Maybe your offspring has vastly better eyesight than I do, but I just see a dully reflective solid-green surface. The biggest face close-ups are panels 9 and 15; I'm really trying to see an eye in there and I can't see anything other than shading that signifies curvature and environmental reflection.

EDIT - Oh okay, now I can just barely make it out in panel 15, but I certainly don't get any level of detail about its condition. Could someone with the right software (but NOT the high-res version, I want to be clear that it's not a difference between those things) post a blow-up of the image to about quadruple its current size? I'm not sure if even that much magnification will enable me to see anything more than "an eye" there.

By zooming in, what I am seeing isn't the eye, but a reflection of the Klik with it's mouth open about to take a bite of the armor.

It's in every panel, not just those with the Klik munching the plate. I mean, I might just be seeing it because I want to see it, but its even taken the right shape to be mirroring his normal eye's expression in the final panel, only in a smaller/swollen-up manner.

Another mobile screenshot incoming - I have very crudely ramped up the contrast to try and bring out that eye shape.

I don't know if the eye would be visible under the metal, even if it is still there. It looks more like a texturing thing

I personally don't think it's displayed on the page because there wasnt reference to it in the pre-shaded page, but there was some other stuff missing in the pre-shaded page so maybe?

I wonder if Forgath can deal fire damage with the patch on his right hand made by pink burny Klick.
Is it even possible for him now to take off his stone glove?

Here's how I think this gameplay session went:

Forgath's Player: "Ok, I roll off the bridge to escape Kore."
GM: "Are you sure about that? It would be certain death."
FP: "Yeah. Screw that guy."
GM: "Alright...you roll off the bridge and plummet to certain doom..."
FP: "Well, guess I should start working on a new character--"
GM: "--when suddenly, an array of flying orb creatures converge out of nowhere and arrest your descent!"
FP: "Wut."
GM: <rolls dice> They successfully slow your fall and place you gently on the ground! Unfortunately, you're still bleeding to death."
FP: "Well damn! Um, I guess I'll try to talk to--"
GM: "Mortally wounded characters do not speak! Silence, knave!" <smacks FP on forehead with a rolled-up character sheet>
GM: "The creatures bind your wounds with some unusual kind of magic which replaces the damaged tissue with the same type of material as the various creatures. Some are metal, some are stone, some are some sort of fluid. There's too many to count. There are no words...should've sent a poet..."
FP: "...are you finished?"
GM: "Yep! These modifications have some--peculiarities. This document will describe all the new abilities, weaknesses, and modifiers that you'll need to keep track of from now on."
GM: <drops a 500-page binder on the play mat>
FP: "I've got to read this to learn about all these new bits of my character?"
GM: "What? Oh! No no no...this is just volume one." <gestures at a stack of forty similar binders stacked nearby>
"All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day. You had a bad day once. Am I right? I know I am. I can tell. You had a bad day and everything changed."

GM: "Oh, and they trying to eat your armor. Roll a Diplomacy check to convince them to drop it... Yeah, 2 does nothing for you. They eat your plate."

Well considering he is looking at the Kliks, the reflections are going to be eye shaped. Which is what I think we are seeing.

That's just it. I don't think it's metal. It looks more like occluded green glass to me.

It is also possible that I've spent too much time considering reflection vs. refraction over the years.

I get the sense he -can't- see out of it. I figure it as all solid, unless that green Klik is glass.

I don't think it's glass, mostly because it doesn't look like glass in panel four(if that is the same klik up in the corner) It kind of looks like it may be, but doesn't seem consciously placed that way since I'm still looking for reference to it on the pre shaded page orz

If he can't see out of it yet, he might be able to learn to see out of it in the same way that Dies learned to control his arm. He might also be able to see the world the way the Kliks do, which would be pretty nifty to find out more about.

EDIT:
Someone might've already pointed this out, but it just occurred to me that those Kliktonium bits on Forgath are not the same color as his IME, so I don't think these Klikken did the same procedure to Forgath that Klik did to Dies.

Remember THunt pointing out Minmax is able to see with his damaged eye? It would be consistent if Forgaths eye is still functional either.

I've very ashamed to admit it took about three readings for me to notice there were two different armor-eating kliks.
