Possible (unlikely) Goblins Reference in DS3?
I haven't played Dark Souls 3 yet (no spoilers please) but I came across this .gif on imgur, anyone else think that thing looks like it could be a lesser finger horror or influenced by it?

Looks more like a giant Facehugger from Aliens than Mr Fingers.

Saw this guy couple days ago. He surely isn't a reference to Goblins, but he does look similar. It's because people from From Software changed their attitude towards enemy concepts after Bloodborne. Speaking plainly - the sicker the design, the better.

The souls games have always been heavily influenced by Berserk. Bloodborne was a lot of Brotherhood of the Wolf aesthetic coupled with a healthy dose of Lovecraft mythos. I haven't had a chance to pick up DS3 yet myself, but I'm looking forward to seeing what they've incorporated from the lessons learned in Bloodborne.

Well, it sure makes you adopt this face every time you face an opponent, even those (mostly... kind of... vaguely...) humanoid.
