. Then Trip focuses on hearing what happens in the tunnel, but no bugs followed him.

Zoomy:
Zoomy melts 2 iron and pours most of it into the gripping tongs halfs mould. After they have cooled down he grinds the edges with a stone and then pours the rest into a smaller line in the mold. Before it has fully cooled down, he tosses the little iron piece on the ground and hammers it into a cylindrical shape, then he pushes it over the hole going through both parts of the tongs and hits it until it properly connects them. Then he flattens both ends of the shaft so the tongs would not fall appart to easily. After it cooled down, he finds it hard to move the tongs, maybe some oil will do. Or enough moving to grind the holes and the shaft it into a more round shape. While the metal cooled down, he had harvested 1 seaweed, which he carefully wrapps about both grips. Then he puts it where it can dry, which is finished at the end of the week.

Oggy follows Ryan to the other shore, taking a break from test5ing out his odd new abilities. He'll need to train them more later. If the squid get close enough to the shore he attacks one. helps Ryan with paddling the boat to the right shore, attacking the squids if they get too close.

"Hey Trip, do you want this Scale Shirt?" Zoomy hands his Shirt to Trip. "I think you can make better use of it than I."

Zoomy can use both hands to open and close the tongs when he works with them, so he'll not grind them right now (and he has no Idea of how to get some oil). He'll have to make do with them for now, so he can make a spearpoint for Trip.

Action: Zoomy puts one metal bar into the furnace, to heat it till it's formable and then he'll take it out with the tongs and hammer it into the shape of a speartip on the solid ground.

Year 3, month 8, week 1:
"All plants and similar things grow x 2."

Events:
- the seaweed keeps growing. The goblins cannot spot the octopuses anymore, maybe they hid in it.
- the bats are more active than normally, seems they have mating season.

Boomy:
Boomy mines the last 2 iron he can reach without risking a cave in and also 8 construction stone. Then the vein is empty.

Complains:
Complains walks down to the rope and start picking foot holes into the vertical shaft where the rope is. This will make climbing up not much easier, but it will free the rope to be used elsewhere. He picks foot holes into 8 blocks.

Oggy:
Ryan and Oggy row Maggy to the right shore of the lake. Oggy stays in the boat and focuses on the water some more.

Ryan:
Ryan and Oggy row Maggy to the right shore of the lake. Ryan walks to the right and reaches the coal vein.

Trip:
Trip learned a lot about working and fighting together with others. After Zoomy gave him a chiting scale shirt, he returns to the lava dome and takes a look at the ruins.

Zoomy:
Zommy hands his chitin scale shirt to Trip and receives his normal, not yet reinforced, shirt in return. He tests the gripping tongs. He can move them with enough force and it is getting easier the more often he does it. He then uses it, the chisel and the hammer to hammer a metal bar into a iron spear tip. He notices the tools deform slightly when using them on hot iron. Maybe he should cool them more often during the smithing.
