((Way pre-emptive but in case you do get down to Varsk tonight))

Grunting in pain Varsk will pursue the no longer archer lizard to finish it swinging his maul and connecting solidly.

Attack: 22
Damage: 10

If the lizard drops (and Varsk has movement left) he will move as far as he can NE.

Either way he uses his second wind to recover a whopping 3 hp! (already updated)

Edited to eliminate a no longer needed if statement and to add second wind hp gain.

Kal gurgles and manages to press his hand against the wound in his neck, slowing the bleeding somewhat.

Syli curses loudly, hurling a perfect shot at one of the oncoming lizardfolk, before running a little way north and healing Kal. Kal feels the blood congeal under his fingers, and the wound close. It still hurts like hell and it's going to leave a scar, but he thinks he can get back up at least. Kal is back to 5HP [HP Updated].

Gwen retaliates against the archer who downed Kal, scoring a decent hit.

Both lizardfolk to the south charge Mehriv, one (the northmost) dashing to reach him. The other is ready with machete and shield. Mehriv dodges the machete easily enough, but steps directly into the edge of the shield. His vision swims briefly, but he is still standing. Just. [HP updated]
THe archer engaging Varsk scrambles up the slope and attacks with claws and teeth again. This time it lands a heavy strike with his claws raking through a gap in Varsk's armour, its jaws snapping shut on nothing but air. Varsk takes 8 damage. [HP Updated]
No-one's really paying any attention to the human woman any more. She's probably still by the tower.

((Move 1 south, throw, 1 south east, 1 east.))

I step around Kal and flick two darts at the nearest archer.

Dart attacks: 1D20+6 = [9]+6 = 15
1D20+6 = [2]+6 = 8

*Edit: actually, I goofed that... they are at disadvantage, so treat that as my first dart.

Dart attack: disadvantage: 2D20.LOW(1)+6 = [11, 5]+6 = 11
((If the first one hits?))
Dart attacks: 1D4+4 = [2]+4 = 6

As my two darts fly off to join their siblings in the underbrush, I then scoot southeast and east, ending just north of Gwen.

Merric will shoot an eldritch blast at an archer. If he can move so they don't have cover he will. (I should be one step to the left)

Merric Eldritch blast: 1D20+5 = [8]+5 = 13
Eldritch blast damage: 1D10 = [5] = 5

When Mehr's turn rolls around he'll blast a Ray of Frost at the bloodied lizard.

but it seems like that blow from the shield rattled him quite a bit.

Right. Just came back because I realized that I I'd parsed it wrong. I thought you had advantage. Because you said they were at disadvantage. Never mind.

Korrik tosses two darts into the forest, which at least force the lizard to duck as they fly past but they do not hit.

Mehriv blasts Ray of Frost well wide of his target, and Merric shoots a tree (you can't get past the cover of the trees).

The two archers in the north shift positions, shooting at Gwen and Kal. The archer to the west fires at Korrik, but no-one is hit from their side either.
Varsk continues his personal duel with the archer in the SW, landing a mighty blow but still unable to bring him down. The lizardfolk spits out teeth and grins. Varsk is invigorated by the battle and recovers 3HP [HP updated].

Syli launches another well-placed slingstone at the bloodied lizardfolk, before scooting further east to stay out of reach.

-Sling (+5): 18 to-hit, 7 damage bludgeoning
-Movement: 3 spaces east

((Huh. Apparently penalties for shooting into melee is no longer a thing in 5e. Not that I'm complaining.))

1D10 = [3] = 3
Apparently not.

Kal drags himself back to his feet and restores 2HP with his last lay on hands.

Syli drops the lizardfolk warrior and then back off east to give herself more space.

Gwen blasts another spell into the forest, hitting nothing but foliage.

The large lizardfolk warrior bellows, and hits Mehriv hard with the edge of his shield, and everything goes black for the sorceror [HP updated]. The lizard warrior then rushes Gwen, using its machete attack to hit her hard for 5 damage [HP updated].
The archer engaged with Varsk attacks him again with claws and teeth, but can't get past the half-orc's armor.

The woman is probably still where you last saw her.

I swing my staff and a foot at the lizardman that just hit Gwen.

((Yeah, that's the scarp, so it's like a 5 foot drop or so. It's less steep over by the entangle spell patch, but it's certainly not a dangerous drop. Just a muddy scramble))

Korrik scoots around Gwen and swings at the big warrior who just hit her. He misses with his quarterstaff but manages to land a decent kick. The warrior looks bloodied now, but is still standing and still fighting.

Varsk knows that time is running out and this fight has gone on too long so he brings his maul down in an overhand swing connecting will the cracking sound of a skull popping like a grape.

Attack: 21
Damage: 11

He will wait to make sure the lizard is falling before hussling to the NE.

((God I hope it is dead after 29 damage...))

Why are you calling Mehriv a cow in Danish? :P I know, I know it has different meaning

Merric continues to hide next to Kal and his protective shield usage and blast the lizardfolk near Gwen.

Merric eldritch blast: 1D20+5 = [18]+5 = 23
Eldritch blast damage: 1D10 = [5] = 5

@Burns While this encounter is stronger than the usual for our level we still had the advantage, granted we kinda squandered it by spreading too thin and the dice going against us. But we had a surprise round and the enemies came in waves so we had a slight chance to deal with them in small forces before they all got here. A round more in between might have been useful with the bad rolls we got though. Are you by any chance using the kobold fight club to measure how hard our encounters are?

((I am getting a deadly encounter rating from Kobold fight club, 7 level 2s versus 10 lizardfolk. :'(

Though when I have used it in the past for the few encounters I have set up it seemed a bit easier than what KFC predicted, and it doesn't take into account the two rounds the west lizards needed to get in.))

(Yes I used the kobold fight club to see how hard it was. It was hard fight for lv 3, deadly for lv 2s.)

Gwen is going to blast the lizard in front of her.

Eldrich blast : 1D20+6 = [20]+6 = 26
1D10 = [10] = 10

Crit dmg: 1D10 = [5] = 5
Holy fudge!
