"Great!" Kryz pulls out a belt knife and cuts a slice of meat off the dead horse underneath him and chews on it.
"Mmm. Still fresh."

Saca keeps the wepaons and armour (might still be able to use the leather/metal to craft something else) and helps Balin with the horses.
She also gives tracking the goblins a shot.

"Uh, who will be staying to guard the wagon while we run off? Anyone could come by and say 'Hey free stuff' and we don't get paid or the wagon because we are running off chasing a goblin? Also I'm..."
She loses her train of thought as she watches Kryz chew on the raw horse meat, a big grin on her face. It wasn't that fresh. Amazing!
"Uh. Oh yes, I'm hurt, and need a break and I thought we were only couple hours from town. Can't we ride the wagon to town, get paid or sell the stuff see if Gundren is there and if not decide what to do?"

"I guess he could have walked to town if the goblins were just doing a bit of piracy."

Balin sighs. "I'm not getting a clear track, anyway. Since we're only half a day away, we could deliver the cart and see if he's there. If he's not we can come back and try again. We wouldn't have to worry about someone making off with the cart in that case."

"Are you able to see any dwarf prints heading to town?", Calrick asks in between checking to see if Lewis is back in range.
"Lewis will be able to follow the road and catch up if we head on, but he might have seen more... If he saw our employer, are we turning around again?"

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
"We should get the cart out of our hair, one way or another. We can decide what we do afterwards, once we know what awaited us in Phandelver and whether or not we got paid for our trouble so far and how likely it is that we get paid for our trouble from there on out. I mean I don't know about you, but I don't risk my life for strangers without at least the prospect of getting something out of it. The 'something' might be the gratitude of a person in peril, mind you," she looks pointedly at Kryz at this point, who hasn't so much as thanked her for the healing up to now, "but my services are not free, as I need to eat and sleep and whatnot, too, and that doesn't come free, either. Besides, I don't feel at home in goblin-infested woods, either."

After several minutes of waiting, the group notices a small owl fly out from the forest. It lands on Calrick's shoulder and starts hooting at him.

Lewis will allow it as long as she's gentle and doesn't ruffle his feathers.
Calrick will sort rest in the wagon if possible too.

Kryz pats the dead horse and gets back up to his feet, taking his place again in the front of the cart. After a little while, he seems to be feeling more his usual self, and picks up his lute again to provide some music for the rest of the journey up the road. It's mostly sailors' tunes, but he plays pretty well.

"Thank you for scouting." Saca says to Lewis and Cal.
"Oi, Kryz, your turn to walk. It's bad enough that you didn't even thank me for healing you from the cusp of death, but I'm still wounded and you're not so let me take a breather on the cart, why don't you?" Saca says gruffily, by now more than just a little annoyed at his nonchalance and ungratefulness.
If she gets a spot on the wagon, she will short rest on it as well.

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
The rutted track emerges from a wooded hillside, and you catch your first glimpse of Phandalin. The town consists of forty or fifty simple log buildings, some built on old fieldstone foundations. More old ruins-crumbling stone walls covered in ivy and briars-surround the newer houses and shops, showing how this must have been a much larger town in centuries past. Most of the newer buildings are set on the sides of the cart track, which widens into a muddy main street of sorts as it climbs toward a ruined manor house on a hillside at the east side of town.
As you approach, you see children playing on the town green and townsfolk tending to chores or running errands at shops. Many people look up as you approach, but all return to their business as you go by.

Re: D&D 5e: The Lost Mines of Phandelver
She hugs Lewis real gentle like and whispers into its mind,
"Who's a good owl? Who is a good owl? You are, yes you are. Good Lewis."
She doesn't offer her seat to Saca, reasoning she is also wounded and it is harder to read while walking.
Once they can see the town she says,
"Wow! This place is a dump! Where's Barthen's Provisions?"
She looks and spots it straightaway.
Perception for Barthens Provisions: 1D20+2 = [19]+2 = 21
"There it is, there! You see it? Right there, no the other log building. Not that one, the bigger one. Ya there."
Once there she offers,
"Who is gonna wait out here to make sure no one takes our wagon while I go get our money?"
