All this time in a desert has left Holger craving for people that can see just how great he is! Can't see anything going wrong with that!

Meanwhile the scary looking dark man will stay in his bunk scribbling in his journal and playing with his knives. We'll see who gets in more trouble.

Thus far I would say you and Maji are in the lead with Holger resolving trouble for once

Is Holger trying to accomplish anything in particular work his new friends? Or just having fun and blowing off steam?

He'll try to get a few connections/allies especially with the two wealthy guys. Lowkey boast about his own adventures and listen for rumors of monsters in the vicinity and if people have loosened up, if there's any dirt on amongst guards. Like if they abuse their power or haven't stepped up to complete their duties. Maybe even a certain event a couple of months ago.

"In draconic it says 'H acting odd. We need to talk.' "
I hear by reference PotC Deadman's Chest: " Does it seem like the Cap'n is acting a little strange..." Gets a look. "...er?"

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
No, correct thread. Apparently too obscure a reference. Pirates of the Caribbean: Deadman's Chest. Cap'n Jack had just abandoned his hat to the sea due to his panic about the black mark showing up on his hand. The mini pirate and Mr. Gibbs were discussing his ...more than usually odd behavior. A comment similar to Ulmwin's basically: Holger always acts strange.

Be going offline for a bit. Need to make an overnight trip up to KC. Whether I have a chance to check in will depend on the wifi situation. Otherwise tomorrow night.
Edit: Yay for free wi-fi!

So I guess Nem will be sleeping until like 2-3pm or so, right? I'll keep an eye on the thread, but if I've got a bit of a break coming for Nem, I'll pop back into the wandering archipelago and at least get that battle going again!

Yeah, she's got until early afternoon to rest. With them not getting to bed early, the others are only getting up an hour or two on teh other side of noon from you, so we'll see how much trouble they can get in without you.
He'll be back April, but not sure when. I just know his last for Holger was last for March.

Old wizard contacting us in a couple days: "Hey, did you manage to find out anything?"
Us: "Erm... No, man."
Old wizard: "Nothing? Not even some clues?"
Us: "We were... Preoccupied in very important matters, man."
Old wizard: "...Why does your voice sound like that?"
Us: "Erm... No, man."

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Anyone interested in the poison protection bracelet? As a dwarf it is a bit of overkill on top of Dornikal's racial resistance. He can wear just so it's used but it is probably better on someone else.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I mean, given how many snakes we run into it's probably useful to have in the group, but I think I'm good.

Though you're uncursed now, so probably the snakes you do run into are less likely to want you dead. Plenty of other poison stuff though.

So supposing that Randy wanted to put protection from Good/Evil on this thing. What would that take?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
• A formula detailing its creation. Trial and error is not likely to produce the result you want.
• Ability to infuse the desired spell into the item.
• Some exotic material component. (ie, will take a quest to hunt said item down)
• Gold cost to cover other materials, etc. For this I'd say it would be an uncommon item, so would be 200 gold.
• Time to devote to its production. For this it would take 2 workweeks (20 days, at 8 hours per day).
• Appropriate tool proficiency or proficiency in Arcana.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Hmm....
Later then. Maybe next time when the group makes a stand down he can look into it.

Hmm, half tempted to act offended on Dornikal's stead and either shame the guy into giving a discount... Or getting us all kicked out.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Your call, Dornikal isn't going to fuss over it. He got his gems and is a happy camper.
What is the plan after the taylor's shop? Back to the inn to see if Holger/Tess have any leads? Dornikal himself has not idea how to even begin approaching this.
